Hi
I want to bet 1000usd, and hopefully get 100 000usd, so 100 times my bet in a few years.

I know it is a very risky bet, and I can loose all my 1000usd.

Still, I believe there are some odds some coin will increrase BIG over time.

I'm ready to take that risk. I will accept the loss.

It is a long term investment, once bought I will hold whatever happens, until at least 100 000usd. I am not a trader and will not try to sell, buy again, and so on.

Nobody can predict future, still, it's better to "bet" on the coin that has the more odds to grow much.

Any idea? It can be a big or small market cap.... I can also gather some other 4000usd if I definitly need to bet not only in 1 horse, in that case my bet would be 5 times 1000usd in 5 cryptocurrencies.

If you want to make your 100$ to 100000 you can invest in Alt coins.  Those are→ waves,Etb,Eth.  I think this  three wil give you profit more then 100times.

Go for ethereum if you don't want to invest in bitcoin stratis is also a good choice.

SONM has a fantastic price currently and I'm pretty bullish on it. However, there's always the risk that they eventually fail to deliver the product they advertised. However, if they do deliver the full scope of their intentions and manage to offset the competition, they could be as big as Google is today within 10 years. That would imply a ~33000-fold increase over the current value, which would turn a $1000 investment into 33 Million.

That involves a lot of big ifs though, which I am ready to stake.

Safer choices could be Waves.


And my personal favourite as far as Bitcoin investments go is AiCoin. Their approach is fantastic and mimics gigantic hedge funds and trading firms, in that it applies machine learning algorithms to automated trading.
The algorithm self-improves as time goes on and gets more efficient if the market doesn't change its behaviour too drastically. If it does, it learns the new patterns and remains profitable.

100x returns are quite common on some shitcoins altcoins over the past few years. These things are basically gambling, not investment lol. But here's my bet:

- Mothership (https://mothership.cx/) (MSP). It is an upcoming exchange for Estonian e-Residence. ICO is over and it is not on exchange yet, though.
- Ubiq (https://ubiqsmart.com/) (UBQ). Ethereum-like coin with some solid dev team behind them.

Stay away from ETH or all other coin with really high price

You should spread it in different altcoins to cut back your risk. I would say you could also keep in BTC if you want to wait few years.

I suggest not to invest all of your money in a single coin. It takes courage to invest that amount of money especially for a long term investment as it is very risky. Review the coins well, know their current status and their price deviation. A little statistics won't hurt, just be smart about it.

noone can know this. but i you want to take risk go join some icos. it is realy risky but only fast way to get 100x. i see some people saying ethereum but how can ethereum do 100x ?

100x in < 3 years?? Go for SiaCoin and hope they can take every cloud storage's market share. 1000USD isn't huge capital so it's not the worst risk.

You are ultimately in charge of your own money but if you want some ideas  on how to invest a $1000 USD here it is

1) Get your emotions in check
Nothing will kill your investment faster then a knee jerk reaction just be patient

2)Do your research
Don't blindly invest in the trends unless your source is reputable

3) know your platforms
Anything from sigwit to master nodes can help you see the value in some alt coins so take some time to keep up on the changes in the currency's

4) Buy low sell high
These are the words  of a true master

5) Don't watch the market all day
this will drive you crazy just go out and live your life  if you have to use a app to set 5 alerts

Wondering why you not getting your money into bitcoin really. That would be first place if you so stubborn about your decision of holding the coin for quite a few years. Bitcoin will give you more than enough, may be not 100x but it will give you 50x or more but with full confidence level. The alts are alts, who knows what may happen in five years of time. What would you do if something new replaces the altcoins concept. So be cautious while investing in alts. :-)

I think litecoin and ethereum are the right choice for long-term investments, they are altcoins with good and promising investors, if you do not have the ability to trade, you can use litecoin and ethereum as an option for your long-term investment.

Looking the past days eth and litecoin has given its users such a big profiting through the price increase that happened all of a sudden by the starting of the year. So these days its good to invest on these altcoin as more ICO projects too were getting developed on the same platform. Another choice is to invest into low value coins and forget it, after years just withdraw. Based on the growth as well luck you'll be getting good return.

Strange why so many people keep suggesting ETH, LTC, Bitcoin and all those expensive coins. These coins have lived there days of 100x and now they can only afford 5-10x at most over next few years. Don't expect them to sky rocket and give 100x ..

Best bet will be coins which are still valued less than 1$ ... if in cents then amazing ,,,, the smaller the value and stronger the project better will be your gain. This will help you get that 10x and 100x increase over years.

Some good ICO's like Suncontracts, Dimcoin, Hive etc are going on which have good use in future and have strong base and idea for their project. You can look into them.

Also you can invest in existing coins like Siacoin, Burst, Doge, Bitshares to HOLD and expect them to gain value over period of time.

What significant raise do you expect from e.g.  bitshares, when total suuply is almost 1/2 bilion..

We can't know what will happen to bitcoin next year and we can't know what will happen to altcoins. Just pick one which you think it will have bright future and invest in it.

something that can go 100x and be stable is very hard to get, with cheap coin you can have very easy a 100x increase but it won't be stable for years, i think you need to look at solid project like for example HLM, could go 100x in few months after launch i think, or some new coin, like veltor that started very low and reached 100k, maybe signatum the new algo coin?

No one has this answer. There's a lot of promising cryptos out there, but there's also a lot of garbage. You have to sift through it all to find shit you believe in and even then, be prepared to lose all your investment. The best tech does not always win out

Many of the altcoins mentioned are way too mainstream to depend on for a 100x increase in a few years.  10x yes ... 100x probably not.

100x increase would be hard to predict now.  I'd probably research coins with a current market cap no higher than $1,000,000 atm.  My fringe bet is Pascal Lite, which I am mining.  The risk isn't very high for mining.  I'm not buying any.  However, if you want a 100x increase, you'll need to make a risky bet.

Note that diversification is the most important investment strategy.  Don't make (1) $1,000 bet ... make (10) $100 bets or even (20) $50 bets. 

Look for an ico you believe in and INVEST in it.

Even if there are 10 alt-coins that do get the success you want (dubious) there is no way to know ahead of time which ones they will be.

If it was known, the pricing would already have spiked - so you'd be too late for  your 100x gain.

I would choose Bancor, especially as now it is very undervalued. As soon as it will start to deliver its apps and ICO flipper have sold all their stacks, it may rise 100X in some years.

I would say WAVES is a very good coin and also has a potential to go 100x in few years. That would make its market cap around 40B which is possible.

It's hilarious how 99% of the recommendations are for shit coins with nothing going for them except pump and dump. This *might* be ok you're a trader looking for a quick buck but it's horrid advice for long term investments.

For this you should look at what the altcoin is bringing to the table, what problem does it solve?

I would argue that Monero is a solid candidate. It's the only fungible cryptocurrency giving you actual privacy. This is a very real problem no other coins solve satisfactory.

Lite coin and Ethereum might be a good choice for long term but one thing is certain is that you could make a bigger profit if you could invest in bitcoin for a long time,as per the speculation it could triple or more in valuation in the coming years and i am sure no other coin will be near the value of bitcoin by a very large margin.

I think the reason being is that:

1. Footy has Rarity - Only 4 million coins total can exist.  There is a small POS inflation rate - about 3% annually (for staked coins only).
How many of you can say like the Winklevoss twins - that you own whole percentages of a cryptocurrency.

But try to keep looking on ethereum or maybe with Nem since those will be the best coin of my choice right now and mind to listen some certain  suggestion since one of them are true.

split your money into many parts and invest in shitcoin. I can ensure that if you are lucky, you can x1000 your capital in 1 week, no need a few years in this case. Shitcoins are usually pumped by whales for profit and if you can follow the mainstream, you can get some source of profit from their activities

I just wonder why you want to buy alt and keep them for years?yeah its not possible that if you buy today price may reach 100x time after lots of years since that happen to btc but know one know what coin would particularly. why not just study rules and techniques to be a successful trader. I think 1000$ would be enough start up fund on trading to make decent profit in a week.

There are a few coins that are likely to last for years though. Just hard to dig them up. AiCoin is one of them based on their concept and they already have a running product and have been in their business for years. Also one of those coins that gets better the longer it runs, simply because that's how Machine Learning algorithms work.

I think Cryptopia is the way to go to buy cheap shitcoins that can become big.

More realistic way to approach target in investing crypto is by trading. We see alot of crypto being so big a few years later. But that happens not in our control, we are just follower market trend. More certain thing is, if we can monopolize coin, then we can predict what will happen in next few years. I might be able to give an idea on eth or xrp for holding.

DigiByte is a good coin. There are other good ones such as Bitcoin Cash or the Ethereum, or ZCash.

needless to say, you're asking for which option you should choose to create miracle. if i recommend some coin to you. maybe stratis, aeternity, or monetha will do but no one knows.
it's just the same to what happened to eth, no one ever think that the price could be this high.

Please don't jump on the DGB hype-train that 12 year olds are trying to promote. If you want to make some serious money with holding only you should definitely take a look at Nexus, Wagerr, Wbb, Game, MGO or Stratis. Or participate in an ICO although that's way more risky. (Kyber, Chainlink, Guts and even Atlant)

nothing else would go up in long term except bitcoin.

other altcoins may go up big time in short term like in a couple of weeks but after they are done rising, they start falling back down to the low levels they used to be.

A lot of altcoins even raise after 2-4 years. I would bet 30% on BTC and the rest on alt coins.

I think a save choice could be waves to make some nice profit in the next years. They are going to have some nice upgrades. Their team is very active and the dev knows what he is doing. I think we see a bright future with sasha :)

I don’t even believe in these coins. They are also not capable of generating some good results in the near future. If you really want some good profit without wastage of time and money, then the best option as usual is bitcoins, other than that you can invest into waves, neo and litecoins.
