HI!

2 questions!

1) Should I invest my money in crypto NOW or should I wait till 1 aug or till i dips again (if) ?

2) Can I keep altcoins (no bitcoin) on Bittrex during the 1 aug fever ?

Everyone has to decide for themselves when to buy in but the markets already picked up a lot the last few days and theres no guarantee it will dip that hard again. I bought back in when it bottomed out last week and il be holding now i think august could be huge for holders but will have to wait and see.

1. It just rose about 100$ in the last hour. So now you have a chance to miss the train and a chance to buy before another dip. Tough choice... Edit: I think that fluctuations should still happen and you'll have your chance, but don't blame me if I'm wrong.
2. Altcoins are not affected by the fork (it looks like even Bitcoin will not be affected), so you can keep it there if you want to trade more. Else, the local wallet is always the best place to store your coins.

I still keep buy now as an additional stackkng,
buy more while still cheaper than couple months ago.

So it is still good to buy now,
If you check the chart, it tends to move upward, next year probably (ways) bigger than now.

1.I don't think it is a good time to invest in cryptocurrency before august 1 if you are too conservative.If you are a risk taker then you can invest money anytime.
2.I think keeping altcoins in Bittrex won't be problem during the August 1 fever.

This is definitly the right moment to buy.
Bitcoin is going moon. Ethereum is going to follow.
Once bitcoin stabilize, buyers will be confident and thus invest heavily their bitcoins into altcoins.
So yeah ... basically, buy alts now, because it's gonna follow bitcoin & ether as soon as they stabilize a little bit.

1. I think that now, well, it might be the best time to invest. But it's all up to you. The price keep going up and up. But it doesn't mean there won't be any fall. You should know the risk.
2. Yes, you can. segwit, fork and all didn't affected altcoin price.

I have plans to buy some coins if the price made a huge drop 2-3 days before 1st of August. Because in a case of hard fork, it's technically possible to 'request' your coins in all blockchains. You just need to have control over your wallet/private keys.

1. In my opinion, It's better to invest right now. There are lots of people that are waiting and want to buy bitcoin after August 1. It will cause Bitcoin and altcoins price to increase very much due to high demand. Do not lose this opportunity to buy before that time.

2. What will happen on August 1 won't affect altcoins ( I mean safety of them not price) . By the way don't forget that using exchanges to keep your cryptocurrencies is not safe and there is no difference between before august 1 and after that.

1. I think if you want safe you can invest after 1 August, but if you have more money you can invest right now, take your own decision by looking at the current market price analysis.

2. Yes your altcoin safe on Bittrex.

I agree, the uncertainty and fear of the unknown has been abated. Market confidence is returning. If you have any project you've been longingly eyeing during the pump period, not is the time to snatch them dirt cheap. This fork is probably the single most important hurdle in BTC future.

Things are definitely turning around now.  Seems all the fud around august 1st was jjst another effort to score some coins cheap again.

I´m in the same position like you. I´m looking to buy some BTC and altcoins also. The price is rising up so I think that I´ll wait until after 1 august. Now it´s late to buy. Hope the price will drop some...

I would wait 2 weeks more to decide.
August is still unpredictable. But i dont think altcoins gonna go up suddenly so i think you ll have enough time to check the prices and analyse.

Personally if you have say £100 I would use £50 to buy coins now and keep £50 incase theres a crash in Aug.
If it rises, then you can just use the other 50 to buy, you made money on the other 50 so happy days.

If it crashes, you still have 50 to buy cheap coins, so happy days.

I think you are right... Even when you believe in the longterm project it is more intresting to buy in a dip.
I predict later today some downfalls.

You should wait until the price of all of the coins gets big dump or big red. you can try to put your bottom order in the market on your interested coin that gives you the more chance to buy cheap coin.

You can try to keep all of your altcoin in the exchange site, but I think the exchange will get an impact for the bitcoin scaling.

I think if we buy bitcoin wait after 1 august, even though bitcoin price back strengthen but there is still doubt (hope it does not happen). I've transferred bitcoins to some coins like ETH, litecoin, Ripple and others.

BIP91 is already being locked in. aug 1 doesn't mean anything. Look at the price of bitcoin, you should have already been buying at 1850. Wait until aug first and pay 4k a coin idiots. you need to read. 2640 usd and rising lol you've missed the train

1. I think you should wait for investment in crypto
2. You can stay there because altcoint is not affected by the fork

I don't sadly when missed the train from $1800 to $2600 in today, because I know it just memes buying and not stable. The price can crash again in next time if BIP148 active will have HardFork and split the network blockchain Bitcoin to 2 network, and you will know in that time the price will falldown or increash =))

You are wrong. It will not split.
Miners don't care about Bitcoin, they care about money. If they think that chain split will have a bad impact on bitcoin price, they will do everything so it doesn't.
The recent Bitcoin panic was all due to miners. They make you think they were not gonna accept segwit to crash the price and buy cheap bitcoins.
Miners filled their bags at $1800-$2000 when noobs dumped.
Now, all of sudden, they accept bip and price is naturally rising. Nice play from them :)

1. Want to buy now or not it's up to you, but I suggest starting now to save btc, because supply from year to year continue to decrease.
2. Yes, you can keep and trade altcoin in any exchanger.

Now the decision is on hand there.

Nice decision but I think you should have had waited for before august 1 there is a chance that there will be a dump at bitcoin price at that time but still it was a nice decision. For the rest of your stash, I can't say nothing else. This is just an advice but sell already when you have a nice return from your investment already on a coin, market is unpredictable and can go down anytime so if you have a nice return already, why not sell? Remember greed is the enemy of all traders.

No one can know clearly the right time to buy but it is obvious that it is now risky to both buy and sell.

Of course now ,  next stop is 4k.. I don't even know myself if I'm being sarcastic or not
