Title: What happened to SONM?
Post by: andrei56 on July 18, 2017, 11:13:42 PM
SONM was an ICO in which I was interested to get in but I did not, however to my surprise when I checked SONM in coinmarketcap.com I see the price of the coin has plummeted, what happened? Why? And what was the ICO price of the coin? This to get a better understanding of the dump.

It's a combination of many things:

- one of the founders deserted the project
- bad management of ico bounties
- lack of communication leads many to believe the whole project will be deserted
- incomprehensible whitepaper and roadmap
- investors cut their losses and dumping before token is totally worthless

project however has a lot of potential if it reaches the final product, but many believe it will be deserted by then

It is for all those reason that I sold all my tokens.
I do also believe the project will be deserted in the near future.

I never tried to get hook to that project since I don't really believed their project to rise up on this industry since the one i see is this coin will just gonna dump if this one will be added on exchangers, but if the devs have solid plan about distribution I'm sure the bounty dumping will be controlled like what stratis dev do and look what now stratis is one of the potential coin that has huge price at this moment.

Not good to hear that the founder abandon the project, the business model is good and i have high hopes for this project. Hope the rest of the team buck up and don't let the investors down.

I have a great feeling that someone is driving down the price on purpose so they can purchase more at cheaper price. I agree the dev team could have better communication but it seems like they are trying to respond to people now. Most people who are complaining are bounty hunters. They  are not true believers of the project like investors. I think the dev team is smart to focus on building the product and let the Beta release speak for itself. I'm bullish on Sonm. Contratrian can be  very rewarding. Just be patient. BTW I invested in Sonm knowingly I could lose it all but it's worth the risk.

Stop formulating FUD guys. Some coins are starting their charts going down. But after this Bitcoin correction SONM will soon pump like hell. I believe by December the price will reach 5X. This is a huge project with back with high profile investors. Dont worry everything will go right. Wait for it on Bittrex!

Actually, This project is very great but It needs some time for increasing its prices. According to me, The main reason of its low prices is not entering popular/biggest vol. exchanges. When SONM enters Bittrex, The prices will increase. For that reason, Going prices is sufficient to buy SONM. Good luck then.

When things look too good in the whitepaper, one must ask himself why such a good project only happens now and by a bunch of unknown people. When buying ICO, one should really invest in the people/devs, not the project itself.

sonm does have an active dev and the last time I saw dev streaming on youtube. but I think they are bad, they don't care about the current price. just need more patience in this matter. because sonm has a nice project .

Right, I still have a sonm about 1000 snm.
I have not sold it, the current rate is very low, only dev can answer this problem. I will wait for sonm to enter bittrex. All altcoin are being tested, due to the issue of 1st August.
Everything will be alright. SONM will reach the price of 10K sat.
