Post by: grape_tectonics on July 16, 2017, 06:39:00 PM no cpu can compete with gpu's in terms of cost efficiency but out of all of them, monero is the most fitting for CPU's since unlike zcash or eth algorithms, it heavily banks on a large on-chip cache which gpu's don't have.
