Title: Bitcoin transfer stuck. Since forever.
Post by: Anchovies on July 17, 2017, 02:15:45 PM
Greetings,

I made the mistake of sending some bitcoin without a fee from an old computer I have.

I was hoping it would return to my wallet after a few days since its unconfirmed, so I could resend with a fee, but its still unconfirmed.

Sending address is 1Ng4MgfJWKt8z6nF9GYobKxtmvi1jxPDa

Recieving address is 1A59hEDnbMSAd318pUWDN83Yw7BkZtCunH

unconfirmed since 05/07/2017

Bitcoin version 0.3.21 Beta

Any help would be much appreciated

Contact quickseller (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=pm;sa=send;u=358020) or macbook-air (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=pm;sa=send;u=16114) and offer a small payment to get it confirmed. They don't charge much and can both get f2pool to confirm zero fee transactions. Macbook-air runs the pool and quickseller has access to it.

I getting replies that this transaction is not visible and that I need the "txid" or "raw transaction"

Not sure how I find those using bitcoin version 0.3.21

Not many option in that wallet it seems.

PS. this is a transfer between two wallets that I own. Im just trying to get bitcoin from one wallet, on an old computer I own, to another.

There are paid accelerator services on the web. VISBTC's is free and BTC.com have one with little bit expensive

I see no transaction associated with any of my addresses mentioned above using https://blockchain.info

But my sending wallet still says 0/unconfirmed

So According to Kranga I can "undo" the transaction by resyncing the blockchain. How do I actually do that on bitcoin version 0.3.21? I see no consol or helpful options in the options menu in it.

The receiving wallet I'm using is bitcoin core. it has more option in it

I don't see any transaction on any of the addresses quoted by you above.

Also, how are you sending coins from the address 1Ng4MgfJWKt8z6nF9GYobKxtmvi1jxPDa if there is 0 BTC on that address? Something is wrong with your wallet or you are getting the wrong info.

Can you take a screenshot of the "Transactions" tab on your wallet and post here?
