i will be counting and enjoying all the extra cheap coins that i bought from panic sellers 4 days ago and enjoy the >25% discount they gave me.

if they do it again, i will gladly take their coins another time. and in less than 2 months i will be giving a small part of it back to them at a much higher price.

Will grab a cup of coffee and seat back under the sun like nothing will gonna happen since I'm confident that theirs no downfall gonna happen with bitcoins but instead this is the start up of price rising up as many experts predict that price would soar for more later on these months or maybe year. And for now let's just relax and watch for latest news on august happenings.

I'll keep HODLing, watch the graphs, blame the holiday season for not having more money to invest.
For now the graphs tell that Aug 1 will almost certainly not bring a fork. We might still have it in the autumn, so the market uncertainty may not just end in August 1st.

I hear some friends tell me the Holiday of crypto begin from June and will end in begin September. And I checked this time is the time SegWit2x of Bitcoin stable too, if my guess is right, when in last weeks of August, the market will end bearish trend and bounce :)

Bitcoin is the King of all altcoin. So it price will be stable after the August 1 also.But we have to keep all our bitcoin till August 1 or second week of August. I agree your opinion, we are know SegWit2x and split network blockchain just is rumor make market happening panic everywhere, everytime ... With old user Bitcoin as me, Segwit, HardFork, Split BTC to more type ... are not new and I know after crashing, Bitcoin will comeback and breakout to highest price than history

No, they weren't rumours. Segwit2x will now successfully be implemented. Hence, no chain split. Chain split wasn't a rumour either, it was also a possible scenario if Segwit2x wouldn't have activated. But, the good news it Segwit2x is activated and now we will see only growth of Bitcoin. Enjoy the price now. Bitcoin will grow with fast pace now.

I will not sell. All this panic about August 1 seams so exaggerated. It's good to watch what will happen in the next couple weeks but it looks like chances for split are getting lower. And afterwards it could be expected for price to continue to rise so get prepared. But.it would be very interesting to watch the reactions of users in the upcoming period.

You are right under no circumstances it would be advisable to do, Anyone doing  that  would be really crazy, Extremely risky, No matter what certainty somebody think to have to win, Regardless of whether you win or lose, That is something that should not be done, Simply because it puts at risk the place where you sleep, rest, live, etc., And maybe the people who live with you, That's why there are peoples  who repeat until exhaustion: Always invest what you can afford to lose.

Well I have already purchased some bitcoin when it hit 2k and I have secured all my bitcoin in preparation for the hard fork that will mostly likely be happening on August the first.

I would recommend everyone to consider a form of cold storage and I'll list some examples

- Hardware wallets such as ledger or Trevor, but it seems too late at this point
- Use a physical item to store bitcoin.
- Paper wallet which is a document which has your private keys.

I'll just safe keep my coins in a back up wallet thas has a private key and just watch the market.
There's nothing to do now but to keep all your funds secured. Better to be safe than end in nothing.

Buy more and watch what happens if anything HODL is a better option at this point in time or building positions.
If you don't have enough cash then just position for the time when it occurs and the period after and try to enter then.

Buy the dips on the way to 4k this summer

with bitcoin you either act quick and buy it or be left behind. it doesn't matter when and at what price you buy bitcoin, it will always go up.
obviously we are all looking for the cheapest price to buy bitcoin at but we never get everything we want. as you can see price is already about $700 higher than yesterday. if you wait around to see ridiculous prices as some members have been suggesting in the past month (such as $1500) you will never be able to succeed in investing in bitcoin).

to answer your question, i never bother with these deadlines like in 10 days. i always buy bitcoin if i have the money to invest. if i find a dip or possibility of some FUD and a dip in the future i wait a little then buy but i never wait more than it is needed. i prefer buying $200 above the bottom rather than waiting for the bottom to go lower and it never happens and miss that same chance and be forced to buy $400 higher than the previous chance!

Well, currently I have all of my funds distributed in 4 different wallets.
- This wallet has around 30 percent of my funds and it is my emergency fund which I will clean out whenever I have an emergency.
- This wallet is my cold storage with 40 percent of my funds.
-This has around 20 percent and I store all of it in electrum and I use this to do online shopping.
-My mobile wallet which I use whenever making purchases with my mobile.
I need to transfer then all to my cold storage for maximum safety.

Nothing will happen on August 1st, Armageddon just got cancelled by the majority of miners, they accepted New York agreement.
SegWit is now waiting to be activated which will happen after ~300 blocks, and there is not risk it doesn’t activate in time.
People who waited for drama and prepared for a potential BIP148 UASF chain-split will be disappointed.

I don't have to do anything, other than to trade the volatility. I have done my buying at the best possible levels, and thus can sit back and relax watching the price go up big time. People should calm down and keep holding if they aren't planning to trade. Important is that everyone should still withdraw their coins from any sort of service prior to the 1st of August. If you're not withdrawing them, certain services might halt trading, deposits and withdrawals, so better be prepared for that - better safe than sorry.

Most people who are already expecting what will happen by August 1 is either holding on to their bitcoins or waiting for bitcoin to dip again. I'm just chillin' and waiting until this drama ends so we could all move forward and wait until bitcoins price reaches its new ath again after a few months or so.

Well I'm not afraid in august 1 because I just gonna put all my bitcoins in my ledger wallet so it could be secured from there. i don't trust bitcoin bank and other third party btc wallet site. Im just aware on whats going on because i read about the news about segwit that's why its better to keep my bitcoin in my ledger wallet. it's a cheap price to invest you can search it on google.
