Im curious but are there people here that had say at least 1000 bitcoins or even more from back then?  Then sold it due to locking in a profit or just using it for stuff since it was useless at the time. 


Im going to assume there probably are lot of people here who had at least 100 bitcoin pretty easily back then when it was like 10 dollars a coin?  Are there ppl here that spent all their bitcoin when it was like 5 dollars or less but if they did not do that, they would be a millionaire now?  If you have 500 btc, you would be a millionaire now.  I mean how many ppl out there got bitcoin when it was 1 dollar and just kept it all the way till it it was 500 dollars?  How many ppl out there kept it all the way till now even?  But if you converted say 100 btc...and have 400 still at the moment, that is still very good etc.  That is still 1 million dollars as of now.


Im listing lower numbers at the beginning and thus much more options since i assume most ppl did not get bitcoin when it was really cheap... like 10 dollars and under.  Im also curious but were there lot of ppl that bought like 1000+ bitcoin when it was 1 dollar or less?  Or it was a select few etc?

I made a mistake on the poll back in 2014 I owned 4 or 5 Bitcoins I think. Can't remember exactly, but then I sold them and don't even own one. :\

I have more than 1 bitcoin right now but it is less than 10 BTC. I am constantly buying and selling different alts so my crypto holding changes with time but most of the time I hold more than 1BTC.

I have between 1-10 bitcoins (I won't tell how much exactly, lol). With current price of bitcoin, I don't have idea how I would be able to get more btc. I think that now, biggest amounts of btc are owned by early bitcoin users, millionaires, high scale scammers and owners of big btc companies. Offcourse, we can't forget to mention mr. Satoshi.
Now, growing bitcoin price and more people joining bitcoin community, it means that for many people 1 btc becomes unreachable amount.

I too had at least between those numbers but ut was on my old blockchain account. In kind of sadden because i forgot the password of the site where i inputted my wallet id and i had at least .03 in there. I did not regret it earlier because it was just a small amount during that time but today I guess it could mean much for an investment if possible.

Here personally i have 5 btc maximum in the last month and sold at high price ( but was low price according to this month ) .
Here anyone at my level can get shocked that how he had 5 btc while he is in the signature campaign and earnings are in very small , actually i am collecting btc from 2014 and also doing trading with that , than why not i will have btc in this amount and I think that was the best time to hard work because at that time earnings in btc in more amount was easy because of low price .
In my friends list about 6 persons are who are holding currently 20+ btc , so i think lots of person are here in thus field having enough number of the bitcoin in thier Wallet .

Too bad I am holding less than 1 bitcoin. I didn't even had a chance to own atleast half bitcoin. I just started earning bitcoin later this year. If only I knew it before during the time it was still cheaper. It's okay. I guess I have to try my best earning more and saving.

The largest amount of bitcoin that i have is still below 1 btc exactly 0.6 btc, I hope the end of this year can accumulate up to 1 btc. Always excited to keep trying to collect bitcoin by following a bounty campaign and learning altcoin trading.  ;D

I just got started trading bitcoin at poloniex last month @ 0.1 bitcoin but today, i have 0.2 bitcoin earning 0.1 satoshi. Hoping that my investment will grow in the future. ;D

From there you go to buying Bitcoin directly. It doesn't have to be a lot. Just buy what you can afford $10? $100? And try to buy regularly, every two weeks or every month buy a little more. Buy the same amount over regular intervals and you soon have gathered a decent sum.

Then find a bitcoin wallet that pays you interest so you can earn off of your balance!

I just have 1btc right now. My coins are mostly altcoins.
I use to buy my btc back then to buy promising coins and hold it for long term.
I don't have any regret holding like this because I know Im on a right trend. ;D
But of course my target now is to grow my bitcoin by this end of the year.

I bought 1.6 btc last year when the price was around $400 and that was the most that I have because being so naive, I invested some of it in a cloud mining site that has gone offline before the halving and I only got half of my investment. I started trading and lose some more because I trade with my emotions and then lose some in gambling too because of greediness. Now, I have less than half of btc but I am slowly getting it back through trading.

Hadn't heard of that before. I know some exchanges allow lending. And pos coins do that automatically but didn't know bitcoin wallets that did that too. But do we have exclusive control of the private keys with those wallets? Or is it like an online service? If it is that, the interest may not be worth the risk of losing the coins.

i don't know if this service like he said is available because as far as i know, bitcoin can not a pos coins. if there is any service like this, then i think many people will using this service and they will make a lot of bitcoin. actually i don't have 1 bitcoin but almost 1 bitcoin. the most i have is altcoin which i split in many altcoin.

For a few months back in 2010-11 I had as much as 756 BTC. I sold some of it for profit over the next two years and then in 2013 lost all but 25 BTC when GLBSE (bitcoin stock exchange) abruptly shut down their site and caused most of the stocks traded there to become worthless, and in some cases investors were paid pennies on the dollar for whatever shares they still held at the time.

Fortunately my leftover BTC has appreciated so much in value that it has motivated me to return to this forum (my original registration from years ago was never approved by the administrators) and actually start posting while trying to find some ways to earn more BTC.

I am closing in on my first bitcoin after almost two years of buying and eventually selling. Haven’t really gotten serious about amassing a huge amount, which I should have done when I had the opportunity to do so. I would most likely close out the year with at least one bitcoin and carry that momentum until next year to possibly double or triple that amount in the next coming months.

in my many months of existence in this forum i got 2 btc i guess. but i already spent all of that in my personal needs. as of now im just waiting for my income then i will start to save again.

That's good for you. what do you mean by 0.1 satoshi? 0.1 BTC ? You have a great future ahead of bitcoin. just try and read and read some tips on the proes here in the forum they may help you alot.


The most bitcoin i had in my wallet is 0.1 BTC last 2015 up to now i never had my first bitcoin in my wallet.

The amount of bitcoin I have has not reached 1 bitcoin .. still 0.1 btc. I think the number 0.1 is already a lot for me. I am grateful to have bitcoin. Because I'm sure the price of aloe bitcoin keeps going up. And i am still a beginner in this forum .. can only get bitcoin from my signature campaign only.

i bought 500 BTC in 2011 when the price was $3....

....aaaand sold 465 BTC in 2012 when the price was $6  :'(

A few years ago, I used to own a few dozen BTCs, and I sold them for a few hundred dollars at the time, I thought it was a lot, but at the present time it could help me become a millionaire, I do not dare to believe in the price of BTC at present, more than $ 4,000, can not believe my eyes.

,as far as i can remember i only nearly had below 10 bitcoins since before I started. as i also can remember i started at this year so its not that I am an early adopter or older here in the forum and in the field of bitcoin. I am just being interested on seeing how far will I go here in this forum, because since i started here, my life started to change, and good news started to come over me too.

The most amount of BTC I ever had is 9 BTC.  I had them this year at around May and since the price of bitcoin is surging, I started cashing them out without realizing that it can go up this fast.  Though I never regret converting them to cash, since I used them to renovate our house, I could have get more if I waited for another 2 months and sure I can but our house cannot wait.   :'(.

I Had 6 BTC in the past but the price at that time weren't so high. It's at around 400 USD.

For now I only have a bit of bitcoin maybe even less than one. But I have a larger amount in altcoin. Usually I trade and try to keep increasing the amount of bitcoin I have.  :D

crazy ! but yeah anyone mostly would do the same as you when see your investment has increased 100% in value . i personally hold 20 bitcoin in mid 2013 when the price around $100 and sell it all six / five months later in the end of the year for $250 . guess how much worth it today :'( . it's always full of regret when you didn't believe in bitcoin right?

Between 1 and 10. I've never acquired more than 10 (I was mining in 2011 and 2012, but never had really powerful hardware) and I still have more than 1  :)

Until now I have never had more than 1 BTC. Always below 1 btc. Now I will be more active again and hopefully the future can be more than that ....

The most amount of bitcoin I ever have is 2 btc and I am still holding it until now. Some of these are bought and mostly is from trading and from the token i get in joining signature campaign.

Haha, this is a real painful question. I only ever have the biggest 0.5 btc. And that too now I use. Only about 0.001 left  ;D

wow its big amount for me, if you hold it until this year, I can not imagine how much money you will have by selling your bitcoin. with 500 btc, if I sell only 10-50 btc, I can buy a house, going to some place, vacation for a week or more.

I only have between 1 until 10 bitcoin and I really hold for a long term because I am sure that the price will be higher than this year. I only use small part for trading and for other thing.

After the price surge I can't hold much. Why? The freaking price is scaring me and letting my temptations succumb me.
Tempting me to withdraw and at the same time scaring the sh1t out of me that it might fall in just one blast.  :-\
This is my money and I have to keep some just to be safe. But of course I will still left a good amount just so if the price rise.

Here you can't get actual and real answer regarding this question because most of the newbie and also the legendary ( in bitcoin field ) want to remain anonymous and don't want reveal the truth that how much they have .
But may be the poll can do something new for you .
Here i myself have 0.3btc only which is in the category of 1st in the list , But here no limitations for the earnings and no limitations of the hard work also , so probably here i would be a person who will have 100 btc ( which is my dream also and we don't need to pay money to have a dream 8) )

Im new user  in BTC. Last 6 month only, I stared work with Bitcoin. And now I have 0.5 BTC with me.

I now have only 1.7 BTC? but I do not tend to accumulate bitcoins. I don't want to be rich in the future. I want to live without needs now. I have a friend who today has 359 BTC. He is a very wealthy man and spends bitcoins. For him it is a toy or hobby.

In 2015-16 when price was around 200-300 usd i had like 8 bitcoins but now i dont have even a single coin :(
I was able to make 1+ btc a few times in past when i was gambling a lot but now i rarely gamble.

The most I ever had was 5 BTC. I earned it just for signing up on affiliate link to someone's Dropbox. At the time 5 BTC was worth $15.

Most amount i have 1.6 that was two month ago now i have 0.26 bitcoin which is another good start to learn trading deeper and deeper .

I haven't so much bitcoin, Approximately only 0.0004 BTC but I will always try to collect.

And you would have very nice amount now if you have kept them.
The bigest amount I had was 7 Bitcoins but back then the price of Bitcoin was 250-300$ so that wasn't such big value. I wish I made this amount even biger but unfortunately I had to spend it. I'm not sure I will ever have so much Bitcoins again.

umm the value and the importance of the bitcoin is increasing each day a friend of mine was having more than 5 bitcoin but she sell then long ago in 2014 to get some profit and now the price of one bitcoin is equal to the 5 bitcoin of that time but I have more than one bitcoin right now but it is not more than 10 BTC today I am trying to buy some more bitcoin by participating in signature campaign.

The most i ever had at one point was 2 BTC. But it did not took long for me to use it. Now its a struggle to gain 1 BTC again but im confident i will succeed in earning more then that in the future.

Under than 1 btc because the price is keep increasing so its harder to own 1 btc. But the fluctuation of Bitcoin price is still frequently happen so there are a big chance to own 1 btc by trading.

If you try to increase your bitcoins by trading then that means you consider bitcoins that worthy. You said you have large amount of altcoins. Why do not you convert atleast half of them into BTC. Btc has a bright future than altcoins for sure. It will give you huge profits in coming days. However, buying BTC is a little costly at the present moment but the value will keep on increasing.

I bought 5 bitcoins when the price was $350 and then I kept on growing it with trading and reached upto 10 bitcoins and lately I sold 5 bitcoin at the price of $3860 in recent past which gave me huge profits and still I have kept 5 btc safe in my wallet which I will sell when price will be too high and that also only if I am in need of money.

The most bitcoin I ever had was 33 BTC which I earned after 4 days straight of gambling in 2015 between Just-Dice and PrimeDice.  I cashed out around 6 BTC and on my way to the bank to cash out the rest of the 26 BTC I busted them lol

It may sounds bad, but if you consider the fact that I started with less than 0.05 BTC then you will realize I still finished well.

3  bitcoins is the biggest amount i have at my wallet. But for that moment it cost just 1500$ right now it's 11500$ which is really a big change bitcoin still not getting the highest price and this amount it's not the biggest. For people who want to spend some funds on buying bitcoins it's really a good time right now for buying bitcoin the price can go immediately

Bro 33 btc is too huge amount and if you would have saved it till date then you would have become millionaire and I really feel sorry for you that you don't have any amount right now in your wallet and it also makes me sad as if I would be at your place then I would have never gambled after having that high amount in my wallet.

you sold it at a nice price, nice profit, I bought it at almost the same price, and I made a profit of 100 dollars, I regretted it and missed the big opportunity.

You sold it at a wrong time if you have saved till now then you would have made extra ordinary profits so the basic rule in bitcoin is never get panic even price is going down and hold your coins till the right time comes and that is the best way to make huge profits from it.

I think when buying btc at 5 $ and selling it now when it costs 500 $, maybe for me only real investors or people who have a lot of money who can do it. I myself can not, already get a little profit I've sold it

The biggest amount of bitcoin that i have ever had was 0.50, and it was like 2 years ago on April of 2015
I remember bitcoin was so cheap, about 300-350$ i think.
Always that i have some bitcoin now i try to convert into fiat since i am investing in my own bussiness.

The most bitcoins I've is 5 I guess, I can't remember but it was being used for my needs and right now I don't have that much bitcoin to hold. And I'm just depending with the current price and that's why I keep on hoping that the price of bitcoin will always be at good rate.

The biggest amount of bitcoin I've ever had is 0.7 bitcoin and it has been long ago. It was when bitcoin value was still around $400. It has been long though and I wish I still kept it till now.BTC

I had 37. I can't even bring myself to do the math to see how much they'd be worth nowadays,
but they were collectively worth a few hundred when I had em. I won a good amount playing poker,
then I decided to gamble on SatoshiDice and go shopping on my favorite Internet Crypto

I like Mario Bros, but not that much.
