Title: Hey guys... I'm really worried about Vitalik
Post by: Dwayne_Bamage on July 16, 2017, 10:33:36 PM
When ether drops back down below $1.00 I don't think Vitalik is going to handle it very well.

he'll get nice job in the kremlin. and it's safe to say he's already cashed out plenty. he's set for life no matter what happens to ethereum.

You're very sarcastin, but I really think Vitalik is all done with ethereum and doesn't care about ethereum any more. Look at his tweets, you'll see what I mean.

What's going on with you dude? Why must ether drop until $1 again? Looks we back to the real price of the crypto, but i will not believe the price of ethereum will worth $1 each. At least it will never below the litecoin as claimed to be the silver after the Bitcoin.  ::) ::) ::)

Vitalik doesn't care about the price, he cares about building interesting and useful things

any example tweets?

if he did walk away and ethereum carried on fine then that would be a great thing for the project. the proof of vitalik accusation hasn't done it any favors.

No coin should have a single (or even a couple of) known people behind them.

I strongly believe Bitcoin's success partly comes from the detachment of a single active leader and mystery of Satoshi.

As soon as a coin is tied to a known and active person it becomes problematic; it introduces unnecessary politics, opinions and personality. It takes away from decentralization.

I think Vitalik is already rich enough that he doesn't care about the day to day price.

from where i'm sitting you could say the exact same thing about decentralisation. all the politics, mind games and bullshit come from the lack of identifiable leadership. of course that's a virtue in a way but it's also created years and years of enmity.

Vitalik, or crypto geniuses like him, don't care much about money. It's about a vision to change the world. But thank you for trying. :)

he is rich already. and now he has fame. so it doesnt bother him anymore.when he created something new in the future , people are going to invest directly because  his name is in it.

I strongly disagree with that. Known leaders behind coins is what brings an unnecessary layer of politics and personality to coins.

Besides, no coins should have leaders.

No.
Typical lottery winners blow through the money in short time.
Set for life is bullshit.
..few people would get millions and handle it properly.

And topic ?
Yeah he will probably kill himself.
Those Russians are hardcore.. sucidal.

When ether drops back down below $1.00 I don't think Vitalik is going to handle it very well.

he won't care one bit!
first of all Vitalik sold a couple of million dollar worth of his coins during the first pump (that was like 10% of his stash) and became rich over night.
then during the second major pump (the recent one) he sold more and became even richer. and still hold a lot of coins (70+ freaking million ether is a lot of dough, you can't unload it on the market over night)

secondly he has (stupidly) claimed in public that he has no faith in ethereum in his tweets. you can find the topic about it in this board also. he clearly said he has invested the money gained overnight into other things.

finally ethereum has always been a stepping stone for him, as all the other altcoins have been for their developers. none of them care about what they make. it is like their resume to get jobs and the recent Russian bullshit with Putin, etc was him applying for a job with the banks. (yeah mind blowing i know)

I think it doesn't matter if he does not work for ethereum , like sataoshi to BTC.

He just needs to eat something  ;D I'm pretty sure my coat rack weighs more than him and they are pretty similar build. It's called a "burger" and will give you energy to keep going, Mr. I-Can't-Believe-It's-Not-Buterin

first of all there are plenty of current and upcoming project depend on ethereum blockchain as well as many multinational companies are using ethereum blockchain to make technology more useful and secure,so ethereum price might decrease some due to bitcoin effect but its is not going anywhere,it will increase more.

I think he would call up the exchanges and they would freeze the coin on his request..
..again.

Or maybe let it tank and him and his cohorts would buy them all up cheap and then..
manipulate the shit out of it like they did before and during it's launch etc.

ETH did not get big because of community or decentralized efforts.
It was posted in here in 2014 and considered scammy and suspicious and a dumb gimmick.
It was then ignored for a couple years but ole Butters wasn't giving up.

He caught on that all you have to so is pour money into it and the investards will come runnin'
"What" it is ..doesn't even matter.

"Aids raping baby murder machine coin" would be no. 2 in crypto if it made all the profiteers BTC profits.
Don't delude yourselves into thinking the thing you are buying matters.
What you are buying is a pump ticket.. kept your receipt ?
