SHIFT is working a bit different,
ETH more to apps and smart contract but later the SHIFT development may also include current ETH capability.

I personally predict that SHIFT will move higher and it ll be used by many people,
we need a decentralized web/internet.

I'm not aware of any Ethereum hack lately so I need to check if their is one. And replace ETH with what? Shift? I haven't heard of it as well sorry. And I don't think it can displaced ETH as the no. 2 crypto right now. I think you need to stop all the schilling here. They are already alot of shills here so better change your strategy dude. Ethereum is hacked its really downtrend for ether  and also the project like Coindash hacked their ethereum address and lost around 7 million i think Waves is the next best platform instead of ethereum.

It's nothing to do with Ethereum. It's about a vulnerability was found on the Parity, it is really bad but everyone should diversify, I don't think something is completely safe.

Waves should be more popular if really something happens to ETH.

Thats true if ethereum was hack, waves will be most use. And more traders will invest in waves thats what I think though. Waves can be the next ethereum in this case.

Waves has a good future because they did well this year but I don't think ETH will become useless and will let investors
lose their money, that's just not gonna happen. The hack will just likely a wake up call to improve their system, I still trust ETH as most
of the tokens I have are ethereum based.

In my opinion, you are merely promoting Shift, did they pay you to make this post? Ethereum is widely used by bounty programs for their coins/token so many bitcoiners are using them. You may be hacked if you click a link of phishing site and your private key will be stolen. It maybe the users mistake for not keeping their private key secure and not monitor the site if it is secured one.

The hack that he mean wasnt really directly on ETH network but just the Parity wallet had been hacked which do have huge amounts of ETH on it which means prices would really be merely or definitely affected on this situation but talking about ETH network been hacked then its an another story to be told and as you said hes just really promoting Shift and maybe he gotten paid to say such shills. Total noob here but I'm part of the Shift slack because I had some, some time ago, now sold everything.
Anyway the team is very serious and it's even in a strict non-marketing mode, because they're releasing some betas etc.

Probably he's just a scared bagholder hyped up by rising prices.
He's just damaging the project which is actually pretty interesting and totally unrelated to ETH (as far as I know).
