Title: Deleted posts
Post by: Taro_Naza on July 29, 2017, 10:42:05 AM
Hello;
I am writing this and I hope some mod will be able to reply and explain to me what is going on.
I have a relatively new account here but I have been using this form for years. so when I see something interesting I comment or participate in the general conversation and lately there is like thread who asked me to do them an Arabic translation of their threads after I offered them to do so. and I shared them in the section titled "Other languages/locations" which is "moderated" by Cyrus and every time I share them they get deleted saying it is out of topic in this whole forum there is no section but the alt coin announcement which you can share only posts in English. and there is no other section where you can share Arabic posts.
So I messaged the mod Cyrus and the general mod here and I got no answers from them which I should have as a member of this community I deserve to know what I did wrong and they should let me know if there is a section where I should share my posts so they won't be "off-topic". and I believe it is not about them not having time to answer I have messaged them like a month ago and I got no answer.
I would love to here from any mods here or anyone having the same problem as me. and I hope someone who is in charge would care enough to help me fix this problem.

Posting translated altcoin announcement in "Other languages/locations" is not allowed.

Section: Local

All Local boards - Discussion of various topics in the appropriate language. Posting translated coin announcements is limited to languages that have their own section (a.k.a. dedicated board with sub-boards).

So you are telling me that Arabic translations aren't accepted??
And that the language used by over 900 million people is unaccepted here.

I thought crypto and the blockchain technology was supposed to be about opening up and being global. but this forum for whatever fucking reason it says that any Arabic speaking person can't have access to announcement of new coins and ICO's ????

This is a joke !

You can request a dedicated child board for any languages/locations. However, it needs enough demand and activity before an admin would consider creating it.

I think it is not so much of how many millions of people are speaking a particular language that it will be automatically accepted here. If the millions that you are saying are all part of this forum then it will for sure be accommodated. But it seems it is not the case yet. I hope in the near future, this forum will also be composed of a large number of Arab-speaking people.

There is many people are are arabic speakers using this website and you can see them sharing posts in the section "other languages" and of course there won't be much activity because I personally shared like five posts over there in arabic and they were deleted so why would they come here if there is nothing here in their own language to read and participate in?

I would like to request that but where I should request it or from who? because the mods I contacted they didn't give a shit enough to reply on my messages.

Perhaps, in the abolition of an arabic language because of the lack of activity of the arab man himself .. or maybe a little member ..

you can try to create a new topic in meta thread about this, make a poll or gather arabic-speaker people to request your guys local board that have child board. I know what you guys feels, therefore show it to them that you all active in here.

"dbshck" told you very clear, you can request a dedicated child board for your language, but for doing this you should have a good support from arabic  community.
