Newbie here and I want to start trading soon. Just want to get tips on when to invest on btc and eth. thanks in advance! :)

Welcome to Bitcoin/Cryptocurrency world buddy. If you do really like to make some trades between these coins then as a begginer or complete newbie you should know first important fundamentals to consider first before tending to jump in into trading because its not really easy on making money, you should really be knowledgeable to make profitable trades.Talking on when to invest on btc and eth is when the price is on its dip or lowest because once price do goes up you can make profits on it when you decide to sell.

you can start invest in any price you want and start to trading. but before you do this, i think you need to learn the basic of trading so you know what you want to do. you need to learn to know when the price of btc is down so you can buy with low price than the price now. after you buy bitcoin, you can start to buy eth with your btc. once again, you need to learn to analyze the altcoin movement so you can buy eth in lower price too like you buy bitcoin. i hope you can read many info about trading so you don't make mistake and even you make mistake, as long as you can learn from your mistake, i am sure you can increase your skills in trading. good luck mate.

Generally, everyday is always buying time for BTC and ETH. These two are the highest in terms of price. This two are also trusted and are certainly growing in value. And so I think you can buy anytime, because while waiting the price is also getting higher. But if you are looking short term and wait for the price to dip then I think you will have to wait for some time. That is why my advice is buy as early as possible bro.

Well the short answer is when you feel comfortable and think that the price is ok for you. It's very hard to predict the price of a coin. Bitcoin will be stable for now until the weekend and August 1st, after that no one knows. The price may directly shoot up to $3000 or gradually increase to that point.

When you don't have to pay overpriced rates and it's hit some lows. It all depends on what you're doing, for if you're exchanging or doing quick trades technically you can go in on daily lows but if you're hodling it'd be best to wait for the right time of the month or even season.

what is the right time to invest in cryptoworld buddy ?
right here and right now obviously,but you should know what you can do and your money do.
if you can holding it for a long time,then right now you can start to do that.
but if you can not holding it for a long time,wait for the right time.
for me BTC was the king and always be like that,
so about ETH i am not really sure,but it's have a lot potential in the future

well most of the coins right now are falling and eth can go down still so better to observed more before placing your entry mate there's a lots of influence why
those coins are falling and if you really interested to earn from this pair better to keep an eye from the market and if the price go more deeper buy and hold.

Yeah that's afair idea of an investor to know how sustainable the coins in the marketplace will swing it's tail of trading. While those coins are falling from the previous promising price, thats our great opportunity to buy an asset immediately. That's what we call investments of long term goals waiting for the exact time for the price to increase it's market value in the future. Eth itself has a developing character in terms of exchanging fluctuations and trading it with bitcoins in c-cex for now is having bigger impact to btc economy to soar up higher.

You can start investing now choose if you want ether or bitcoin but i think they are the same good for investment. Buy both of them then hold it for long trade because that two coins are good for long investment.

bitcoin is the only cryptocurrency that has a considerable amount of real demand for it. that means the price is real for the most part and it can be seen from the resistance it has and the demand to buy it up even in this uncertain times that the media is filled with lots of FUD.
to buy bitcoin, any time is a good time. bitcoin is the winner of long terms which means its price will rise in long term even if it has small drops in short term.

ethereum is very different. it is "noisy", they advertise it a lot but it is in a bubble because there has never been any real demand for it. the rise of its price is purely because of 2 things:
the ICO scheme that forced people into buying it
the hype coming from massive advertisement and lies that people FOMO bought it.
investing in it at this point is highly risky in my opinion.

For 1st august panic Now BTC price decreasing and now its 1btc=$2,490 and now ETH price is 1 ETH=$201.43 i think it's time to buy Bitcoin and Ethereum. You can now invest both bitcoin or ethereum. But alt coin investment is more profitable I think. however, first do your own research before making a new investment & dont put all your money in one basket.

Don't buy now, you can waiting after July 28th the happens on market. If still continue bearish trend, I sure 100% the price of Bitcoin and Ethereum will deceasing more now. Not stop at strong support line if have some bad news ::)

My advice to you would be, "don't". You will lose money by trading cryptocurrencies. There are a lot better traders than you and they would eat you alive and take everything you have. If you want to play it safe. Find a good entry price for Bitcoin and hold.

If seen from the last week, there has not been much meaningful movement for these two coins. What is wrong if I think, "wait until the end of this july, if there is still no significant movement, quickly do the purchase" because that I fear, the beginning of August is the beginning of a new pump. And we have no more time to buy a cheaper price.

Buy at a cheap selling price when the price is high. If you want to trade eth coin or something else. There is good you always follow the news. It is to help you in trading.

You may be right, or the price may not change that drastically as many of us expect. If you're in for the long haul and is planning on holding for a long time, then now would be ok to buy both btc and etc. Just be mindful of the market because there will be times that you can take advantage of like what happened with btc a couple of weeks ago and when eth dropped a month or two ago.

It depends to your speculation, predicition , and based on your own resesrch or belief if bitcoin and thereum good to buy for now. Bht for me if you want to buy ethereum and bitcoin you can buy it even they have doubt abiut date of august 1 possible price dumo but I believe it will increase again after few days or maybe few weeks. I think the best way is to develop a strategy and sticking with it. Sometimes you have to go against the what other traders are doing in order to earn profits. The best example is that recently there was a panic selling wave in the market and most of the newbie holders sold their bitcoins in that wave when the price went down and on the other hand smart investors bought more at that time considering long term scenario and now price is getting back to the normal so learn from such incidents.

last week i think bitcoin drops its price like almost $1700 if im not mistaken. and the eth now i think its kinda low than usual, we need to be more pratical and wise. i think it is good to buy eth now because of the issue to it now, buy it when it is low and wait for it until it reaches its high price like last time, perfect timing is needed.

Now would be the right time to invest on Bitcoin and Ethereum because the value of each coin is lower than the previous month, I am sure after this August 1 drama hopefully the prices of these coins would return back to normal or would even reach a new ath in a few months.

I think when last August the price of crypto on market can recovery, not in early August because after active SegWit2x still need more time for system stable and most trader are waiting signal in that time. So, whales will take advantage this happens and control the price of crypto falldown more before they increasing and recovery market (ended bearish trend from June until September or last August)

No matter what, we can aim $350 for ether and $3200 for btc during this complicated market. If you trust ether and btc, you can buy ether or btc below these prices.

The crypto market is quite unpredictable and full of fluctuations. The traders keep on observing extreme changes in the market. I will second your thought that one should get into trading when the prices are within reach or the bitcoins/ altcoins are continuously dumping. It’s wise to buy coins when prices are really low. If you are really serious about bitcoins, get them before August.

Just start anytime you want but you should also know the basic's in trading.
But for my opinion never buy the coin while it is rising up because there is a great chance that after a couple of days or hours it would drop down again.
I think it is best when the price range is being stable for a couple of days but that's just my opinion it's your money so be careful and hope that you would earn a lot in trading.

Good advise, Do not buy when it is already distribution stage. As a general rule, "Buy low,Sell High" but when is the real low and when is high. Just observe the graph always, just set your order on the lowest dip price in history before say 1 week range or before and leave it. Once filled, then you can start to trade.

poloniex and bittrex is a good choices for you but maybe you need to familiar first with only one exchanges so you don't confuse to trading with 2 exchanges. and if you want the other exchanges, you can try with cryptopia and coinexchange, but they are only for small coins which is not listed in the big exchanges so be careful with those 2 last exchanges, cryptopia and coinexchange.

Because of the big update of bitcoin its better to wait on the completion of the update. There are many advising here and was also what I do that we need only trade bitcoin after august 1. In about ethereum, you should trade now because its ok.

It is a good time to invest on eth now as its price is almost half compare to last month.
On btc, it is also still good to invest it now as its price will increase even more in the future.
In knowing when to invest in crypto you should monitor its daily or weekly price so you will know when it is the right time to buy and make some short trades.

Investing in bitcoin is always better and preferably because i feel that ether is surely the next dash it has had a good year in terms of increase in price but it is not as consistent at bitcoin. The time to invest is when BTC and ETH have been dump then go for a long term  like holfing it 5months or 1year. Even try to make it hold 2years if yiu invedted a loy like you invest $10,000 then get back until 2years and you will your investment have been growed

Unfortunately the price downfall for those past days around and that time is the perfect time to invest on bitcoins since many people earned by now for adopting and buying at those downfall rate, But for now we cannot tell if this time is the best time to invest since the august 1 fear is not occuring and might we gonna get a best shot if we could wait for another huge oppurtunities of dump arive so better we need to have an eye for seeing the hourly stats of btc if we want to invest today.

When to invest?

The correct answer is: Yesterday, everyday. If you plan to sit on it just buy and forget and don't watch charts it'll drive you crazy. If you're trying to daytrade your way to your millions then wait for a dip (if there is one after this aug1 stuff).

For btc, now would be a good time to start. Eth also i think is the future of crypto. Feature-wise, i think etherium has better features than btc though bitcoin has alreadu garnered a lot of attention and following. Now would be a good time to get in to both if you ask me.

Bitcoin has a big price now but eth dumps now. So for me better to have an investment on eth now. I believe that it actually happens because of the hacking attacks on it. But it will regain its price so dont be worry instead buy now.

Btc is currently on a verge of pumping ir dumping. While ETH is on dump situation so if we are choosing wisely, ETH is the most precious coin to invest right now.

I prefer to you to invest your money after the August 1 because that is the time that the market will be good again. I can't sure the your money is safe if you invest before the August 1. So I think the best to date to invest your money is after August 1.

I think you need to wait until passed August, it can be risky to try to make trading in this week, all of the things is still unstable, the price of Bitcoin is also not really stable, wait until Bitcoin to stabilize then you can take your action whether you want to invest in Bitcoin or eth or other coins

In the first place know what bitcoin is there usages and its features then second Find out what Ethereum is too. However, while learning and studying those two, you can try to invest in Eth while the price value was cheap then hold, and even Bitcoin you could also buy it in the amount you can afford to do so.

yah don't do any trading that involves bitcoin, wait until the situation gets better although i think it'll be no problem to trade altcoins to altcoins or altcoins to fiat and vice versa.

buy when it dumps just don't expect a huge dump because it might no happen thus resulting in opportunity loss.

Before you start trading, please read some book and join group with trading as their topic. Isn't wise to trade without knowledge? know the risk first. Tips is just find buy area and sell it when the price enter the sell area. You can find this area with an indicator like MACD, stockhastic oscillator, or just using trend line. Do that with demo account to find your best strategy and keeep patience. Good luck.

Invest when others are in fear and selling, nearly everybody knows this statement and its pretty practical.
But for a newbie it might get tough to decide if its the right time or not, so its wise to know about where you will be putting your money.

But for Bitcoin and ETH just study the market, economic activity around the globe and if you can analyse it moderately, you will be fine.
Anyway if you don't mind too long holdings, you can buy them normally anytime, as the past records indicates that clearly, but obviously it doesn't guarantee it will happen again but it can.

yes that is right and i am also sure that after 1st August everything will be so much clear.  and after that we can decide about either we need to invest our money or should wait for a little more time. i am hopeful that situations will become normal after 1st August. therefore we should wait until 1st August meeting become over.

Sincere pieces of advice, though. I will suggest him the same. He should study crypto trading deeply before jumping into crypto market. He should learn when to buy a coin and when to let it go.  Practicing the trading on the demo accounts is worthy. They will give him experience without any risk.

Now is the right time for you to invest ETH.
For BTC investment I think too late. See the current BTC price is very expensive.
But if you want to try it, I suggest to invest 30% -50% considering the BTC is needed.

But if you want to invest your money in a short time period, you will need to keep an eye on the market so as to know when the price has reduce to some extent before you buy.

You must buy bitcoins right now because you will get the bitcoins cash BCH after bitcoin's hard fork be done, it will gives extra coin and profit with easy way just wait for 24 hours but if you don't buy bitcoins right now this chance will be gone and the time to buy ethereum is right now too, because after bitcoin's hard fork, price of ethereum will be more expensive too.

investing $500 every weekend is to difficult for some one which is new in bitcoin world because he need to thinking how to fill his daily need. and before he invest, he must make sure that he still have money to continue his life. it is not funny if he only invest his money in bitcoin without concern of his life.

there're a lot of rumors concerning poloniex and their support desk so bitrex might be a better choice. also you need to study exchange's terms&conditions in view of sec and your goverment regulations. as to investment you must decide whether it'd be on a long-term or not. if you're a long term investor don't keep currencies on exchange it's rather risky to loose. BTC is the opportunity instead of ETH which is not a payment currency and morelikely ethereum fuel.  take care

I agree with you. The time of investments totally depends on the type of investment one wants to make. If profit is required within short time, it is worthy to keenly observe market and grab the desired coin the moment its value drops. Even for the long term investment, you also need to buy coins when they are dumping and keep them in wallets until the prices are touching the sky.

which is the best practice inside trading, never do fomo because its to risky buying when the value is jumping high unless you have a good insight
but much prefer to buy at downfall then wait for the time for the coin to bounce back and rise up much bigger value.

keep tracking the market for awhile, until you are sure that you get the best price and keep calm when you fell not okay and want to sell it under your buying prize. even when you think you're buy the coin in higher prize and it would never give you a profit just consider it as an experience for you.

There is never a good or bad time to buy in, I try my best to buy whenever their prices tank in the hope they will rise again, off course I have no way of knowing if they will rise, it is just blind faith.

If you use your brain and understand the mentality of trader on market, the think of big boy and whales, you can predict the scenario happening on market and have good decision about sell, hold or buy your coin.

that is right that there is no such good or bad time for investment in bitcoin. i think we should try to invest our assets in bitcoin whenever we got it, because the price of bitcoin has still too much potential to increase.

For big coins like bitcoin and eth would be better to follow the whales, just how we set the right price to buy or sell, from my knowledge the coin like that have a high percentage to climb back if there is a dump.

but ethereum is too volatile now and mostly is going down, how can it be a good investment these days!
i keep seeing it go down a lot and then come back a little. it is a good way to make a quick profit in the short time it is fluctuating like this but it certainly is not a good "investment" at the moment.
and besides if you want short term profit from trading in larger percentages there are many other altcoins that can give you much better results. you can see them going up 50%-100% in one day. so why risk with ETH!!!

Yes, these coins surely will be retain back in value even when price dumping takes place. Eth grew all of a sudden in unexpected time frame and this is termed as an temporary pumping, but the same with good stability moves forward making it to be a high valued digital currency next to bitcoin.

You can invest whenever you want. You just have to look at the charts on the market and if you see the price is going down, that's the right time to buy it and start investing. But for now you better invest in ETH if you want to start now. And if you believe bitcoin price will reach $3k then now is the right time to invest in bitcoin.

When? Well if you have the money to invest you need to wait when the market is dump that was much need for you to have a good buy price .In eth it is now on good price because of some issues it dumps but its price goes 0.1 before .

Based on the affordability it's good for users to go with bitcoin or with ethereum. For long term holding its good to go with bitcoin, because price increases in terms of $1000 or more after years. If the amount available for investing is low,  then just try to make profit out of ethereum.

I guess to choose bitcoin over eth, we never need to consider affordability as bitcoin must be one of the secured investment for the future. We cannot be sure about the future of eth. But bitcoin's future is easily predictable as the adoption rate of bitcoin is much better than any other crypto currency including ethereum.

I never consider any altcoin for my long term investments but bitcoin is always my first preference here. Like many people explaining, I'm sure this must be the right time to have some bitcoin for our future.

I was just looking at another thread that was comparing Bitcoin cash and eth. I'm not sure what people feel the correlation between eth and other points is. Fact is there huge list of coins brand new ones every day to invest in sometimes we can't figure out what we want to touch next week just sit there and watch the up and down volume in the up-and-down prices until we see something that sticks out .

Trading cryto is easy but makes you confused. You just buy and sell. Buy when the price is cheap and sell at the time the price goes up. That's what you have to do. But you have to be careful. You should be able to predict the market price at that time. Lest you lose the chance. You better hold your coins ..

There is no particular time to invest in bitcoins and eth or whatever coins it is. As long as you have coins to invest, you can invest it immediately. Holding your coins in you wallets is also a form of investing, because your saving it to gain profit out of it. Values of coin can either increase or decrease you always need to take risk. Just hold it as long as you can and do not sell in it is not necessary. Having an investment especially bitcoins can make anybody rich.

Whenever you want you can invest in cryptocoin. If you feel less timely to invest in btc, maybe eth can be an option. Like me, start adding investment portion on eth. Without worrying if price goes down. I am not looking for profit on this day, but profit in the future.

Probably when you money to invest in, if you have that coin you can invest in that anytime. But kidding aside, on investing on bitcoins everyday is a bitcoin day so invest in bitcoins as soon as possible because the value of it always rises. And just find a high potential project to invest in to gain more money or to gain more profit than just holding your coins and waiting to pump.

Between the two, now's quite a good time to invest on bitcoin more than eth. Etherium probably is still pretty stagnant but it's second only to btc for altcoin investments so there may come a time when it will shoot up as well. Actually any time would be a good time to enter both these cryptocoins

Btc and ETH price regularly increase so any time you can buy. You want to trade . if you want trade you don't find only btc and ETH price you follow other alt coin. ETH pump but it not long time so you wait for low rate .
