I would recommend any escrow service that offers multisig for anything of 1BTC and above.. with this coming rise in BTC watch out for scammers and single point of failure escrows.

Hi everyone,

I'm selling an account of mine for 1.5-2.0 BTC and I'd like the most trusted escrow service available here. Recommendations?
You can trust OgNasty (Profile : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=18321)
Service Thread : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=303281.0
You can message them or post  on the service thread.Just letting you know,do read their escrow terms and conditions carefully as they don't change incase the trade doesn't go through.

PS : I'm wondering what account could be sold for 1.5 to 2 btc  :o Not sure if OGNasty escrows those kind of trades.

Did you forget to take your medicines today ? Get over it man.I can't see you living rest of your life obsessed with those 0.25 bitcoins which you think OGNasty scammed from you.He didn't.
As long as me being his Alt is concerned,if saying that makes you feel any better about the situation/yourself,keep believing that.

There is absolutely no way that an account is worth >= 1.5 BTC. The only possibility that I see is a combination of the following:
1) DT2 account.
2) Donator/VIP.
Then again, the OP might not be talking about a Bitcointalk account to begin with.

What kind of account are we talking about?

its possible to sell an account for 1BTC? $2500 , then if this person use this account to scamm us it would be a crime. :(

My thoughts exactly. I don't even see a DT2/VIP account combo going for that nowadays, most trusted accounts are known by other members, who would also notice if there was a change in how that account was posting. There are also lots of us watching out for such accounts that suddenly appear to have changed hands, making it a risky bet for a scammer to pay out ~$5,000 for an account that could be caught quickly and rendered useless with one negative rating.

I suspect this may not even be a Bitcointalk account that the OP is selling, though I may be wrong.

Further, not many escrows will escrow accounts, I know I sure wouldn't.

You appear to be mistaken.

His payment back to you can be clearly seen in the blockchain:

I understand that, according to your your own words, you have a mental issue:

I have a mental issue so bear with me...

Perhaps you should take that into consideration before throwing out unfounded accusations?

The OP is talking about his LocalBitcoins account and Paxful account, which he is selling in this thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2017623.0).

Initially I'd thought it could be a scam due to the bids from newbies and via PM, and the mention of specific amounts of profit.  While I still think that these things are shady, it's great that the OP is accepting escrow.

Still, selling accounts that you use for trading is just a recipe for scams.  It's very annoying that these markets exist.

Of course the account is going to be used to scam others.  They like to set up fake identities make some fake trades and then scam the innocent ones.  Whose ever identity is on that LBC I feel bad for..........someone either the real scammer or the person the identity belongs to gonna get killed one day.

Sadly, it might have to come to that. In order for LBC and these other places to really check out their applicants.

Well someone certainly might pay that for a Staff account. Satoshis account would probably be pretty valuable if you could get it unlocked as well which almost certainly isn't going to happen unless someone gets a hold of satoshis private keys. I doubt any Scammer would pay more than a few hundred for even a highly ranked account with a couple of feedback though because you're more than likely to get busted on it before you even have the chance to scam.

Not necessarily. Some people just like to get their foot in the door so to speak, but it certainly does increase the chances it could be used for abuse as well.

Yep. Selling his highly trusted Localbitcoins account along with his Paxful account and a "lifetime support membership" in this (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2017623.0) thread here.

I personally do not condone sales of such accounts, as most of the time they will be used to scam several people for several BTC, and then abandoned, leaving the purchaser (scammer) of the accounts with a nice & fat ROI, and further, leaving the OP liable later down the road for the damage done.

Razick, don't be surprised if in a few months you get a knock on the door from the police and arrested for fraud. Any fraud committed under your name leaves you 100% responsible in scenarios such as this. Further, because you willingly sold your trading accounts to line your own pocket, you will be shown little mercy.

If you concede that I actually have these accounts (LBC/Paxful) with over 2000 BTC traded over 5000 trades, don't you think that:

1. I've done my due diligence on the buyer
2. I know the risks of selling my account

Someone please point me in the direction of a reputable escrow service that does account transfers

I can help you. Although I would be unable to guarantee that the account will not get banned, returned to the prior/original owner, etc., after the trade is complete. I would charge 1% of the BTC held, which would include a release tx fee.

This is exactly why i laugh when "reputable people" who i have never traded with try to ensure my trust by saying "look at my history".  No one will ever know who is who unless you know them personally.  Uhg....account sales.   :-\
