26 Jan 2020 - Dodopool shutting down Dodopool will be shutting down on Jan 30th 2020. Last payment will be made at 23:00 Jan 30th GMT, and there will be no further stratum or payment servers up. Thanks 01 Jul 2018 - Payment system change Some of you probably already realised this but, I have started bunching transactions for payments. This means fewer transactions per payment cycle which allows me to do bunch of stuff. Including checking if a transaction is mined into a block. This means payments are reflected to your account only when they are inside blockchain which should mean virtually no missing transactions. 17 March 2018 What to mine calculations Whattomine calculations are massively wrong. As of this writing they show block time = 5s, which is 30s diff = 1T, which is 7T block reward = 2.85 which is 2.7075 16 March 2018 Mining continues Hardfork applied, mining is safe again now. Payments will be enabled when 24 hour grace period is finished for the hardfork. 16 March 2018 METAVERSE ANNOUNCEMENT Code: About Metaverse Hard Fork 15 March 2018 READ! IMPORTANT! metaverse blockchain is under attack and has multiple chains at the moment. until it is fixed there will be no payments, and I will reset blocks when it is fixed. None of these mined blocks are on the real chain. Missing Payments: Why does this happen? Metaverse Wallet RPC returns a valid transaction ID but fails to add the transaction to mempool. There is no error returned or thrown during the process, so very hard to detect pro grammatically. Good news? This happened less than 10 times for the 15K payments pool made (at the time of writing) so it is very rare. What to do, if I am missing a payment?[ Write a message in this thread with the following information: Account Address: Transaction Id: I will make sure to verify and get back as soon as possible. Transaction rewards Not many pools pay TX rewards at the moment. You can check this by clicking on the block your pool mined and checking its reward on explorer. Dodopool pays all TX rewards. This is what pools are. If you want the whole reward to yourself you should not join a pool and you should go solo mining. This gets even more difficult when you try to estimate metaverse. Because the coin is new and network hashrate is low, and difficulty changes massively like a roller coaster. If you check a few long term miners with around ~500Mh in the website, there are times they earn 6ETP/day and there are times they earn 9ETP/day. I know it is a huge difference, but 2 people throwing 100Gh+ from nicehash effects network difficulty immediately at the moment. About the delay, yes there is a big delay between mining and getting paid this is caused by the 1000 block maturity time of metaverse. This takes anything between 8 to 9 hours depending on network performance. Best to download a wallet for your mined funds to go to so you can track and trace any problems with payment processing. These address maybe used by the attackers hitting the pool and blockchain getting rich fast from other miners effects. Most of my experience also with what i know about nicehash and cloude mining the mine on one site and send rejections to another side know as orphans and when someone finds a block the attacker that's spaming the orphan or rejected shares they get the funds. I may not be 100% correct but that's my experience and interpretation. During the attack the blocks generated by pools were not awarded by the network as the attacker was collecting 99% of the rewards. According to the block explorer the transaction has been paid out successfully but I have no visibility of it in my wallet? Craig Hi Craig, looks like you did all the investigation yourself for me :) Looks like your wallet stopped syncing. I myself don't use a full node wallet on windows. If you have your seed words backed up, you can try deleting mainnet folder, this will force a resync starting from block 1 and will take a few hours. But if you want to go this direction please double check you have your seed words. Hi Bael, There are no ip/rig/port restrictions. You can use any combination as you'd like. Using a higher difficulty port is generally more efficient. My suggestion is use port 8009, check your reported hashrate in the pool after two hours, if it is close to your real hash rate keep using it. Can you please make sure your wallet is synced. or use light wallet. The missing payments issue in the earlier days is gone. I have rewritten whole payment system (since supernova wallet), so nothing gets recorded until the transactions has at least 1 confirmation. This means lets say some sort of critical error happened, which has not happened until now but for arguments sake lets say it did. The payment will never get recorded so your balance will stay same. I will loose the coins that are not recorded and not the miners. I have a reputation and I am a trusted member of the community check this with any MVS dev, I would not dare risking that to steal 1-2 ETP... So i say to all be WARNED Dodopool will not help . I also suspect that some of the blocks are being stolen as they do not show up on the site when you mine there . So watch your miner and the site and you will notice the odd block is not showing up . This is a very DODEGY site . A simple please explain as to why when i try to mine on the 8009 port it will not let me but if i use the 8008 port i can . BUT NO after 7 F&*king hours not 1 word or explaination as to how to fix it or even why it may be happening . So WTF is your F87king problem with not answering a question . You can ask about me to metaverse devs if you want. About your problem though, I don't have a clue. It sounds like a blocked port on your side as both stratums are running with multitudes of people connected. I am English but I sincerely encourage you to not make angry racial slurs about any country or group, as it is really ugly under any context. I am not sure how you decide that you found a block watching your "miner", You can though cross reference pool blocks with the official explorer. Have a great day.
