Shocking news. Still can't believe this happened. Linkin Park songs are part of my growing up. Rest in peace, sir.

May he RIP. Our thoughts are with Chester Bennington's family & all of Linkin Park at this difficult moment.

Many young adults grew with Linkin Park, is hard for all of us R.I.P.

He is depressed because the last linkin park album is very shades of pop and much to get insult from fans, very reasonable because at that age chester was aged 26, above 40 cannot wear a song full of screams. Chester is the second vocalist to commit suicide due to depression after the audioslave vocalist

This is so sad, rest in peace buddy.

Imagine someone accepting defeat who's songs once told you that it's okay if you don't fit in. Is there anyone left to look up to. Chester's death speaks that it's too cold outside for the good souls to survive #RIPChesterBennington

Literally the most impressive talent I've ever seen live! Vocal beast!. chester  is my favorite and I grew up with lp. he is sing like angel and scream like devil. its amazing talent and I think he is king of singer. We lost another legend R.I.P. I was really shocked and sadden when I heard the news that Linkin Park's vocalist, Chester Bennington has passed away. He saved the emotional kid in me before and here I am hearing the news that he passed away by suicide, by hanging himself. I was really sad that he had to go through depression and such leading him to take away his own life. My deepest condolences to Chester Bennington's family.

Hybrid Theory was a huge part of my teen years, didn't really care for them for the last 10 years but it still sadden me when I heard of his demise.

Yes, Rest In Peace Chester Bennington. He was an inspiration to many people, and helped a lot of people of out depression with his own songs. Alas, he could not save himself in the end. He should be in a better place now.

A well known and respected artist/singer had passed away, may his soul rest in peace. His songs are always remembered. At first I was also shocked that he commited suicide, well maybe we do not know the real reason behind his actions, but the media declared that he commited suicide due to depression and stress.

Sad news. RIP chester bennington. We, 90's kids use to listen to your music. You will always in our heart chester. Rock in peace.

Sorry the creative person. But let's not dramatize. Recently the band had bad times ...

Very sad news indeed, he was one great artist and I liked his voice too. My his soul rest in peace. Was shocked when I saw on the news that he committed suicide on his friend Chris Cornell's birthday which also died of suicide by hanging. So sad to hear and see these kinds of news.

one of my favorite vocalist, made my elementary and high school days great because of their band. such a loss from this world and to this generation full of you know....

I have been his fan for a really long time ...ever since 8th grade it was hard to hear it

So much love for his work and also for the band you maybe not in this world but the sound of hybrid theory and meteora is remaining in our hearts

Such a huge loss. LP influenced my highschool years a lot and for a long time I really wanted to go see them live (but unfortunately never made it).
I find it extremely hard to understand how superstars can fall into such a dark place that they don't se another way out. After all, they have the means to turn their lives around completely if they decide to do so (change careers, move, get therapy...). But still a lot of them are fighting depression, which really strikes me as odd.

It was the band that introduced me to rock music. I am still shocked by his death,  but it made me look differently at the One More Light album. He was truly a beautiful soul.

I'm the of chester fans and for sure i really shocked when hear this news, it's so sad.
But i hope chester will Rest in peace there

For many folks in their 20's, Linkin Park was the first major musical group to influence their impressionable years. It was a big deal when he passed away :( Sad too!
