What's "something big" for all poker players?

What is that, that you're going to innovate in the poker industry?

Well, I guess everyone would like to play with profit, but that's impossible since there's the same number of people at the table and most profits go to 1 or 2 people  :D

SNGs are fun if they're free or low entry, Cash games are the usual thing people play I think? It's just a simple cash bet, nothing complicated :D

For me poker is still gambling. Though it is a sport for other similar to how things went with e-games being recognized as sport nowadays. I think it is still gambling since you are still risking money for money. That is basically what gambling is. It maybe a sport, because there is an aspect of being professionally placed.

Nowadays in poker most important is to be mentally strong, have patience and excellent bankroll management. Otherwise you are doomed. Most of the players are learning perfect plays according to Game Theory with board solvers. But still struggle in their mental game.

Probably a new poker site, or some poker tournament.  I also think that this will be a tips and hin on how to play poker but it seems it is more of a project going to launch. Is there an ICO for this?


Well it is established that poker is a gambling game, though it is different from dice game because it is a mixed of strategy and chance game.  And it is established that gambling games always risk money but other promoter establishes tournament to turn poker as a sports game (player vs. player elimination game).

Well yeah, it is different since dice is just a game of chance were you roll then wait for the results.
Poker is completely different since the players use their knowledge, skill and luck to better play it.
This is also why it became a sport. Though it is still questionable if it is indeed one. Well that is how it works now.

There where many bitcoin poker sites, remember at least one making an 'ICO' and it failed.

Seals with Clubs still operating, but there doesn't seem to be much market for exclusively bitcoin poker.

Well, you see, that's why I asked what's something big for all poker players.
A new poker website isn't something big for all poker players, it sounds like some innovations are announced.
This was a question for OP, have I gotten it right or it's a general poker site?

Poker is my game....I've supported several poker platforms.  I think that what online poker really needs is a provably fair method of confirming that the shuffle is random all the way through, a method by which collusion is prevented, a fool proof technique to eliminate multi-accounting, and a process by which pokerbots are discovered prior to their involvement.  Good luck....whoever solves all those problems will be famous!

As a gambler and a poker player being fair is the most important thing at all. We cant really remove on our minds about the doubts of multi-accounting and pokerbots involvement and as you said i would really love to see on how they would eliminate or detect those things. I havent still see such situation since ive been playing poker for sometime and i didnt notice anything unusual stuffs.

I think it will still gonna be the same as before, I think it is not possible to detect the multi accounts that most people have in this kind of gambling game, but I am looking forward for this project to be successful, and giving something to the players as a compensation for registering first is a great hit for most poker players,

Our project is made by long year experience players and we aim to build up a pokerroom that make the difference. A new kind of pokerroom, but also with the basic standards everyone need.

Hi there! Crypto/blockchain multiplayer poker still has a lot of room to grow so I'm curious to see what kind of innovation your project will bring! For me, what's really important is a system that monitors collusion - players working together secretly or even bots to fill out seats. I think allowing people to form teams is fine if they declare it first, or the system allows teams but not at the same tables, for example.

Bot using or team collusion play is a absolute NOGO in online poker.
It's a basic part. And a hard one to solve also.

The critical key to success in texas holdem is patience , having a bit of experience reading the cards , knowing your chances and not bluffing or bluffing very rarely. Usually if you have these skills you will come out as a winner in  texas holdem most of the time. The truth is though very very few persons have such patience and virtues.

There many factors to have succes in online poker, but at least its possible. In other "gambling" games its not.
This is why poker is different and more a sport than gambling.

As an online Poker player, the most important factor for me is to make sure that all my co-players within the table is a legit person and not a bot. It is my most concern of all things in poker and until I don't know how to verify it unless they are chatting in the chatbox. ::)

Well you can be playing with a bit while your opponent chats with you. It's just difficult to verify from he other side unless you use video chat perhaps that's the only way and I think that's difficult to achieve at this time of online poker gambling development.

Not the most important thing, but since it was brought up, re: bots, I actually like playing against bots - as long as it isn't a superuser bot that knows everyone's hole cards. A player created bot however, mmm... yes, please. Once you finger out how the bot plays, you just take their money.

the last choice for playing gambling for me is poker,beside other game like rolls,dice or simple game,i think poker need effort,excercise and some skill to do the best in a game,and i just playing poker with friend,without any money,just some punishment when i lost,did someone here dont play poker like me?

Well, the bots are getting better and better.  They're not like the old script monkey bots....their beginning to use your own data against you using AI and shared hand history databases....Careful playing against the next generation bots, especially the botnet bots which work in collusion!

Yes so it is. But the problem is, that the most players are not able to identify or play +EV against a bot. So it also have to be fair for all, good and less good players.
So allways fight against bots.

The only pokerroom that's able to prevend bots and collusion atm is Pokerstars. This is also why they was going to be the number one.
But after Amaya buyed Pokerstars, they transformed to a Online-Casino with greedy politics.

They kill themselves.

Fast and unhindered withdrawals are very important to me.  If the poker room is a cryptocurrency based platform, then there should be no reason for withdrawals to require unnecessary documentation, nor should withdrawals take an inordinate amount of time to be processed.  The withdrawal processes are a key factor for me in determining which sites I play on.

In my opinion is that the site should be first genuine as have seen in so many poker sites where they make sit their bot to loot the users. Apart from that their security should be strong so that no one can cheat with games. Apart from that their should be regular tournaments to enjoy it when getting bored of playing poker.

You can't take such sites like this serios. No big site do that, trust me.

What's on my eyes are sports betting and casino, but I do really like to learn more about poker. I also do hope it's an interesting game to play on.

Yes as a poker player I also think like that, it is strange to see there is one username in many rooms which makes me think that they are bots because of that i prefer to play in the tournament because the opportunity to play for one person only once.

Judging by your post, I'm expecting something big and not just another poker site.

Expectations in a poker room : Normal and fast modes for slower and faster calls/checks/folds. Some music in the background would be great (I've never come across any site with this feature)

I personally prefer playing SnGs all the way and when I'm playing on a smaller bankroll I prefer All-In tables to make it fast.

But you can turn on your music out of the software!? I don't know, but for me that don't make sense. Also think about the extra costs for licenses for the music. No way. In the end it's paid by the users.

Poker makes the difference, cause you not playing against the house - you play against other players. This is why it is a sport for many people.

i am considering poker as a sport even if i don't know how to play. i don't know what i am expecting from pokerroom because i am not playing poker, maybe later when i meet my friend which is familiar with poker, i will asked him. if there is a guide or at least tutorial for this game, i think i want to learn how to playing poker with easy.

Remember, with DICE you will lose lonmgterm. With poker you CAN win longterm. This is the big different.

Poker is interesting because our greedy nature not only always leads to the edge, so we cannot underestimate all the people who are at the poker table. Existing social elements make us more comfortable playing and able to bring greater confidence when 1-2 people lose in the game. This social element that makes it different than other gambling, analysis can be read quickly through the opponents around your table.

The easy access on playing poker can makes us enjoy it more, we can play as long as we wanted as much as we have coins that we can bare to lose.And that social media is interesting too since we can play with friends which is an additional enjoyment.

Many firms go with their workers to play poker together. This has a postive effect to the team and makes fun.

Collusion is detectable.

Usually i play sports betting, and i feel no shame to say that i can't play poker. Many time i try to play it but i couldn't play it. For me, it is genius game and only intelligent gamblers play poker easily and i am not one of them. But i like sports and i have won in sports betting many time, in my thinking to win in sports we need skills, experience and interest on sports than we could win in it.

It's all about lerning. There not only genius people play good poker.

Well, may be you are right, not only genius people play it but if you have interest on it than you could play it. Otherwise, most of the other games are here where we could easily play and try to win. But instead of it, i don't know why i can't play it, even i try to play and learn about poker.

It takes only one day to lern the game and a lifetime to lern the game.  8)

Besides the basic that all users like, freerolls, good tournaments with added money, satellites to access those big tournaments, some rakeback, etc etc. I really think that a good interface is very important. Poker is not just luck, it's much more than that, and it's very important to have access to players statistics, so being able to download all your played or viewed hands, and then allowing you to use tracking software to get access to those statistics in play, is very important for me.

That's the plan. Just follow us and help to build up a new kind of pokerroom!

Completely agreed, all of those things are just common which is really being searched on playing poker but as you mentioned is also an important thing which is interface which you can see or access players statistics. Going back in the past when i dont still knew about poker i do really have a hard time on learning it but later on i found out that this game is somehow easy to understand and later on as you play you do learn something new not only on gameplay but also to the players you do fought.

There is NO room that fill up all needs atm. To be the first one - that's the aim.

To know the game rules and how to play it not take much time. but to understand the strategies how to win your game, it takes much time. And you will not learn these things from any article or books. You should experience it in live. So you should play with others and lose your game then only you will learn what all problems you will face in the live game. I do not play poker game, but I am learning now still I do not become a pro in this game.

indeed this is disadvantages from playing poker at online sites because poker online is very vulnerable to rigging and possibly our opponents is the bots or the admin themself but to avoid the problem just like this i think only choose online poker with good reputations with good review from the players

Give free chips LoL. At least little bit of chips not too much. Poker is a gambling spot for me, I really really like poker. In a sense of many ways. It is important for me because poker somewhat build me. I really like playing that game, dead serious.

In practice though, it's only going to be detectable by the bigger sites that have enough recources to stop it entirely.
I can imagine that it's pretty easy to circomvent detection on all the smaller sites that are running with a much smaller team.

I guess the smaller sites possibly also have some minor collusion detection options to their disposal, but nothing that can't be beaten by people who are smart enough to trick the system.

Players running bots on their accounts is also something that's going to affect online poker on a much bigger scale in the future, again mostly on smaller sites though.

Playing this poker game in new sites is always dangerous as you people said if the admin or bot is our opponent then we can not beat them we will lose our money. Here we will not get a chance to show our talent because our game is not in our hand it's with 3rd person. So when ever play poker game only play in well-reputed site.

Maybe a big point why the most new site fail.

Poker is really hard game i have played it with few of my friends and being the expert won most of the important rounds but unlike other gambling option poker is surely not a easy one you always need to be sure about your next move it's more like a chess sort of game so not everyone can win with poker

Everybody was starting with playing with friends. It's a community game.

Poker is one easy game to play because you just wait for the card you got but there are some things you should know like three of kind, fullhouse, etc that's all you need to know for able to play poker.

even if the site is big, i would never playing gambling with big money because i know the risk and i don't want to makes me to get loss too much money. maybe i can only use small money to playing gambling and spend that money with 3 times of games and after that, i can leave the places without spend all of my money.

It is not easy as you think especially for those who still new to poker, we need to practice many times to understand all poker's rules. Knowing about winning cards only is not enough for players because it is not that simple unless you are going to play video poker.

I think that gambling game using the mind of genius and smart is to play poker because the game needed serenity to produce a game that makes a profit. poker is very important for the life of me in a game of gambling because the game is very easy and straightforward. But I don't like the sport and I often lost the bet because it cannot be predicted, in my mind to win in sports requiring expertise.

It is fail just because they are not giving attention they just care about their selves not about therefore they are failing there are a lot websites which is passed so many times. Because they are giving time to projects that's why so i would like to tell you that you should go for knowledge instead commenting because knowledge will help you that why websites are failed.

Poker for me is sometimes gambling and sometimes sports , because poker is a mind game and it is thrilling especially if your opponent is also good at it . I used to play online and something in a free game online when i have no money fro me to bet . I am not too looking forward for any profit ,i play until its satisfy my mood.

yes indeed that's true that my friends has complained while playing poker at the particular sites and at the beginning of play he felt suspicious because his opponents always get good cards untill end of game but i think every poker sites are risky to play because we never know those sites cheating us or not but maybe it will different if we playing poker with physical casinos against other people

I think if we are talking about big poker sites, then that should not be a problem. As long as they have many players they just don't care if we win or lose, because they will get their rake, and users are playing with their own money, so it's only profit for them. They don't have to risk that, by trying to cheat you with bots. Of course if it is a new site, or a site with a low player base, then you might get suspicious. The problem is, that at least with BTC, I don't think we have poker rooms with a large player base.

Poker is both for me, gambling and sports. I know there will be people that will be against to us who are saying that poker isn't sports into our eyes. Don't worry about them they don't care on what we feel and on how great it is to gamble with this game.


I'll share when I was still not in poker, I just learned it alone. Watching those players and observing what are the strong cards. I find it a good way to play if you have good experience. In that case you can play for profit if you have enough experience.

Most of online pokerrooms are not made by poker players, thats the problem!

You might be right there are some old casinos, and they are running from many years. So they already in profit and they don't want to cheat people to make money. The house edge is enough them to make a profit. Maybe those sites will not cheat players, and you will find only legit players. But we can not able to guess which site is good and which is not only the real experience will tell us.

Still some legit players who are best in poker game had been  killed in Las Vegas. Some online players being part of some long run poker site has been blocked bitcoin related gambling site.
We need gambling site which is been highly used and good for everyone.

For me, poker is a way to have a great time in the company of your friends. Although we play for money, we have small sums. I also feel relaxed after working week.
