Title: Re: Just set up my little bitcoin mining kit - advice welcomed! Post by: #Darren on May 14, 2013, 04:06:14 PM Should look exactly like that. :) Ah, I see.. I am using GUIminer (v2012-12-03) which seems to be a different program to GUIminer-script but I will dl it and give it a go - will report back with results. Thanks again :) Title: Re: Just set up my little bitcoin mining kit - advice welcomed! Title: Re: Just set up my little bitcoin mining kit - advice welcomed! Post by: autodidactic on May 14, 2013, 04:17:15 PM Not a problem. I just didn't want you disheartened by the 560 kh/s that you get at first start. :p

Post by: -ck on May 16, 2013, 01:32:30 AM This should bring you up to 750 kh/s each card brah: You are giving him settings for something that is not bitcoin mining and the opening poster is mining bitcoins on slush's pool, so your settings will not help him.GPU_threads:2 --shaders 2048 worksize:256 intensity: 13 vectors:1 thread concurrency: 8192 Title: Re: Just set up my little bitcoin mining kit - advice welcomed! Still, thanks to autodidactic, I am interested in litecoin and will give it a trial spin :) Title: Re: Just set up my little bitcoin mining kit - advice welcomed! I have them now running at approx 575-580 M/hash x 2 Title: Re: Just set up my little bitcoin mining kit - advice welcomed! I have them now running at approx 575-580 M/hash x 2 I'm running 5 of those same cards and they run stable at 660-675Mh/s for log periods of time. Yes, you're results are "fractionally" lower, but IMO you could have saved $$$ and bought different cards if you were willing to settle for those numbers. Title: Re: Just set up my little bitcoin mining kit - advice welcomed! Post by: Xian01 on May 24, 2013, 06:01:55 AM Advice;
- Dump GUIMiner and learn to love CGMiner directly - Install either Sapphire Trix or MSI Afterburner - Overclock your cards' GPUs to at least 1130MHz. Downclock memory to 600MHz to save energy and generate less heat Should yield you a stable ~685MHs hashing on a 7970. Title: Re: Just set up my little bitcoin mining kit - advice welcomed! I'm getting these same numbers stable on my 7970 rig. Title: Re: Just set up my little bitcoin mining kit - advice welcomed!
