Title: Paradice.io phishing Primedice users
Post by: Stunna on July 26, 2017, 04:10:35 AM
https://i.imgur.com/sa90Zvj.jpg

On July 24th, Primedice staff were made aware of a phishing website attempting to trick users into depositing into an investment version of the website. We took immediate action into sending abuse complaints to the DNS registrar and server host.

Upon inspection of the phishing website, we found that the SSL certificate used was shared by other domain names including paradice.io and kingdice.io. After some further investigation, we found that four domains used the exact same cloudflare nameservers, which is a very unlikely coincidence. These domains were paradice.io, kingdice.io, primedice.co and the domain registered for phishing, bitcointalk users have previously linked paradice.io to primedice.co (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1844659.msg18510402#msg18510402).

Primedice staff were able to find cached google and bing results for the phishing domain, which show the website title as “PARADICE | One Step Ahead! - Bitcoin Dice Game..”

Primedice also found a google result which shows that both paradice.io and the phishing url have the same overall website structure, in the Google result image below, you can see ajax requests are sent to /content/ajax/unprotect_url.php?_unique=token, the exact same way the paradice.io website works. Adding to this, the phishing url reports Apache as the webserver, paradice.io has this field hidden, but it is clearly an Apache error page that shows up.

Furthermore, paradice.io has been found to lift assets directly from Primedice in the past, including the favicon, and faq text. Not surprisingly their website isn't provably fair either.

Update: Reports were successful, now both Paradice and the phishing website are down.

No surprise that site is just a scam. It were already a few scam  accusations on the site. Good to see him busted like this.

To be honest, I didn't expect this from them, They looked so promising and honest and after their 1 scam accusation was resolved I was sure they will not do anything wrong to cause someone harm.
But you can't deny the proof Stunna has offered.

Edit: after some research, i don't think this proof is enough to call out paradice did it. As you can see kingdice is also on that list.

what a huge letdown. I've had a few bets on paradice.
You've offered pretty promising proof, paradice is at fault here. Awaiting their explanation to this accusation (if they have any).

As far as I read their website it is fair. I mean their algorithm for creating bets is more than fair.

But this.. is more than I expected. What I recomend to Stunna is to get in touch with owner of paradice and try to solve this problem even if they need to buy the domain.

This is only against primedice users and destroying the image of primedice or kingdice.

There is no way to atack them legally. For sure the owner is not using his identity if he is doing such pushing websites. I really atack this website for doing this and they should be removed from this forum or the name paradice to be seem as spam.

Till that moment try to fix this issue, a topic on bitcointalk wont affect them from stealing gamblers money.

As I understand from you I see that dicendice is an idiot and most probably a scammer.

About user robo even me that i am not so active in the gamble area I see he is always present in Paradice topic.

For sure they are not the same person because even if you have a shitty casino you will never wear a signature. But I strongly believe he is a friend or an employee of Paradice owner.

Anyway it is intersting finding by Stunna, curious to know how paradice defending themselve about this fact.

Yea that's true.
Suppose you are in the signature campaign of bitvest in case they scam you will not be blamed for it do you ? " I am not saying bitvest is scamming just taking as an example "

After their website was released then they said that they want to run a signature campaign on this forum and I asked them if I can manage it.
I got a reply in 4 hours and got paid in advance so it was hard for me to believe that they will scam as they always paid me in time to manage their campaign .
And it was my job to stay active on paradice thread as I was paid for it nothing more.

But I want to hear from them what happened. Regarding this thread.

This is the interesting part on how they would defend such very obvious proofs from stunna.  what really a shame on such actions came from paradice.  I have heard this site wayback before but knowing that it has issues then it turns out to be shaddy since from the start.

We're solving this accussion/problems really soon.

Also our website will be available again within short time, faster and more stable then ever.

It is not fair to tell people that we would "phishing Primedice users", we never did that and never will do so!
We respect Primedice and it's leaders, but why are you tryn to ruin our fresh startup like that? Also earlier in our mainthread we had the same discussion already, now putting it into the crowd with no reason?

As mentioned in our mainthread, we've had bought some domains from start-up (primedice.co as example) which redirects to our site for SEO purposes.

Also, what you did there is called a Nameserver-lookup and it shows various domain-names related with those Nameservers you searched for. It is showing all sites from cloudflare that are using this nameserver-combination, which doesn't mean that this are all our's.

Primedice reported our site to Cloudflare and they claimed that we were "phishing Primedice users", therefore Cloudflare has blocked our Domains for security review.

best regards, Casimir -Paradice.io

...because you ran multiple sites designed to steal money from people, while targeting PrimeDice's customers.

Even ignoring the fact that's not even ethical in itself, it's bullshit. You were hosting phishing sites and trying to scam people into investing.

You didn't even deny it. Also the fact that your site and all the phishing sites went down when cloudflare took action is pretty strong evidence that you operated all of them.

To be clear we reported the phishing website to cloudflare NOT paradice. Paradice simultaneously went down which further proved that you were running the phishing sites.

Had the known about this ? IMHO,they  deserve a negative if they were still managing a campaign when they knew the site is phishing PD.

As mentioned in our mainthread, we've had bought some domains from start-up (primedice.co as example) which redirects to our site for SEO purposes.
You don't run a phishing site for the SEO purposes. You can go to Jail for that.

I would just like to say to all, I told you so.

Also to Roboabhishek, you dumb-ass who keeps on protecting your "legit" employers!

Even yahoo gives up an employer if they turn into a scam! You are a reluctant to admit and accept back then when my scam accusation was still open that they are a scam! Tsk. Now better go wipe your ass with what you said.

To Paradice, go away scammers. You all know what you are doing, stop defending yourselves and just shut down your scam site!

I have a question though. How were they able to get hold of primedice's domain? From the screenshot of the phising site it says there clearly that it was "invest.primedice.com" and not a ".co" domain. Can someone just create a subdomain of a domain they don't control?

I know you intentionally tried to rip my reputation in your thread and then deleted every reply I made on your thread when I asked for loan.. anyways i got loan from Darkstar.
I did want to bring everything on this thread coz this thread is not for that.

On the other hand ... Employee ? are u retarded kid or what?
I worked for their campaign till they had neutral feedback.
Also, The scam accusation you made I never said you are a liar !!!
I just said that could be a bug like I faced a few times on Primedice but my balance was not affected But never said you lied or anything related to that better see it again.
But you arrogant kid want to fight for small things when someone shares their views with you one which you disagree.

My loan thread has nothing to do here, I deleted your post coz it is spammy. I asked you to do one thing (ie signing a simple ass message) and you couldn't. How would I even rip your reputation there? Also there are logs that it got deleted by the way.

You know for yourself that you defended these scumbags in multiple threads and not just my scam accusation but also in their ANN and one of their games and rounds thread. Again, I reiterate, you can even check the trustpage of Yahoo, who returned the escrowed funds for a scam ICO. They returned it to the investors and they turned in their employers. In your case, what did you do? You continue to support their claims, say they were innocent, and bla bla fanatic supporter bs. If you were for justice, then you could have done the same as Yahoo. Indirectly, you still supported your scammer friends at paradice.

How was I arrogant in my scam accusation? Also take note, I never did even talk arrogant in my accusation, in fact they were the first ones to be hostile in that thread. 10mbtc was nothing, what I wanted was that these scumbags get closed down ASAP. Now look at where we are now. If we had these scammers closed the very moment I found their shitty way of running things then we could have avoided this kinds of steps they did.

Like what you are advertising, another gambling site that clearly was proven before scammed a player, and now you are also still supporting another one. Clearly talks great about you.

I am not only me who was supporting paradice. In the start after their -ve was removed by DT members for you i dont know why they removed it but i was feeling safe to help them.
But now you are blaming me for that ?
One more thing for you to learn about this forum! : You can support anyone until they are clean.
Not to mention I was only against MafiaCoin and DDice or whatever because everyone knows here that they both are same person and ran a multiple of scams. I was never against you.
I don't fear because I never did anything wrong. Everything I did was legal on this forum and never tried to pull a scam or helped anyone to scam.

I have a question though. How were they able to get hold of primedice's domain? From the screenshot of the phising site it says there clearly that it was "invest.primedice.com" and not a ".co" domain. Can someone just create a subdomain of a domain they don't control?

The domain they have is:

xn--prmedice-ukb.com

but on some browsers (I believe due to a chrome bug in handling the retarded puny code domain stuff, I believe) will show up as:

prımedice.com

which looks almost identical to primedice.com.   I think the chrome bug should be fixed by now though.

But anyway, then paradice.io took advantage of that to try scam people. Obviously it has nothing to do with SEO or anything...

If that's the case then i hardly believe that someone inside from paradice ditched them.
Because it's very hard to find that url it's not even on the google after your search it.
In the end it went good for everyone

Thanks Rhavar for clearing that up. From just looking at the link, I have no doubt that it would easily fool a lot of people! Good thing Primedice caught wind of it quick before someone could have been scammed by these guys! I never really thought this was possible, I can't imagine till what extent will these scammers go just for a quick buck!

Man, you really need to check your grammer because what you wrote makes no sense what so ever.

The website is not fake, the domain is just a trick to steal potential Primedice customers on their website. Many trademark issues with what they tried to do.

Well to be honest, by law they did nothing wrong. And this is a simply fact. For EU laws what they did is legal.

Also I can't understand why their topic is still active...

I'm pretty sure fraud is illegal in most if not all countries. They were misrepresenting themselves to be PD and pretending that PD was raising investments which they would just put in their pocket, that's outright scamming.

I think some people are misunderstanding what they were doing, view the picture on the opening post of the fake investment page they made.

No idea what EU laws are exactly but I am pretty sure they have a law against trademarks.

If I open up a store called "Applee" and try to sell cell phone and computers, you don't think I am breaking any laws?

If it was just a clone website that would be a minor issue. The bigger issue is imagine if "Applee" sold you computers that stole money from you. :\

Now-a-days, clone is the first step of a scam. In another instance, block-bet.info (which is allegedly run by known scammer girlbtc.com (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2039439.0)) has outright copied the long standing blockchain based gambling game chain-bet.com and now falsely claiming 1% house edge on their title (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2018816.msg20513151#msg20513151).
