Distribution

100,000,000 BetKing Bankroll Tokens will be created as Ethereum ERC23 tokens and issued after the crowdsale ends.

70 million will be available for sale to crowdsale participants.

30 million will be retained by BetKing for ICO bounties, testing bounties, advisors, hiring, future marketing and development.

BetKing Bankroll Tokens can be purchased with Bitcoin, Ethereum and Litecoin. All funds will be held in cold storage.

Use of funds raised

After the crowdsale at least 50% of the funds raised will be used for the house bankroll that players bet against and winnings are paid from.The remaining funds will be used for marketing, promos, seo, design, development, server costs and legal.

Profit Distribution

A percentage of the profit made from bankrolled games will be used to buy back BetKing Bankroll tokens from holders.All profit made on bankrolled games will be audited and made available to token holders as was done in the past with the crowdfunded bankroll profits.

Bankrolled games are games where a player plays against the house such as dice, blackjack and other casino games as well as 3rd party partner casino games.Player vs. player games such as poker are not.

An extra 5% discount will be available for previous BetKing bankroll providers regardless of what week they buy.

Pre-sale

Token Price

The total funds raised will determine the price per BetKing Bankroll token.We will take the total value of all funds at the current exchange rate at the end of the crowdsale to determine the total raised funds.E.g. If we raised $1,000,000 then the price per token would be $0.014 (1,000,000 / 70,000,000).

The buy back price offered by BetKing will be based on the current total bankroll profit.So for example if the price of the token at the end of the crowdsale was $0.014 and the bankroll profit was $1,000,000 then the buy back price would be $0.024 (1,000,000/100,000,000 + 0.014).

Every quarter BetKing will offer to buy back up to 10% of a holders tokens at the current buy back price.

Token holders may choose to sell offsite to 3rd parties or on any exchanges that may list BetKing Bankroll Tokens if they require more liquidity.

Terms

The crowdsale will start on the 7th of August (00:00 UTC) and end on the 4th of September (00:00 UTC).

There is no cap on the total funds that can be raised.

There is no minimum amount needed to be raised for the crowdsale to be successful.

BetKing Bankroll Tokens are intended to be used to invest in the bankroll on BetKing only.

BetKing Bankroll Tokens are not a share in a company and have no voting rights.

Bug Bounty program

We will reward 500,000 (0.5%) of the total BetKing Bankroll Tokens to bounty participants.

If you report a bug on the test website you can earn tokens.

Stakes:

• Small UI or non security related bugs - 10 Stakes
• Major bugs in major features - 35 Stakes

Bounty Program Closed

Due to a low number of traffic received from the bounty campaigns and the huge amount of time and cost of running it so far
I have decided to close the bounty program.

All legit participants who were in the program before now will be compensated with some BetKing Bankroll Token after the ICO ends
in September.

The initial plan of allocating 1% of all tokens will not happen as the program is ending 5 weeks early.

However I will still keep the bug bounty program open and split 0.5% of tokens to the reporters in there.

The two most costly campaigns, in terms of management time, were the Bitcointalk signature campaign and the Twitter posting campaigns.
They also brought the least amount of traffic of any other marketing being done.

Also the recent forced rule changes on the forums and closure of threads made the whole thing even less effective as the ANN thread
is never able to be on the front page. Even though every other ICO has allowed this.

I will be sticking to the paid advertising on larger media sites instead.

The bounty website will be taken offline and the bounty thread closed later today.

I will update the OP and main site with these details now.

I don't have anything against Betking but why would anyone throw over a million dollars at this site? The owner has tried to sell it several  times in the last year for less, and that's when it had better volume.

Past performance is a large reason why people are eager to invest. BetKing was no doubt successful and I don't think anyone can argue with that.

Why is there no clarity in the OP about why bounties were cancelled?

From the outside looking in it seems the project team have little time for those that jumped onboard in the early days to help with promotion.

For someone who wants to know why the bounty was cancelled, it is rude to suggest they read through all the pages. Show some respect and update the OP with an explanation.

All bounty participants had a bounty thread to post in for bounties. That thread is locked with first and last posts showing explanation and the spreadsheet that people check has a link on it.

Just visited the website, there is no "About Us" or "The Team" links. No information on anyone associated with "Betking" though "Dean" has been mentioned in various theads.

Are investors in the ICO getting in to a contract with "Dean" or with an "LLC" or "LTD"? There is no company information listed on the website. Look at recent ICOs they have full details of "who's who" so does anyone even know the full name of "Dean"?

You are right, there's no about or team pages.

There's no about page because the history of Betking is well documented and easily verifiable.
Also, most buyers are either previous investors or know previous investors and talk to each other about it or know BetKing or me.

There is no team page because all my team are contractors and some prefer to remain anon.
Listing some developer names or profile pics would not add any credibility to this project.

All the trust comes from me and the fact that I ran BetKing for 3.5 years without any issues and returned 6000 Bitcoin to investors when I closed instead of doing an exit scam or running with the funds. No resume or profile pic can give that kind of trust.

There is no LTD company yet. I am in chat with laywer right now actually about setting up a new company in Costa Rica and details will be released before the launch of the new site.

As far as reputations are concerned people who dealt with you in the past vouch for you but keeping that aside it probably would have been better to have all that set up before receiving investment because at the moment they have a contract with "Dean" as you are not represensting any company just yourself because the company does not exist. At some stage the company will be created but the coins would have been handed over before the company was created. TrueFlip registered their company in Costa Rica and it is all over their website (without going into the merits of having an LLC/LTD on/off shore).

I will be keeping a look out from time to time to see what happens with your project. Hope it works out well for you and the invetors :)

Can you give some reasons as to why an ICO is being run instead of the same system of crowd-funded bankroll?

As an investor I loved the freedom to add/remove funds at will and am more hesitant to invest knowing that my funds will be locked behind a coin that could go up/down in price in regards to BTC.
Why should I go with betking over one of your rivals such as crypto-games who run on the same crowd-funded bankroll you used to?

As not all funds are locked in to the bankroll, do you envisage a bigger profit per BTC invested compared to the old model? If so, have you run any numbers you can share?

Crowdfunded bankroll had no room to spend into the site features. This allows for the site to expand unlike before.

Make sure to be using username and not email. Check password manager to make sure it didn't save email.

Yep, it's the most common login error I suppose. Consider adding a placeholder hint "Username (not email!)" and/or additional more accented hint in the error message when user still enters e-mail instead of username and gets error.

What % do you expect poker to generate income? Pokerstars is a huge site, could you try to imitate their success? Will you have MTTs as well as other games than Holdem?

All important projects have team of developers, it is absolutely much better than contractors for the simple reason that contractors leave code that other contractors do not understand due to different coding practices between teams/individuals. How is this better than having a team?

Previous page doesn't has any information about when bounty will be paid. The information is on betking bounty thread and currently it's locked. If you were the one of betking partcipants and eligible for bounty, you will get it but they have lowered the bounty amount from 1% to 0.5%.

All legit participants in bounty campaign will receive some betking tokens for their work after the  ICO deadline in September. Where do you get the 0.5% figure?

Dean, what happened to the translation bounty? Originally it was set to reserve a bounty of 15% of 1% of all tokens for all translations, after I spent a few hours translating you changed this to get rid of Twitter/Facebook bounties, but translations were kinda forgotten in that announcement.
With a total of 13 translations, some with many pages, I'd say I'd be looking at about 4% of that 15% of that 1%, but I doubt my current betking account is even linked to the translation work I did.

I think no need to submit the email addresses to get rewarded through bounty campaigns all eligible participants already have their ETH addressees on spreadsheet that is why they will get paid soon. But all participants have to wait for further instructions.

1) I've see that there were multiple Betking thread. Which one should we considered the "main" one and should we use ?
2) Is the bug bounty pool still 0.5% of the total BKB created ? Are you planning to release a spreadsheet with earned stakes for transparency ?
3) When the bounties will be distributed, will we earn BKB or BTC when reporting critical bugs/vulnerabilities ?

Considering how BetKing.io is a casino and hence gambling, I think it is pretty evident that the thread in the Gambling subsection of the forum is the main one to use. (This is the ICO announcement thread).

Questions are answered on Discord and Telegram. Dean is far more active on those venues (and the BetKing.io chat) than he is on bitcointalk. Considering the fact that he could have exit scammed for more while he was running BetKing in the past, I don't think a delay in bounty payments should be any indication of a scam.

Regarding bounties I explained many many times that bounties would be lowest priority due to the fact that the bounty program ended after two weeks of seeing no results. Not to the fault of the legit participants but just the almost all the funds raised came from my own network of past investors and poker players. All $ spent on marketing during ICO was in fact a waste but it's done now.

Bounties will be paid this week though for the people who took part in signature campaign, translations, bug bounties and qualified articles and non multi accounting Twitter users. These all need audited.

Top priority was the launch and adding things for players and actually distributing tokens for the people who bought them.

I think there was a plan to add this to the exchanges. But what if I decided to keep the token? Would that consider me a stakeholder and should be enjoying some "privileges" as those who invested in the token? Just want to clarify.

Token-holders are not stakeholders and will not have an effect upon BetKing's development. However, you are given the opportunity to liquidate the tokens at the token price each quarter. If you deposit a given amount of BKB tokens to your BetKing.io site then Dean will allow the buyback of 10% of the deposit.

Awesome update as lot of people were waiting for this to be available on some good exchanges. Hitbtc is very good and gladly we will see fresh investment and people as well. You have to deposit 10x what you want to sell to BetKing to your BetKing.io account before December 4th. Then, you'll have the option to sell 10% of your deposit. You can pick the currency you want to receive from the BKB sale.

My lucky guess, that is the current buy back price rate per BKB in dollar and it will increase/decrease based on the bankroll.

I have started paying out bounty rewards as some of you know.
This is a slow process and I have to do everything manually.

Although it has already been a long time please understand that it will probably take another week to pay everyone.

Here are instructions for each campaign for you to claim bounty

There are sill people who haven't claimed yet.

Thousand multi-account! twitter accounts are most of the time bots and multi. Many campaign manager should read this. @Arnachy if you didn't get anything you should have been consider as a bot/multi.

Campaign managers probably don't care / are lazy, If they would use registration system like Dean they could eliminate bots/multi accounts.

Would be nice to have an official word, but I speculate that Dean's goal is to acquire tokens personally to regain ownership of the dividend cash flow. So he will just keep the tokens and there's little risk of them entering the market again unless he needs financing under my theory.

I don't get the difference between selling back on the buyback and selling on an exchange since the prices are the same? Let's say there are 10 million tokens out there and $10 million in profits over a quarter - then each token would gain $1 in value (obviously, I'm making all these numbers up).

At the end of the quarter, 1 million tokens are taken out of circulation. 

So the next quarter, if there are another $10 million in profits, is that distributed between 9 million remaining tokens or the full 10 million?  I assume it's the 10 million - otherwise, all the profits in the casino would just go to a smaller and smaller group of token holders, which would make no sense and BetKing would never gain anything as a result.  But i think that's the question he's asking.

I just tested it: faucet works just fine.
Faucet was $0.08 (1000 sat), now lowered to 500 sat ($0.05). It's amongst the highest in the industry for entry-level accounts.

Shit, due to the BTC run, this is a bad investment for me. On the book, I would make a loss if I sold now. It's like 6 K USD while BTC now is at 10 K USD.

Exactly. You invested in BKB rather than BTC. As soon as you invested the bitcoins, you 'sold' them.

Up to you. You can sell now or hold to wait for profits from the casino.

You sold them to sort of a hedge fund, the bankroll consists of BTC, eth and ltc so as value of all of those increase, so does the value of the bankroll and therefore the value of BKB tokens.
Since BTC is 75% of the bankroll, he's pretty much still invested in BTC.

This is not correct, and part of the confusion.  Here is the ICO information:

It appears the ICO proceeds were counted in USD and that determined the starting value in USD of the BKB tokens ($0.09286).  The value increase in the BKB token has exclusively been from casino profits (https://betking.io/bet/stats) - but BKB has not increased in value from the USD increase in the original bankroll. If it had, BKB would be worth far more - the initial amount alone would be worth $0.13+ plus the profits from the casino.

You are wrong. The value increases with site profit. This was explained in the OP of this thread from before the ICO and in the site page https://betking.io/ico

Bankroll was valued at 6.5 million.
Bankroll is valued at 18.5 million.
Bankroll profit is 12 million.

The site explains the process - it's profit from *bankrolled games*. It even specifies types of games (Poker) that don't count.

There's nothing wrong or unethical about the way it's calculated - it was all made clear up front.  But interestingly, he basically bet the viability of the casino on the price of BTC.  If BTC crashed after the ICO, the token would have skyrocketed in value in BTC and he'd likely have been at risk of collapse if he paid out all the BKB holders over time.  As is, he likely made a huge profit off the value of BTC over the last several months. This all assumes he kept the bankroll received in crypto.  If he switched it to USD, he'd have eliminated the risk/profits from BTC change, but also have a much smaller bankroll backstoppping the casino right now.

What I remember is investing in a bankroll of a cryptocurrency casino.
It’s profit increased for 12 million $, and no where was it stated that the casino was going to sell crypto for FIAT and let people gamble in FIAT instead of crypto (which would assume you have nothing to do with crypto anymore), so please explain to me how the hell does your bankroll increase for 12 million $ (trifold) and you still get the same FIAT amount as when you invested when your assets are valued in FIAT and not in crypto.

The way it was done seems to have been specified and clarified up front, so on one hand, there was nothing illicit or inappropriate about it (I was not involved in the ICO, but I assume the info on the ICO screen describing the process was available).

On the other hand, the way it was done, there was literally no reason for anyone to invest in the IPO.  The money you put in was converted to FIAT and then held for you in FIAT where you can only redeem at it at 10% per quarter.   You get the benefit of casino profit, but you could get that by simply buying BKB after the fact. Since exchanges will always have it at a discount, buying BKB in the exchange would always be done at a better price than buying through the IPO, under any circumstance.  In fact, lots of people investing in the IPO actually *lowers* the return-on-investment because a larger portion of the value of BKB is the original $0.092 that can has a rate of return of 0%. 

If only 10% as many people would have invested, BKB would have started at $0.0096, but had the same absolute increase in value from casino profits, meaning 10x the percentage return. 

I think it either *should* have been set up the way you describe (invested in the full bankroll) or there was no real reason for anyone to invest in the ICO. If you wanted, say, $1000 ownership in the casino, you'd have been better off buying it in an exchange at a discounted price.

Buybacks happen every 3 months. If you log in to BetKing, you can opt to join the next one.

Wasn't talking about token updates, I was referring to Betking updates. As the buyback price is directly related to the performance of the site itself, it would be nice to hear reports on how things are going, what new features are being added, etc. Maybe Dean will change the buyback program? If so I would expect the update to be here. And up until recently US residents couldn't sell their tokens back because the site prevented deposits from US citizens. That would have been a nice announcement to make when that got fixed/changed.

There are plenty of reasons to keep this thread alive, if only Dean (et. al) would use it.
