Title: Are HD-accounts and "conventional/non-changing addresses at the same time possib Post by: joe1234 on July 26, 2017, 02:51:21 PM Hello forum
Are HD-accounts and "conventional/non-changing addresses at the same time possible in Mycelium? Thank's a lot Joe PS I have to admit that - after having the possibility of having a HD-account - which does solve the "problems" with "Change Addresses", i could not see yet the advantage of a conventional/non-changing address anymore :-) Title: Re: Are HD-accounts and "conventional/non-changing addresses at the same time possib Post by: HCP on July 27, 2017, 04:50:33 AM The short answer is yes.
Press the "Add key" button on the accounts page: https://talkimg.com/images/2023/11/15/zq5O1.png?1 Scroll to the bottom and press "Advanced": https://talkimg.com/images/2023/11/15/zq9Cm.png?1 Pick your "import" method, 'Scan', 'Paste' or 'Generate' (Take note of the warning about needing to do backups!): https://talkimg.com/images/2023/11/15/zqBvW.png?1 Your new "one off" key/address displays under "Other Accounts": https://talkimg.com/images/2023/11/15/zqgiJ.png?1 Title: Re: Are HD-accounts and "conventional/non-changing addresses at the same time possib Post by: joe1234 on July 31, 2017, 03:04:47 PM Thank you very much for the feedback!
-> (Take note of the warning about needing to do backups) Is this also the case for HD-accounts (my idea was that with the initial 12 word backup seeds everything in the future should be includes as well)? Thank's a lot! The note about needing to do backups, only applies to the "Singe Address Accounts" created by importing a private key |
