Yeah I'd much like to know how to help getting the genesis block. 3MH/s ready to go here. 6Mh/s if someone uploads a windows client, I can't build that.
Also 5MH/s from me

here's the windows daemon: https://mega.co.nz/#!P0hxFLjI!NtvycGW2xAZPmoXrGywnDHRoBwUmH0igQzhNw0zhEvU

just let it run if it crashes --> good! genesis block @ debug.log

Solo mining is the same as ever, create the elacoind.conf with default values, start the daemon, mine.

Fast, I was at 150 on my linux box.

:-/ orphan factory launch... I'm getting tons of accepted blocks but 99% orphans. *sigh*

I thought the initial difficulty was promised to be a sane value... Oh well...

BTW if you haven't got the latest github change pull it in else bad things when we hit the first difficulty adjustment according to hazard.

It's all the preminer's fault, which required a emergency genesis.

I understand relaunching fast because you wanted to save face, but this was a really bad idea. There are still too many problems for you to launch like this. The least of which is that half the people eagerly wanting to mine your coin at original launch are in bed after you fucked up the first time. Instead of getting everything corrected and ready, and then pre-announcing the coin's corrected launch time, you are rushing it out the door again. Not wasting any more of my time on this.

Whats up with all the rejected blocks and 1 coin per block payout?

Lol at the people trying to mine without bothering to read the original thread.    On this coin the payout is proportional to the difficulty, Difficulty 0 = 1 coin.   Higher Difficulty = Higher Payout.  The whole point of this coin is that early miners don't get a benefit over later miners.

I can't sync either.  Compile with PNP support, over 25 connections, 0 blocks, can't sync blockchain with no obvious messages in debug log.

Did you get elacoin-qt working?
I gave up on compiling QT versions of alt coins about 73 failed tries ago.

Is there a split going on? Successfully mining using elacoind , currently at block 18xx, , node well connected, whereas the pool states something about being at block 13xxx?
I'm on block ~2200.  If the block chain is > 13xxx then I am screwed.  Please please report your block length. :) :)

Pool seems to have done a reset and is now at block 6xx , now catching up...
Solo miners at an advantage? All pool shares now invalid?

If pool if reloading blocks, then yes total failure.

To elacoin developers:

Please take your time and properly do a relaunch when important ingredients like Windows binaries and hopefully a functional pool are ready. Rushing elacoin out like this does not help it's long term future.  :-\
