MtGox may be gone for good. Does anyone know much about Japanese Money Laundering or Financial regulations that May shut down MT Gox after this Hacking? I opened an account 3 days ago. Its insane deflation was ruining all btc based business, as it was more profitable to simply hold to the bitcoins and wait then to trade with them, now with the speculators scared as hell and away of it, it could be an opportunity to actually create a Bitcoin economy. Although the recent period of deflation could be regarded as a 'growing pain', experience as a trader coping with deflation will be valuable in determining whether a deflationary currency is workable in practice, not just in theory. If you don't exchange bitcoin's using LR, than there isn't any problems. Actually this whole "exchange" aspect of bitcoins sickens me. Thats not what they're meant for. I didn't say Bitcoin was going anywhere, and didn't say anything about exchanging Bitcoin for Liberty Reserve. I was questioning if MT Gox would be gone for good, and if they were even legally operating in the US or Japan. I am a proponent of BTC, I was question if Mt Gox will ever come back, that's all.

Actually, I spent several coins when they were between $25 and $30. Im very happy about it. Hopefully all this will teach everyone that hoarding bitcoins forever its not such a good idea.
