I do think so, yes! Because the long term trend of BTC/USD has changed direction today. We got above the 2400 barrier. Now that the trend has changed, all other coins will follow soon too.

The right time was last weekend really.

Actually this is a bit late, but if you want to buy it also still not too late. Lately indeed all altcoin have dump, but for now all the prices gradually rise again. If you aim to make short-term or long-term investments is still not too late. News circulating altcoin will experience pump in mid-August

Most of the alt-coins are still low, waiting to start the railly.

The say that the best time is always now, I think he very best is the time earlier say last couple of weeks when the market is bleeding or in red. When the time the market recovers, then you got a profit. But for long term, you can always hold until your desired selling price is met.

when bitcoin goes down, altcoins crash, but the opposite is not always true. meaning when bitcoin goes back down nobody buys back altcoins, they buy bitcoin with their money (most of the time).

Yes. That is your opinion because you are clueless that segwit is already accepted.

It is meaningless to say the right time of the past since you can change the decision. If you think one alt-coin is promising, the best way to buy cheap coins is participating in the ICO crawdsale. If you just missed it, you can buy now.

I think you can buying now with altcoin in lowest price long time and can't continue falldown, but in present not have altcoin as my tell. All market are green again and maybe are bull trap all. Waiting the memes buying stop and shopping when the bloodbath happening I think better than

I think it's not that too late since the price is getting back up since it was down last few days. You can still buy now and hold them as what you are planning for either a long-term or short-term investments. I think the bitcoin market is pumping again you can buy now because it is not that too high enough then hold it till your target price hit right. Just choose a good alt-coins to buy for your future preferences and more investors will continue to support for it if it looks so promising.

I think it's a good time to buy alt-coins. A lot of alt coins are showing potential. My brother earned a lot because of this. He had a 50% profit holding his alt coin. Who knows how high will some altcoins value increase. It's better to buy when it is in it's cheapest price.
