Now it works like this, before the game you bet with a coefficient (it is set based on your statistics).

When I do click the link I cant really understand on the words being written there since its not on English language and even I do try to translate it, I cant do it since its not available. How can I do read regarding on this situation? Seems like this is a sports betting site which do focus on e-sports because the main games are Dota 2 and CS:GO. Please do make some changes about language matters.

Cyber-lobby is a unique project that allows you to earn real money while playing Dota 2. The system is fully automatic and runs on Steam api. To start getting money you just have to place a bet on your winning and then just play Dota with other players who are not interested financially.

ESport is like any other sport, and like in any sport there are some great money invested.  The Cyber-lobby project was specifically designed so not only professional Dota 2 players could earn money using their skills but also every player who is confident about his playing techniques could get some cash. You have to agree that playing DotA for money is much more interesting than just playing it for fun.  A strong desire to win appears and the results of your game improve, because of the fact that you have a goal of winning some real money.

We accept payments via Webmoney and Qiwi. You can make a withdrawal through the same payment systems, or using different systems, after making a request to our support.
We wish you pleasant and professional DotA matches!

The project will develop, I have a clear plan on how to do it much better. There are not enough people and money to develop the project. How do you think it is possible to collect not a large sum here? Maybe there is someone here who is interested in participating in the project.

How does Webmoney and Qiwi fit into Bitcoin payments? What are the legal requirements to earn money online as a minor?

I have seen exchanges that would close people's accounts, when they found out that minors were using those accounts. Your

biggest clients will be minors.  ??? Last thing we need is for some counter party token or service to compete with Bitcoin.  >:(

Qiwi and webmoney were added for testing the system on a Russian audience. At the moment, about 2500-3000 people regularly play.

Hah, somebody really wants to pay money for a computer GAME?

How do you get your games then? Do you steal it by downloading it from pirated content providers? If everyone stop buying it and only pirate it from the internet, developers will have no incentive to create it, because they will not make money. This is a platform that were created as a gambling < eSport betting > opportunity.

Do some research before you post. ^grrrrrrr^

Why the criticism if you know nothing about it ?

dota world chanmponship a.k.a The International will have a bigger prizepool than Wimbledon in few years. TI prizepool for this year is currently $23M, will be $25M++ easy by the end of the tournament

It's the e-sport with highest prizepools in the world, 12 million unique players last month.

If one is to build a platform like this for a online game, dota2 is the way to go.

Indeed, bcc is another good coin which most people would like to cash out but it's has some problems right now.
So, how your project progresses? $8000 per month from dota-2 betting site? And even you've planned to launch an ICO and add CS.
If you need BTC30, why people should invest on your project? Besides people will get CLC, is this coin just for betting purpose?

1) $ 8000 is not a profit, ROI about 5 %  (500$-700) in month.
2) CS already works.  https://csgo.cyber-lobby.com/
3) I plan to hold an ICO and continue  work with this money. On the platform, you can not only bet, but also buy, sell things.
https://cyber-lobby.com/shop

4) After I finalize the English and Chinese version of the site, I can gradually redeem a coin from the exchange so the investor will receive his profit from investing in this currency.

That would be nice but you need transparent escrow for that match so that the player and the speculators can assure that the gamers would get the price that they deserve if they won on the game.

it would be extra cool if you could get the Steam involved too. I mean really register your tournaments like all the other tournaments that are going on (International, and all the small ones that I have forgotten the name of).
you can call it the bitcoin tournament or generally a name with bitcoin in it. that way you are hitting multiple birds with one stone:
- advertise bitcoin and get more people involved (steam already accepts bitcoin payment so I don't think they would mind)
- advertise your tournament and get some real players involved and some teams to sign up.
- get a real prize pool
- even release a compendium thing like TI and get people to design item drops for the compendium and also add the sales of the compendium to the prize pool.
- get live commentary (this is the best feature in my opinion, people can watch the games live through their client and have commentary on it)

it is a lot of work I know, but it is worth it if you are in it for the long haul and have bigger goals than just getting some people sign up and compete so that you can earn some satoshi out of the ICO.

Do you have ANN thread regarding on this project on having a self-based gambling site coin? You cant just post links on ICO status or on how to purchase coins on the simpliest way because it wont really be effective as you think. I do like the idea but better to put some funds on marketing stuffs to make the exposure more higher which would give you some good responses later on.

Use a wallet that supports ERC20 Ethereum tokens, such as MyEtherWallet, Mist, or imToken.
Set the Gas Limit to 200,000.
CLC Token will be sent immediately to the wallet from which the ETH arrived.
By participating in this ICO, you agree to the terms and conditions and confirm that you are not a citizen or resident of the USA.
Token exchange rate:  1000000 CLC = 1 ETH

What happened? Did you run into some legal issues with the ICO? The SEC is starting to investigate all these unregulated ICO's and also the legality of Ethereum. I personally think Ethereum is a security fraud, based on the legal advice I have read and advice received from people I know in the legal framework. < the verdict is still out there for debate >

I would stick with Bitcoin or if you are really desperate, BCash. < BCash is still looking for a use case, so a lot of people are looking for ways to spend them. >

The project will develop, I have a clear plan on how to do it much better. There are not enough people and money to develop the project. How do you think it is possible to collect not a large sum here? Maybe there is someone here who is interested in participating in the project.

well i think thats  nice idea you have
lots of people are in to gaming now and most definitely theyre into bitcoin as well
so you have a market already
just make sure its a good plan and not that sort of just good in the beginning thing
try to seek help and collaborate with the right people i guess thats what you should do

What if make your project with PUBG https://www.playbattlegrounds.com/main.pu instead of Dota2?

Pubg is popular now, game has 1vs1, 2v2 and 4v4 modes. It's much easier to play alone or 2vs2 than with a random players.

I just visited your project website and it was on Russian context but i don't know how to read it though so i just translated it. And it looks like the same as the other website's offering to bet on their favorite team by giving an item as a reward and not a real money. If you've completed it though can you add some valve and non-steam games their too like LoL or other mobile games. I think everyone would love to it if you made it, and i know it will take a lot of time and a great team to be able to do this all. Hoping for your success on this.  :)

I think, aiming for the gaming community is a good idea, since it a public that has allot of cryptocurrency enthousiasts.

Gaming isn't a trend that will fade out in a year or so, I'd say its a good investment. You just need to get the word out, maybe using bigger channels like tweakers or youtube streamers.

I recently saw this project called bountie (at least I think it was this), they want to give players of every skill level, if casual player or pro player, the opportunity to monetize their game (I think they only serve the asian market for now though). I guess this can really have a huge impact because so many players cant monetize what they do and if that will be possible from now on, it will incentivice people to use such platforms. Blockchain projects are great!

When DOTA 1 started they used it only to gain fun and enjoyment to players of the game, but time come past and they develop it more to build tournament for those players who have talents to play the game. Some tournament are illegal and become hobby until it turns into gambling.

Several years and the developers launched the DOTA 2 due to good image and feedback of many people, instead of using it into illegal gambling they were bind a tournament for those players who wants to play the game together with earning money.

Lately I discovered that this game are including now into online casinos, using different team from respective countries they can used it now thru betting of those team who looked stronger among the other.

I believe that this game now is used to earn profit.

Its all about business yah know which owners (Gaben) did already see or preview on the possible things that he can monetize even more thru competitions.Accumulating pot  money which is enormous on every The International Tournament come to think that last TI 7 did get $24,787,916 which is awesome just for a tournament.Blockchain technology can be applied but I don't think that this thing can be easily adopted or considered by them. Not all people are still aware with this system.

Dota 2 is a game that is very famous and many of the gamer really likes to play this game, it would be good if there is a project on a blockchain that could be used on Dota 2, a platform that could fund more Dota 2 tournaments via crypto-currencies will bring the game to a much higher level as more pro gamer will compete for the big prize pool.

I highly suggest having the website in English with the option to change to other languages, rather than how you have it setup. Also, be it noted that not all languages variables are defined in English.

It's definitely a change worth looking at. It certainly has potential, but I wouldn't suggest limiting it to Dota and CSGO (although that is certainly a good base).

This is my project https://cyber-lobby.com/ a platform for playing DotA 2 for money, I have an idea how to make it more popular and thought out with the help of a blockchain.

What do you think of it?

Are you going to develop a betting site ? , it will be really nice if the concept is betting coins for teams, then every users can bet for their favorite team and winner takes all or maybe youll get a percentage for creating the site. are you a webdeveloper?

I think the idea of this guy is brilliant. As we are all somehow involved in cryptocurrency, why don't you develop a betting site where we can use cryptocurrency as a direct mode of payment. Just need to be careful in that blockchain tho.

Great work in advance ;)

That is a nonsense claim and no statistics is supporting it. Dota2 is still the one of the largest and favorited E-Sport. We can judge it by the total tournament prize pool and the active player.

The title of the post really caught my attention and its one of the few threads out there worth back reading. If I understood it correctly, it is similar to developing a Steam like platform but with a twist (where you can bet or wager, while playing). Unfortunately for me, this project was postponed. I thought that I will be having a chance of getting paid while playing games. Anyways, this is a great idea. I'm pretty sure, that majority of this community are gamers and they can pretty relate. I just hope that it reaches more people so it can still be pursued by next year.

I am a Dota 2 player myself and I think this is a very great innovation in case this will materialize. Here in my country, there are so many Dota 2 players as well. But of course, we cannot be assured that everyone of them will engage in some kind of gambling while playing but the surest thing is that there will be a big portion of the players that will definitely bet. My understanding is that you will allow players themselves to bet on their games and not outsiders simply betting on existing games.

So you're talking about building a platform similar to MMbets (https://mmbets.net/welcome) and Kickback (https://kickback.com/) for CSGO, wherein you can bet on your own matchmaking game for skins/money? There will be a lot of difficulties to implement this as you will face a lot of hurdles. Firstly, there would be no sort of house edge and every game won by a player means a depleting bankroll for the site. Secondly, if a higher ranked player lets say of 5k MMR gets a 2k MMR smurf and is able to win all matches, the site would run bankrupt soon enough.

I would like to see your approach in addressing these issues.

I like the idea, will make the game more competitive and players will play more serious (as if they wouldnt already while playing dota2), and on the other hand they can earn some money while playing casually. However they could also loose their games and end up with less. How is this planned to be implemented? Will all players that are playing a round will be teaming up at the platform? Otherwise if you just use normal match making, its not that serious right? Hope you understand what I mean.

There would be still lots of thing to be adjusted and considered first before this platform would be able to be created. As you said this site would really be easily bankrupt if they would really cover the handicapped or they wouldnt tend to make it balanced. For now i dont see that this thing is possible by just playing dota 2 we would be able to get paid, we are not still on beta phase where it would need some beta testers.lol.
If you do like to earn money then better to start up on joining tournaments.

I see do you have any updates regarding on that feature? You got the interest of many DotA 2 players here, there will be people who will be meeting and starting to make teams from all over the world and will just compete to any team they want for different purposes, making money and becoming stronger. I think you don't have to remove that bet from well known teams, it will be just another section of your platform and the rest will remain for PvP/Team vs Team.

Now it works like this, before the game you bet with a coefficient (it is set based on your statistics).

If I am understanding this right it is a method for betting on games, with level of payout based on your rank?

I really like this idea actually. It could be a plugin used in pregame lobbies of all types of games, allowing you to bet on the match beforehand. It sounds in a way like the betting system in GTA but with real money, and could add another level to the competitiveness of games.

I really like this idea actually. It could be a plugin used in pregame lobbies of all types of games, allowing you to bet on the match beforehand. It sounds in a way like the betting system in GTA but with real money, and could add another level to the competitiveness of games.

Yeh this is will a web3js Decentralized eSports Platform Based on Smart Contracts. Method for betting on games, with level of payout based on your rank.

Cyberlobby will be the first decentralized app, built on top of Ethereum, that allows
eSports enthusiasts to compete in their favorite games through a decentralized,
automated platform and make money for that.
Through decentralization, participants are completely in control of their funds while using cyberlobby. The payments and payouts are made by the individual players and  little recourse for those affected. Smart contracts paired with a decentralized jury and witness system allow Cyberlobby to
operate in a unique way that has never existed before, and to be independent from
game API policy changes.

The co-factor of your score will depend on many factors, such as your rank, your game statistics in general, and the number of wins / lost games.

We'll just gonna play DotA 2 and we will get paid for it? What will be the way for us to get paid by just simply playing it? I can't understand your website https://cyber-lobby.com/ but base on what I can see, it's just like a sports betting website? I thought you're going to make a platform that everyone will get paid just for playing DotA 2 not for betting with these international teams or you'll create a platform that can be an escrow for online betting playing against other teams that will use your platform.

I want to make a platform where, every player can play, bet on his game, get paid for it. And also hold tournaments. Bets on well-known teams, I will remove from this application.

It is necessary to find the correct formula for calculating the coefficient. I do not want to make a website that will bring money. This is just for fun for all us

Some of the website that are related into betting any items from Steam is already out there and mostly who owns it are chinese people, although some of it are from western people too but most of it are from chinese people. It is a good idea to be using a cryptocurrency for betting any game in steam specially in DOTA 2, CS:GO, and PUBG, that was the most common games that are top in their website for betting.

Yes, the site was originally in Russian, I think the developers are also from Russia. The site will not be remade for long if the project meets the approval of the public. The main thing is that the idea is not bad, I would be glad to participate in such a project.

Its nor viruse, or clickbait. Its real way for earning digital vault. Just try it. Sent link to friends and have fun!
Post or reply is completely irrelevant into the topic since that gambling site you do posted isn't really related to the topic and knowing posting referral links are prohibited unless if its being putted on signature space.
Back to topic since I'm a dota player I do love the idea on playing the game and the same time you do play it but I don't know what would be the system for you to make money while playing since we do know on monetizing on gaming industry would through to tournaments.

Until now Dota is used to earned money thru help of gamble, some of them are illegal. If you notice more computer shops are allowed people to gamble inside thru playing Dota. Even kids or adults they allowed them to play for gambled. But now thru help of developers DotA 2 was used as interesting game, because they make some competition using DotA.

I can see how this would be appealing to a lot of gamers, especially if you go to the game! What I don’t like about the idea has always been a cheating problem no matter what the game.  With the underground packing community is a never ending flow of private cheats available for anyone who wants to pay for them.  Having said that, how could you were sure your customer that he or she is not being cheated? I’m not super familiar with Dota 2 or how the game works or if there’s actually been a way to cheat in it, but I know if there’s money involved people will find a way. One way I could think of to make it safer would be to have an admin in the server watching the match as well.

Don't get me wrong if you will be paying players to play dota 2 for money via use of blockchain, my question is why not develop or establish a team to compete for you. I mean that will be the first question if i will be your investor. I mean no beef on you but in that case since investing to your platform may take so much risk if i were to think to build a team and find a competitive players with promising talent, well that's a risk too but imagine them if we will be winning tourneys?. It will be hard but less hassle and more moneys to come in favor of me and my players.

I dont know if that Dota plus is considered as a traditional battle pass. What you think? For me its a no, since if you do try to compare the price of that subscription it do last for a year on maximum and we do know that battle pass is only good for a season but the thing i do like with that dota plus is the features that it gives which do give a guidance for players on enhancing theirselves on the game.Back in the topic where OP just asking for having the idea of applying blockchain transactions with dota 2 which it seems impossible thing as of now yet valve did already remove bitcoin as a mode of payment.

I spent a lot of money on Battle Pass(300 bucks). Dota + might be a BP 2.0, idk. For me it's a meh deal now.

Speaking about blockchain and dota(or esport) It's possible and I'm waiting for it. Currently Dota events are too centralized, hard to get into Esport.

Its like an evolution of bets on online gaming. Dota is quite the most popular online games around the globe. People plays often with a pot money and is seen on a big screen. Its like converting fiat price with bitcoin. The target market is quite small. Imagine for example two million people are playing DOTA but only a hundred thousand of them have bitcoin account and that would be it.

Even myself wont really consider to take the deal of that dota plus.I dont see any special things on it to be worth to spend on.Unlike on that usual battle pass with sets then i would consider and ive been purchasing since the beginning of battle pass and im waiting for that event for this year.Talking about blockchain they might consider but it would really takes time and as i said earlier they dont like decentralized stuffs as they have remove bitcoin already.

Sad that Steam removed BTC, indeed.

Sets in Dota +  are so meh. It's uglier than 99% of Rares!
You are just entirely wasting up your money if you do plan to buy those shitty sets which their appearance is too ugly compared even into uncommon items. This is true that's why I don't waste a single penny just to buy any trending items or opening up caches.Yes they do already remove btc as a mode of payment but its still fine since my wallet do provide on crediting esports wallets which is a good thing.

a platform for playing DotA 2 for money, I have an idea how to make it more popular and thought out with the help of a blockchain.

What do you think of it?

There is an ongoing crowdfunding for the project named "The Abyss" that is aiming to let players of a certain games as well with developers to earn by playing nor creating games. Unlike Steam, The Abyss offers a groundbreaking motivational and multilevel referral system, allowing gamers to earn from in-game and social activities, and other gamers’ payments as well. By joining The Abyss, developers will reduce their marketing expenses and receive an extra income from referral payments made in other games on the platform. Im not sure of them adding DOTA2 on their list but Im pretty confident that they would as this is one of the best games I have ever played.

Hi!

Is the project still alive? What are your thoughts about Dota 2 plus?
I don't think so that this is still alive. OP's last reply was on December 25. About Dota 2 plus, one advantage of it is you know if you are getting enough net worth and you can compare yourself if you are playing well with that much though it has some other features too. Have you purchased it?

I don't play Dota 2 now.

 But it's a cool stuff. I spent 30 bucks on Dotabuff+ in 2017 when I played frequently.

He mean, its a total waste of money, a completely useless purchase. He just seem to express it exaggeratedly,  since there are some users or players who kept on buying awful sets just because its the latest trend. It seriously need to stop, just like what the other players including you who notice the ugly sets that they're selling today.
I dont know if its a good thing or bad removing btc as an option for payment.

Thank you for the clarification.

I buy only good(my humble opinion ofc) sets. :-D

a platform for playing DotA 2 for money, I have an idea how to make it more popular and thought out with the help of a blockchain.

What do you think of it?

Me as gamer too I'm glad though but is this legit? , can you pm me cause I want to earn money online and now I'm on vacation though it's kind of boring though, i want to play dota 2 while earning.
A bit strange with ads like this, they are taking the popularity and giving an interesting flavor that is money.
anyone will be interested to play spend their time.
I'm not interested though this makes money. too bad to speculate

Doesn't UNIKRN do this with their erc token?
https://unikrn.com

Also Dmarket.
But I don't think OP should be scared. There is a demand. :)
