Title: Which ICO Management Software Do You Recommend?
Post by: JollyGood on July 17, 2017, 11:56:15 AM
With all the pros & cons which would be the ICO companies/websites/software you recommend for a new project launch?

Ease of use and reputation are as important as is getting FIAT transferred to a bank account after the ICO ends.

Are there any?

Yes there are a few but they do not ooze confidence but ICO2GO certainly does have most of the pieces of the jigsaw in place. With just a little more work they could be ideal for all ICOs. Here are two listed below but there are a few more:

ico2go.com (http://ico2go.com)
The Good: Very nice UI, easy to understand and user friendly when logged in to the dashboard. All tokens, nodes, blockchain, escrow (literally everything is taken care of) as they do it all for you. Seems very professional. SURETLY are using them for their ICO. I will be keeping an eye on it to see how it goes.
The Bad: The pricing needs to be restructed. Paying a staggering 10% commission on all tokens created and also when removing your incoming funds in order to sell them means project team pays twice. No 'About Us' or 'The Team' page. There is no re-course if they steal the funds and vanish like Paul Vernon a la Cryptsy. Who are ICO2Go? No real company or director/individual details are on their website. No information on who your project team makes an ICO contract with such as an LLC, LTD, shareholder name, address etc therefore who can you try to take to court if they steal from the ICO?
The Pricing:
Option#1: FREE upfront cost and you must pay 10% comission for outgoing transactions (must display ico2go logo)
Option#2: 3 BTC upfront cost. Accept funding in up to BTC/ETH. You must pay 10% comission for outgoing transactions (ico2go logo removed - whitelabel effect)
Option#3: 10 BTC upfront cost. Accept funding in up to 20 cryptocurrencies. You must pay 5% comission for outgoing transactions (ico2go logo removed - whitelabel effect)
Option#4: 25 BTC upfront cost. Accept funding in up to 20 cryptocurrencies. You must pay 2% comission for outgoing transactions (ico2go logo removed - whitelabel effect)

https://www.startico.net (https://www.startico.net)
The Good: The licence free pricing structure is acceptable if is a one way transaction, not charging the project team twice (once when receiving funds and once when withdrawing)
The Bad: All links to their social media are diverted to free website company 'Wix'. No 'About Us' or 'The Team' page. Who are Startico? No real company or director/individual details are on their website. No information on who your project team makes an ICO contract with such as an LLC, LTD, shareholder name, address etc therefore who can you try to take to court if they steal from the ICO? Does not look a professional company at all.
The Pricing:
Option#1: Use for free and pay only 0.2% per transactions
Option#2: Buy a license for $6 000 or 2.5 BTC  0% transaction fees

A very big thumbs up to you guys. You took a little constructive criticism, embraced it and made the changes...

So here is an update... startico.net have removed all social media links but have added an about us/the team page. It gives some background in to real people but does not explain the name of the entity/company any project team will enter in to a contract with for an ICO. Startico.net still needs to clarify their legal status (individual, group, shareholder, LLC, LTD, PLC) and also which jurisdiction they fall under (Russia or Ireland) because they list both. These are all things for potential ICO project teams to look at before deciding who to choose or to go it alone.

Does startico have the same all-in-one-setup-solution as ICO2GO where nodes, blockchains, token and everything else is taken care of? Then they need to elaborate on it a little more, highlight it a little more on their website.

Not to flame here, but should you start an ICO if you don't have guys that can do that for you? You should hire those experts and have them on payroll, not outsource to those sites herein recommended. Not that I believe they have a poor service, but if you want to start an ico and don't know how to set up same services internally, it's like starting a bakery, not knowing how to make the dough.
If a good dev/ico experienced guy see your plan and like it, you can pay most of the cost in tokens, like stock optios for key personnel doing an IPO.

Just my 2 cents.

Thanks for posting. The idea was to have a project team that will handle the nodes and blockchain etc and whole set up but still the ICO needs to be managed as funds will be coming in, they need to be exchanged for tokens and they need to be released too once the ICO has ended.

The idea of the thread was to bounce ideas of each other to find out which is the best software or website out there and how their UI varies along with its fees and so on. I started the thread with two hoping others would give inputs and list their recommended ones too.

I heard there are companies that help you with the ICO and take only percentage from your future incomes.
Do you heard of it?

I believe both I listed in the OP have options to either pay upfront and pay no future percentages or pay nothing upfront and pay using percentages.

Ico2go and startico have token creation and blockchain/node creation included in their fees but Dimcoin for example uses coinpayments because of their commission rates.

It has a simple sign up process on their website where you only enter a name, address, telephone number and amount to invest then click to continue. After that you end up on coinpayments merchant page where you asked to select which coin to invest. Does that mean the Dimcoin team then manually add tokens/coins to their investors wallets? This might take a long time to add manually if there are hundreds of investors. Does anyone know?

Well, I believe there must be a link between the mobile number and name of the canditate and the payment system and this is how they could be verifying it else manula transactions can no way support their fast structure.

Sherlock, thank you for your input  :D

So to explain again, I do not want to pay commission to an ICO management company and prefer to keep funds it in house where possible. I think using an escrow and paying commission is not what appeals to me when there must be ways of doing it to save money.

If I go with an ICO company then the work is complete but if I go alone, raising funds and having the escrow has been sorted out but am asking about which company people recommend for creating tokens and how to connect those tokens to the investors (wallets) automatically rather than manually one by one.

Thank you for the information but there is no real detail about whois the people behind the project are. Bestrate Ltd (as shown on their Twitter page) does not exist when a company search was made. There is no information about the people or company behind "Bestrate" and as mentioned "Bestrate Ltd" does not exist. For me, this has scam written all over it. Even if the previous token sales it claims are genuine it is normal for scams to trade in a way close to as properly as possible before scamming when the prize gets bigger.

Thanks for putting them forward, they might be genuine but I think they are fraudsters and I am not going anywhere near them

There are real people standing behind the project. You can find their Linkedin profiles at bestrate.org/team (https://bestrate.org/team/).
The projects that already use our tool are also real, you can find them in the "Our clients" section by the link I sent in the previous message.
The company is registered at Mahé, Seychelles.

So if the funds raised from an ICO get hacked/stolen how does the project get refunded? In various countries around the world there would be ways of getting some form of compensation or hold the ICO management team to account.

This is a good question, thanks for asking.

Our service has no access to your funds. The whole process looks like this.
A user wants to buy your tokens with cryptos or fiat. Our service finds the platform (Simplex, Bittrex, Changelly, etc.) with the best exchange rate to switch the money into the currency you select to gather funds (usually it's ETH).
The converted money is transferred from an exchange platform to your ICO wallet directly.
Thus the money passes the following instances: user's wallet - exchange platform - your ICO wallet. So even if BestRate gets hacked it will not affect your funds.

Moreover, you get all KYC covered as you get money from an exchange platform and not from the user directly.

The widget mentioned on the website, is it specific to Wordpress or HTML code that is copied and pasted in to the customer website?

Such services as ico2go and startico offer a complex solution for launching your ICO.
Our service is oriented on only one ICO aspect - receiving payments.

Here in our BestRate team, we have the following opinion on this matter.
When you launch a new product into the market, you can try to do everything at once and do it badly, or concentrate on one thing and do it well.

We have around 20 people working in BestRate (12 full time and 10 part-time) and even with such a big team, we don't have enough time to bring to life all that we want to.

Answering your 2nd question, our widget generates an HTML-code which you can insert anywhere on your website.

Hello,
We had worked with icoadm.in and we had a really great experience. They gave us a really good offer for an all-inclusive dashboard (integrated KYC, smart contract, referral program to name a few). They have a wonderful team of devs and customer support which worked closely with us till the end of our ICO and even after the ICO ended they were happy to help us in doing the winding up works. In all, we highly recommend this company. You can check their portfolio at https://moonrate.io/agencies/icoadmin and also compare them with the other agencies and take a decision of your own. After all for a successful ICO, you will need a trustworthy, bug free dashboard.

With all the pros & cons which would be the ICO companies/websites/software you recommend for a new project launch?

Ease of use and reputation are as important as is getting FIAT transferred to a bank account after the ICO ends.

Still your project is open,

I suggest the best ICO development company ICOCLONE who provides the services as per the requirements.

Just Ping in WhatsApp:919500575285 or mail them us hello@icoclone.com

In my opinion any website that makes you request a demo rather than see it with a simple click is one to avoid

There is nothing in the footer to state if this is a company and what is the company address. Does not look trustworthy until it changes and becomes more transparent.

Yes you are right, we should update the website and add a footer with company information, and we will do it. Until that, please feel free to check our Linkedin profiles.
