Hey everyone,

Myself and a small team of developers are working on a space sim game. The game is set in the far future where the economy is completely run on top of blockchain Tech. By playing the game people will learn about blockchain tech and how it can influence the world around them.

Items in the game will exist on the blockchain and be tradable in game as well out of game.
Accounts will be tokens on the blockchain and tradable.

We are looking for feedback on these ideas and would love community input. Please leave feedback and if you want we have a short 6 question survey.

It sounds pretty cool especially if you could trade real items for in-game items and have it recorded on the block chain. I personally would love to trade a kitchen set for a sick spaceship...

I left my feedback. I like the idea of a game that helps people to learn about blockchain, since I believe in the future of the technology.
But I think the game needs to have more than that to keep people interested.

I left my feedback. I think this game could be really interesting. This will bring fun and learning at the same time. This could be like a simulation game which couldn't be just fun but gamers will be informed about blockchain

I filled out the form for you. I think you should have the game work with your own altcoin. You should add or mining and stuff so you can mine them in the game. Try to make it like Eve online that sort of idea.

If it teaches Blockchain tech then this surely is a good idea.

But this is a bit refreshing, nice idea and if properly
developed could be quite popular.

I like the idea of trading crypto tokens to advance
in the game.

I think all this depends on how you make it, because after I opened the link you gave did not see something very important, and I just see a question only, then what should I choose while I do not see anything there. Maybe i can only give you a very good idea feed for this. :D

Idea is good but before releasing you should be sure about everything related to this game like marketing, software otherwise might be waste of time.

Good idea.. but the execution should de good too.. no one will play a bad game, no matter what they can learn about the blockchain :)

It's a good idea but I bet that only crypto user will gonna use it and not for everyone. Because will not gonna entertain normal people that's why only few percentage of the total people on the world are fully aware on the existence of blockchain and what it's use.

The use of BC won't make it a great game.

1. Concentrate on making a small great gameplay that will be core of the game. Make no quests or anything. Just the pure gameplay.
2. Try to advertise it to get free registrations and understand the cost of it.
3. Add payments for something premium to understand if people are willing to pay for your gameplay.

Making a successful game is about getting registrations cheaper then you earn from them within 1 year.
Games don't market  themselves on a pure idea now.

If you want to crowdfund it - you need a great name between gamers and awesome marketing skills.

Sound good but I think this project not have more user interesting. Because the technology blockchain in current still very new with most people in economic class. Maybe, when Bitcoin accept by more country as Japan in current, the technology blockchain will interesting with more company on the world's and need have worker in it.

This might be true but it depends on the game itself.

Since no details about the game have been provided it is impossible to say.

Hopefully they will come up with a game that is appealing to everyone and also teaches them about crypto. That may be impossible but anything can happen in crypto.
