Please tell me 1 coin to keep an eye or hold in August 2017. Thanks in advance.

Bitcoin of course. Wait and try to get some really cheap. Place really low buy orders, there might be some huge flash dumps. Hold it in a wallet and get some of the other chain, what's it called, bcc. I'll be trying to get some cheap byteball also.

Many projects are using ethereum and waves platform, I think ethereum and waves is good option after bitcoin. Ethereum price is expensive (suitable if you have a lot of money) and waves is a good price because still cheap.

I think the coin best to buy in the month of august 20q7 is still its a bitcoin why? Because on that month theres no doubt about the people mind. And for sure many people invest in bitcoin because no doubt and for sure the price will increase again and you will earn a lot of profit after few months of holding and maybe you will become rich if you buy thousands of bitcoins. More bitcoin more money.

I think ️DGB, ️XRP, ️Dash are good variants.

Bitcoin Cash would be the obvious answer. Post the hard fork on August 1, there will be a massive rush to dump BCC coins on whichever exchange lists them. After that, we will have to see where the true value of BCC settles.

If Bitcoin's hard fork is successful you should try to buy it and hold it for long time because it will rise soon or you may stick to ethereum or waves since those two coins are solid and using it on any new project nowadays.

If ETC is used as an historical indicator, it will be a huge dump into near worthless, and then people slowly realize this thing isn't going anywhere and can have value due to existence of the "purists", then it'll slowly gain value, but won't reach the value of the mainstream fork.

i think wait and see about hardfork result, can buy bitcoin is low price after hardfork is very good, if not accident spilit chain

Decred and litecoin may be good picks for next year. ;)

Keep your money only on bitcoin by that time and have faith in it, I know there is a chance that one will profit in august 2017 fork. If you really want to hedge onto an altcoin, I suggest to hedge on LTC now, it is a lot better to use for hedging than other coins, because it already has segwit implemented and is sitting at a regular price, not a hyped one unlike ETH that is still sitting on a high price.

The best ico coin to invest in august would surely be bitdice if you are not aware they have closed their bankroll and decided to expand bitdice to fiat gambling also , not only that if you hold their tokens you will get 70% of the company profit this is surely a really good ico after a long time. Dimcoin also seems to have a really good future in my opinion.
If you want to invest in a established coin them look out for ltc it had a price of 0.02 but now at 0.016 so this is surely a good trading strategy .

You could give bitcoin cash a chance if the split occurs. During the split bitcoin may go bokers due to the panic and at the same time bitcoin cash may gain value (Just a speculation). Ethereum also may face an upward flow in the price if the ico scene is stable enough and if no more hacking is going to take place.

Hacking is irrelevant, it just wipes out the careless babies and teaches careful new investors a valuable lesson. It's not like the Blockchain has been compromised, people simply fell victim to classical phishing.

For long time investment I will always chose ethereum, and for gambling I will go on Netko

Are you sure you will only be fixated on one option? There are some altcoin that I think deserve to be maintained. Like Waves and LTC. The Waves platform is now widely used by ICO coin developers as their base. And LTC is an old coin, and no doubt about it. If unsure, try your analysis of these two altcoins.

A good question but hard to answer this.
We all dont know what could happen. So even we suggest something it will just be a prediction and you cannot rely with that.
Perhaps, monitoring the price of every coin will be the key here. You will need to look at them very closely after this August 1. As of now, my alts have not been withdrawn thinking there will be something good that will happen with the alts prices.

I think Octanox will be a great investment in August, It still near to ICO price and the CEO announced that have a great news for August 1st, a new web, new road map, and will announce the data release of the exchange (It will be in August). I think it will be a great multiplataform with a great CEO.

The bad thing is where to buy, they are only on Livecoin and Cryptopia.

I think the best coin to buy on August 1 is still bitcoin. If ever the price drops on August 1 it's advisable to buy coins. Whatever coin drops on August 1 will be the best choice. If the bitcoin's value drops on that date, it will surely increase just within a mount. I think it's worth to invest on it.

yes i agree with you, best for buy still bitcoin, but if you have more money you can buy litecoin and etherum i think that coin have a good price althought the price down now but i believe the price will be increase next two month. Make own your decision and be patient until the right time to sell it and got the profit.

It would be better to invest more than 1 coin because you have other source to back up your losses and you can earn some opportunities if you hold more than 1 coin also you can maximize your profit if you do that.

Well, it's hard to speculate which cryptocurrency will go very cheap on August 1. But, I think that if ever if your going to buy coins on August 1, it's better if you'll look for coins that are cheap and has high potential. Just stick to the basic concept of buying coins. Let's just wait and see what will happen on that date.

Bitcoin if split happens and also Waves its still cheap to buy and hold it because lots of ICO happening based on ethereum platform even you can trade the tokens on ethereum platform also you can give lease its really promising.

Well, recently ICOs use platform Waves very interesting with investor in ICOs market. In current have 2 project I following is Bowhead Health and Mokey Capital, they are promising project and very potential. I believe the future ICOs use Waves blockchain will replace Ethreum soon

In my opinion you should diversify on many coins. I would buy old coins/tokens and also taking part in ICO/crowdfunding.

NEM is one coin you need to keep an eye on, you'll regret it if you don't invest in that coin. But if you have the budget to invest on altcoins, it is actually much safer to divide your capital to the coins you think are best to invest on after August 1, choose at least four of the best coins so far so when one goes down you still have three more coins that have chances to increase.

Waves could work well, since it still hasn't reached its last ATH again. I don't think it will double or triple in such a short time frame though.

There are many kind of coin from the coins market and trading site which is has the potential to become increase with in a week and a month and also a good start to invest with or to hold too  ethereum and bitcoin are the best option but if you had enlugh money to invest then try another different alternative coin which is ico to get more profit the the ico will be successful don't forget to research before doing it.

If you need 1 coin I'd say GUP (Matchpool). Don't try to sell it at 31st August though.
If you need more than 1 coin I'd say Decred, Ethereum, WAVES. All these coins are good for long term.

your suggestion is good enough for a long term because all of your coins list will increase high in future and fortunately, i have this coin too so i will keep in my wallet. maybe the other coin will work too like NXT, XRP (i still believe that this coin will high too), litecoin (this will follow), STRAT (i have this also). all of the coins list have potential to go higher than before but before you buy one or more in my list, it is always better to analyze each of coins so you can determine what will works best for you.

I would go for bitcoin. There is no other more promising coin in this entire world of cryptocurrencies than the king of them all. Most especially right now when the price of BTC is climbing smoothly higher and higher everyday without any distracting FUDS.

If you do that you will skip many opportunity get rich on cryptocurrency on market, because at now is period growth of Bitcoin, so the price of Bitcoin increasing in this month.
But if next month is period growth of altcoin market, the price of Bitcoin maybe stable or falldown for cede altcoin go the moon.

Yes I think so, this month is an increase in bitcoin price after the split process and next month it's time altcoin will go up, for now I hold waves and dogecoin hopefully will be increase next month.

well after correction alts will go and bounce up maybe you can new ico coins and look for the one who will fits to your taste
