hi, everybody

How do you think the current state of the Crypto-currency is correlated with the insufficient number of miners? Or the reason for the crochet in another ...

On the contrary, there are too many miners.

On the contrary, there are too many miners.

Why so? I think we have enough miners to sustain the transactions on the block chain, and enough miners that profits from mining are decent.

I don't think Bitcoin mining is really profitable unless you have a dedicated farm of ASICs and cheap power/cooling. What we really need is more decentralized miners and less mining power in the hands of specific people.

Yea definitely less profitable for those casual miners. I think there's pretty much nothing we can do to fix that problem though, as there are lots of big time miners that has like hundreds and thousands of ASICs/antminers/etc.

When it comes to beginner lone miners, there are no major benefits in the long run, but over time it is heavily involved in the ability to achieve more mutual help from different organizations.

when ethereum will move to proof of stake algorithm we will have a lot of free miners without a work... So they will need to jump to other coins
