Title: Motivation of bounty program managers
Post by: kassia on July 17, 2017, 01:13:40 PM
Have you ever met not standard ways to motivate bounty program participants?

Very often local forums are not as active as they could be. Any ideas on how to integrate proactive approach motivation into a bounty program?

Thanks

If we put aside the conventional financial aspect, i.e. sort of standard profit for bounty campaign participants, I heard of attempts to introduce some less material incentives such as including them in project credits as well as promising special gifts and opportunities that would be available in the future as part of your core project. However, I do not know whether these brought any real success, so you should treat it with a critical eye.

At the same time, some more of special bonuses for the earliest participants might be a good idea if the economics of your project can afford that.

Hum, not really, neither am I sure they've actually implemented that in the end. I'll ask my friend who allegedly mentioned that in a conversation with me a couple of months ago, and I'll PM you with details if you want. Indeed, that's a good question all in all.

When talking about campaign bonuses, let's look at the potential of the project that organizes that campaign. A good project will always get everyone's attention right from the start, which is what motivates people to participate in the campaign.

Motivated by  trust motivated by people wanting to appear to be trusted and they are not as motivated by scams it is motivated by hard work and is motivated by a ICO Administration about everything.

As i know, bounty campaign is a PR event when a project is being promoted by its participants and supporters. Usually, the term “bounty campaign” is being used in ICO (Initial Coin Offering) crowdsale campaigns. Participation in such campaigns is rewarded with blockchain tokens offered for sale during an ICO. A reward fund volume for bounty campaign members is usually 1–2% of all ICO investments collected. Therefore, each user can participate in a bounty campaign and get a reward.

Bounty-programs are quite the same in majority of cases, I don't see anything one-of-a-kind bounty progs. Everything is concentrated on Social media and that's all

If the participants believe in the project, motivating them to participate is axiomatic. The problem is with many scummy ICO's floating nowadays it is very difficult for forum members to discern which is legitimate and which ones are scams. I always choose the projects I promote carefully, because I will hate to discover at a  later date that they are a scam, and I helped promote them.

I think a good way to motivate is prize money for best something. Like the best post, a top blog for this week, most liked Facebook post, best-most retweeted post.. etc.
If you give money bonus, you will attract for sure more quality and motivate from participants to give best from yourself

This is a great point, indeed, but how do you understand that the project is a scam? Is it just a gut feeling or a number of bullet points you might share?

contests and generous rewards for participation always motivates one to contribute meaningfully, also needs a realty check on scams
