Which coin can be used for real day-to-day payment these days?

Depending on one's needs, you could use XMR for example for private payments.

What do you mean by "day-to-day payment"?

Merchants accepting it as a form of payment, not just trading.

Is your mean want find altcoin with cheap fees and sending fast, is right? If right, I suggest you can try Digibyte - best altcoin I know have speed create transaction + sending fastest in crypto world. And about the fees is very cheap, maybe not need care that.

OP should clarify the question unless he's trolling. What does day to day payments mean? You can get a BTC debit card for example and purchase almost anything with it. No other crypto comes close. On the other hand you can always convert other cryptos to BTC and still use your BTC debit card, so... what is the point of this question?

Totally agree. BTC it's the only coin that it's widely accepted in a variety of stores and companies.

I think, ETH is the most accepted altcoin in offline stores and restaurantes. But indeed it depends on own needs. If you fore example support or pay for health services and projects then curecoins and carecoins are good choices.

Waves is useful to create more tokens. But  some  tokens from waves are useless . Many coins and new tokens in ICOs just to make money for developers, however we are waiting the execution of the roadmaps. When they roadmap date to 2018. I think I am not sure about the project, is it real projects or fake projects.

I am yet to come across an alt coin that has real life usage,the only coin that rules the entire crypto currency world is bitcoin and from what i know only bitcoin can be used when it comes to real life usage but i have seen some opinion about some other coins being used in Netherlands but i am not sure about that because it is no way near my place.

Ethereum or dash maybe. But it looks so difficult to see the altcoin that has used for the daily life. But I have ever seen the ethereum token has used to made day-to-day payment like you said. But over 90% of altcoin never be used to fill our daily life. Too many of them were building from the crap intention.

Oviously btc is more  accepted  than any other coin.but after btc i think eth,ltc,waves,doge, dash will be used in real life usage.

Nothing beats bitcoin yet since thefe are lots of feature it have, then in terns of alts it maybe depends on the alt project on what ICO it came from some ICO were for personal use and sone for applications.

Why not have Digibyte for real life usage? I think Digibyte in current is best choice for sending money because creating transaction very fast and cheapest fee in crypto world. When Bitcoin have issue about transaction and high fees, I alway choose Digibyte for replace it. And just after 3 minutes you can receive/sending money complete, better than Bitcoin more.

For me I think it is Factom, the project looks very simple with little hype unlike most recent Altcoin projects that seems like building castle in the air, they have a working products and have struck several partnership in CHina. 

You are mentioning "day-to-day", is that like daily usage? I think XRM or waves platform is going to reach that level when you can use those coins to pay for your daily payments such as buying or paying fees/ taxes, etc.

As we know, in some counties, people can use bitcoin to buy something. So I think it will not too long to use some altcoin to buy some special product or service. For example, use MYST coins to buy VPN service.

In my opinion, game coins and casino coins will have the most real life usage as those communities will be the most populated ones. There are some new ICO's running right now and will have a great future.

Looks like it, which is quite frankly a bit disappointing. We are trading in a 100 billion market cap asset with very little day-to-day life usage bar trading and online betings.

Based on my surrounding, bitcoin is the most usable cryptocurrency here in our place. Its usage ranges from online transaction to currency exchanges. Maybe because bitcoin is the most popular cyptocurrency here. Most of our local online workers was exposed on bitcoins first, second is etherium and the other cryptocurrencies are still unfamiliar

Not sure about the question. There's a big difference between real-life usage and day-to-day payment. A lot of coins aren't supposed to be day-to-day payment - XRP for example is 3rd in marketcap (yes, I'm ignoring BCH  :P ), but the purpose of XRP is international transfers; it may be quick and low-cost, but its primary purpose isn't for buying stuff over the counter in a local shop.

For day-to-day payment though, obviously bitcoin. But more will inevitably follow.

Well you can use doge for real life usage if you are looking for a real day to day payment but many doesnt accepf it s there are others that I would like to mention. Monero and Zcash has been used in payments everyday in deepweb. They are good to use to pay someone when you are looking for anonymity. These currencies can be used for real day to day payments these days if you would like to buy in deepweb.

Many designed with proposed real world usage, but none actually put to permanent real world use. Humaniq wants to bank the poor unbanked of Africa and India with mobile phone face recognition. Really?
