Title: Lots of new GPU miners since January Post by: organofcorti on May 14, 2013, 02:33:30 PM I just posted an update to the two previous Miner hashrate posts, 12.1 The pre-ASIC network hashrate distribution (http://organofcorti.blogspot.com/2013/04/121-pre-asic-network-hashrate.html) and 12.2 Pool and network miner hashrate distributions (http://organofcorti.blogspot.com/2013/05/122-pool-and-network-miner-hashrate_3.html). I've added a couple of charts and a table, showing how various hashrate user accounts have changed over time.
I thought the most interesting result was the fact that even the number of low hashrate user accounts has increased significantly:

I'd be interested to have a look back in a month or so when the BTC price will have stabilized, see if they're still mining with the increased difficulty. Do you think there is a way to find out after how long they might drop out?
