Title: alternatives to trading bitcoins
Post by: rogerdv on May 13, 2013, 01:16:01 PM
Hi all
I have restarted mining after some time, mostly because I lack interest on it and the trading system was a bit complex for me. My situation is that I have to use some friend outside my country as proxy, as I dont have a bank account and also transfers to my country are not reliable. Mtgox requires that the associated bank acocunt should belong to the mtgox account owner, and thats a problem for me. Is there any easier (and reliable) way to trade my bitcoins and send the money to Paypal or to my friends bank account?

Sure.  If you're willing to send the bitcoins to me, I'll send paypal funds to you.

As far I know, DannyHamilton is a pretty legit member of the community, just check to see if he's done it before and what people say about him :)

I've engaged in multiple transactions as well as holding escrow for others.  I have reputation on localbitcoins.com, and am registered on the bitcoin-otc WOT.  I am also willing to provide identifying information to the seller.

We'd have to negotiate an exchange rate that we can both agree to.  I recognize that you'd be taking a risk sending to someone who is paying with paypal, but that is your choice.  I'd expect to pay less than the MtGox current rate.
