I missed the largest eth pumps and bought at 0.03 for long-term.

Bought at 0.05 and still keeping some of it. Luckily I sold the rest at 0.143.

So still hoping that it will bounce back or more as I don´t expect to fall beyond my buy price

I brought my first few eth during last month at around 312$ but I'm regretting that decision because the price has lowered way below my expectations and I could have brought it for a much lower price. I should have know that the ethereum bubble was going to bust soon sigh.

I will be honest, I am very late to know about Ethereum. I am familiar with cryptocurrencies about 1 and half years after Ethereum hit the market. But since I know the smart contracts technology and how precious is eth, I start buy it regularly, monthly. No doubt, eth have a future.

Ive just bought some in few days ago when eth turns to .07 i think because it is the best time to buy. And now eth has been 0.08 again , i have been gained more than 0.01 .buy when it is low

I will always regret not buying ETH back when it was just 8$  ;D

The cheapest I ever seen ETH was $120 as I'm fairly new to the market  ;D

I bought some at the end of 2016 or early 2017, I wasnt a great supporter of ETH so just wanted to take advantage of the market's pumping. Did know that it will shoot up as lots of hype was there in that time. Sold for a good profit and just waiting for the right time now to buy more again.

Yes me too, i buy etherum when the price geting down, but now i hold my etherum because the price still low, i hope next month the price increase so i make some profit.  ;D

The first time I bought Ethereum is when the price of Ethereum falldown to $6 after ICOs The Dao got attack from hacker and loss a huge number ETH. Very sad when that time I not have more funds for holding ETH in long time, just after have x2 profit, I sold all and never buy again until now

Maybe I will wait after the bitcoin hardfork. The market stabilized but I will wait to buy ETH

LOL, who cares. most of the altcoins are shitcoins and scam, and not a single person cares. all they care about is the pump and dump and how much they are going to get pumped.
in case of ETH, the pumpers are strong, nobody can deny that and if you could get in early you have multiplied your bitcoin a lot and if you missed it and got in late you have lost a lot because the pumpers dumped on your head.

I also made a topic before here asking people to define what they all think was a scam.
I made sure to let them know i was not going to lecture them etc.
I simply wanted the community to TELL me ..what they thought it meant.

What i got from that was..

Scam = coin i did NOT make money from.
Legit = profits.

The reality is these fucking morons in crypto do not understand that a scam can be profitable.
It simply does not compute.. or it does but they are playing dumb ..for ROI's.
Which is highly scammy and predatory deceitful behavior.

Well, i don't know, if you think eth will be like bitcoin then yes, but bitcoin is way more popular being the 1st mover, so i don't know

This is not a good time to buy since there is a probability of ETH going way lower than we see now, because the pumps that happened were just powered by speculation, and as well as successful ICO's that gathered ETH in their crowdsale. I bought the ETH I have held when it was 0.01 btc and I don't regret it now that I have sold it way back when ETH was at 0.14 btc each.

I bout ethereum this year becuae of only reason to send my tokens to market like bittrex but unfortunately the holding bitcoin started to gain its value and now i am keeping as it is and planning to collect some more.

i bought a couple of months back when it was usd 400 and it is still usd400. it dropped quite badly at some time and it gave me a heart attack. i dont think it will be viable unless you can hold it for long.

now with the attack from china's neo coin which is their own ethereum, i feel chances of it rising like mad are over

Bought it at $8 in november just to try for €50.
Hitting mysef now.... but those 50€ are now €1500 so i will still hodl

Wow, you did a good deal, but why are you still holding? Do you believe that you can still repeat the same feat of the past?

It's funny I was trying to buy ethereum ETH from April 2017 when ethereum price was about 30$ to 40$ but  I was waiting for some dump finally I end upto buying coins at the price of 190$ even I feel it's worth for long term holding.

Should have sold it at $370 it was more than €2000 worth. Then came the dip :(
I still think it can raise to the old price, but this is what everyone also said about Bittcoin... it wil never be more then $500. Look at where we now

I believe in the future of Ethereum, even if you bought now for long term, it may be profitable. It is not about Ether only, the total crypto marketcap supposed to increase due to the wide adoption, and always Ether and Bitcoin have the biggest parts.

I first bought ETH in July 2016 when price was around $10 / unit but I still believe that it is worth buying it now ($300).

More and more people are interested into cryptos either because blockchain is getting very popular (and no longer restricted to pure technology enthusiasts) or because they hear a lot about people making fortunes out of it. From a newcomer perspective, the key drawback of XTC is its current price ($4300) - quite deterrent if you want to invest only a few amount. You might double or triple your initial investment but you'll never get rich. So the newcomer (who wants to get rich within a few days) will look up at the current crypto ranking and he'll decide to invest in crypto number 2: ETH. Why? Cheaper than XTC, plenty of literature which is quite an advantage when you do not know anything about crypto (compare to XRP, LTC, NEO, NEM etc), big potential and quite well integrated. If newcomers decide to invest in ETH, it's good for the community and the price of ETH.

I bought 770 ETH for 10$. And sell it when it was 38$.I do not regret. In that past time decision was correct for me, because I was need fiat. And I could not keep my Ethers in that past days. Oh well, thats live we always need money for birthday,for rent, for bills, for kids, for parents etc..

I bought 3 months ago, and now This is not a good time to buy, because there is a possibility eth will be much lower than we see now,

These past few months I have not bought anything, just follow the signature project from ico, as its ETH price will progressively according to that I investigate.

I will keep it until 2020 I will sell it I think then ETH will reach 2000 $

I really regret that I sold ETH at $ 250

I just bought ETH 0.1 a couple of weeks ago..

I bought some per 200 $

Now its around 320-330 $

this is the problem with newcomers and altcoin. you always fall for what the internet tells you or usually get emotional when it comes to altcoins.

if you want to make profit you only need to follow one advice:
... buy when the prices are low, usually after a huge dump or after a long time of low price and accumulation phase which indicates a future pump
... sell when the prices went up high, usually after a huge pump or after a considerable amount of rise when the rise slows down.

what you shouldn't do is
... buying after the pump into the bubble (like what you did)
... selling way too late when your losses became huge (like what you did) you should have dumped as soon as the drop began.

and remember the only coin worth holding is bitcoin, the rest of them don't have much of a future.

First I have bought bitcoin for like $3000, then I exchanged it to Ethereum and I started investing into ICOs. So I bought my eth with bitcoin, the price in dollars was like 300$ per 1 eth. I think eth, is just the best tool for investors, because it gives you ability to invest into decentralized apps.

I am also doing like that, buy at price down, and hold for waiting price up until I will get profit, and sell

One of the decisions I still regret till this day was not buying ETH because of my indecisiveness. I admit I could not do anything about bitcoin because I came late but for ETH, I knew when the price was 11$ then went to 7$ but now, it seems its not going to touch that again. So, I am not intending to buy because its now beyond my reach and would be on the look out for another one.

I regret not selling me eth on 0.14 BTC rate, I thought it'll go up but rather it decreased. Not to worry, I invested them in ICO's and got profit. I still have a hope in eth and it'll rise back and cross it's previous tops.

Yes, I also missed many opportunities that were in sight. I think in the coming year ethereum will experience the pump again, so in this year I also buy it, hope they will experience a lot of pump.

Actually I just bought an Ethereum coin because at first I dislike this coin and was so into Bitcoin but then when I realized some altcoins could actually make me profit as much as Bitcoin so I bought other coins and one of which was this coin Ethereum and I never regretted buying this coin.

I bought ETH last 3 months but converted it into BCH last month. I tried my luck in BCH since it is the latest altcoin from BTC. I don't regret that decission since BCH pump high these days. I am planning to invest in ETH again this coming days I am just waiting for the payment from my current campaign in the next round once it arrived I will convert it into ETH. ETH is a good investment because it is stable on the market.
