You have probably already tried all permutations of drivers, SDKs, thread concurrencies etc. My 7950s also didn't turn out that great (Sapphire OC), but at least the undervolting works decent and they are efficient enough. If I would buy 7950s again I would go for the ones posted above. I heard they are much cooler and once you flash the BIOS you can undervolt them and easily push them to 660 kh/s without lots of tuning. Also, who knows what hassle that 7970 can give you. It seems to be rather rare and you won't find lots of mining support for it. You could just buy it and send it back if hashrate and undervolting do not suit you? That's what I would probably do if I was you |
