Your Electrum has mBTC as its denomination. The value shown is simply 2.893BTC in mBTC. Electrum doesn't display the wallet value in fiat.

To adjust how the value is displayed and to show in BTC terms instead of mBTC, follow these steps:

1. Go to Tools -> Preferences
2. Click the Appearance tab
3. Change the base unit to BTC

Optionally, you could also go to the Fiat tab to add an additional column with USD values.
