Well I don't know about the coin, but given the recent issues with BTC-E, it's sure that decentralized exchanges are the future. Investing in one if them is definitely the thing to do.

This, we cannot ignore any longer the issue, an exchange is just a big point of failure look at what happen to Mt Gox and all the hell it brought to bitcoin, investing in decentralized exchanges now it is a good idea because at some point those are going to be the future of cryptocurrencies, so to me this seems like a safe bet if you want to make some earnings.

How does it fare vs it's competitors? aren't there a couple of Decentralized exchange projects currently being developed?

They say, that they are decentralized, but they are not. Blocknet is the only one so far, which gives you full control over your coins. You'll have all your own coins on your own device. No coloured coins or shit like this. No need to deposit your coins somewhere else. This is the reason, why the price of BLOCK is that strong at the moment. And this will be the reason, why the price of BLOCK will rise further on. Decent project. Good investment.
