Ripple XRP, dominating all the cryptocurrency in the first half of 2017 and prediction says it will reach to 4000% in 2nd Quarter!

Who is making this speculation past i seen lots of investment speculation for ripple now 4000% increase in 2nd quarter of year which is already finished baseless point .

at most it will recover to 20K sat within the end of the year.

Ripple is good coin to hold long-term but not going up 4000% anytime soon! Maybe over next few years  :)

I'd be very surprised at 4000% in second quarter (I assume you're talking financial quarter rather than calendar).
I do believe in XRP long-term, and given that much of Ripple's development happens behind closed doors and out of public view, I don't think this is a coin that will increase in price gradually. When the increase happens it will be a sudden phenomenal burst. But 2nd qtr 201718 is too early. The liquidity isn't there yet in the target corridors for one thing.

and witin 2018 it might make new highest,..... I just think that it would be that much.

Crypto land would be bigger after end of this year (if BTC is still solid, if BTC is going to destroy it self then we ll need more time to recover and to reach this current moment).

Will be a marketcap of ~260B for ripple.
Might be possible, but not this year. And very hard to reach in the next 4 years.
But who knows, whats behind the curtain?
If ripple will be the number one value-transferer on this planet, used by banks, countries, companies, customers, 260B will be peanuts...

sorry to disappoint you but the 2015 big pump is repeating itself here again. and we are here that i marked on the charts. after a bubble in the uncertain period when people think there is still hope and are still buying into the bubble while whales are getting ready to start dumping as soon as number of bids grew more.

Whilst Rippled does have potential if more, large banks uptake it. There are 1 billion coins coming into the market every month, this increases its market share massively, without the coin price rising so the current valuation is a fair one. I still hold several thousand but that's more because i like the project than any real belief in making a huge gain.

True and it must be admitted that ripple is a remarkable coin and very high rise in price, I regret not invest into this ripple and I hope there is still a chance to make a profit.

- Potential is the technology of ripple, not the coin. So I think the bank that accepts technology of ripple also will not help the price of the ripple increase, and now is the awful time of the ripple
- Because the price of the ripple is decreasing dramatically, until now still no signs of stopping, so many people are losing faith and abandoning it. I think the price of the ripple is difficult to increase again, unless the miracle appears

If you still want earning profit with Ripple, I suggest you use technical analysic in chart XRP for check periodic up/down on market. In current, I checked and predict the price Ripple in next time maybe falldown to range @5000 - @4000 sat for each. Because it have a bearish trend very stable and not have signal for bounce at now.

I think you're talking about the cryptographically-secured escrow, it's not 1B but up to 1B they're allowed to sell and if you check the numbers they distribute a lot less each month. But in case they sign a big contract and need to distribute more XRP on a specific month, that's the maximum they're allowed to (again by cryptographic rules).

I strongly agreed with you. Ripple has perished away from the face of earth and there are not in chances in fraction of its revival. I guess all those who are still supporting ripples must be living in dream world. Here the crypto currencies especially bitcoins are leading the market. I don’t think so ripples can again be back in form.

I very much dislike projects where the devs hold a majority of the available coins and ripple is one the worst case of this. I sold all my ripple a while ago and have 0 plans of buying it back again. There are dozens of better projects out there.

You are right still, there is a big chance for investors who invest in this XRP. Mainly XRP blockchain is based on for Banking platform for smooth transactions. Till now there are many banks are showing interest towards this blockchain and its functionalities.

LOL, what a great prediction, predicting something that has already happened, I have another prediction, the sun is going to shine in the sky tomorrow, but on topic that is not going to happen Ripple is never going to go above bitcoin in market cap.

If it has been made in march this year (end of first quarter) it was absolutely right:
March: XRP at 500 sat
May (second quarter): 22,000 sat

4400%

(And this was just the first recognization of a profitable coin by the market ...)

I thought it must be April Fools Day when I read the line: ripple is going to reach 4000% in 2nd Quarter.

Somehow I just don't see it happening.

However the price will develop, is actually anybody using XRP? I used to be very annoyed about the slow transfer times between exchanges using BTC. I now just convert to Ripple and in one instant it is at the other exchange. Convert it back to BTC and trade.

This process used to be very painful, specially doing it with BTC and seeing the price drop, awaiting confirmations. INSTANT. That is exactly how it should be.

So who is actually using it, or anyone else just hoarding it, hoping to gain another 4000%?

I really don't see Ripple exploding like this. It's would be great if it did but this feels like some scammy pump action.

Me neither, maybe a mid term rise like 3-5x.
But I am just wondering if anyone is actually using XRP on a day to day basis. For me it makes trading much more comfortable.  Send Fiat to Bitstamp 1-2 business days. Buy XRP send to Bitfinix: instant. trade, convert back to XRP & send to Bittrex: instant. Try to do that with BTC.. I now can instantly react to the market.

I like Ripple & it is fast. We'll see how it pans out in the next few weeks.

One thing I will say is that it is an interesting project & the Drama with Stellar intrigues me.
