Target market - People who needs to drive around during business trips or vacation with family members.

Using taxi, public transport or ride sharing service like Uber may be a good thing if you're planning to just go from point A to point B. But what if you have plenty of stuff with you that you need to bring along with you? You will have to rent a car, right?

Our mission in Gitto Project is to provide car rental service in major cities around the world for those who simply need a car so that they can bring along their stuff with them. They can be a family who is having a vacation, or someone who is on a business trip.

We will start by implementing the idea in Malaysia.

How it works?

1. Customer will download the app from Play Store (for android).

2. Sign Up
- using Facebook
- using national Identity Cards / passport &, driving license.

3. When someone wants to rent a car, they will look for available cars from the android / ios apps.

4. Customer personal & booking details (location to meet up, booking dates) will be sync and provided to Gitto to complete the booking process.

5. Gitto will arrange for the car delivery to designated location.

6. The customer will receive a reminder when the time is almost up to return the car. The customer can either extend or confirm to return the car 6 hours prior to their return time.

Car will be tracked using GPS & dashcam for added security purpose.

Gitto Wallet function as storage of user detail such as name, id card, driving license & Gitto coins

It will also allow peer-to-peer lending

When someone wants to rent a car from Gitto, he can choose which car and the date that the car is available. We will put a minimum of 6 hour margin between 2 rental for precaution purpose in case of late return from previous car renter.

Android & ios app will be developed for user ease of use.

The website is being designed at the moment. To register a proper company for car rental service in Malaysia require a lot of procedures and is going to take time. We need to register with "Ministry of Tourism and Culture Malaysia". The guideline is in Malay language, you can read it up using google translate. We will update the income estimation for the peer to peer car rental apps usage soon. For the first year after the apps is launched, we will collect 10% fees from car owners that uses our apps to rent out their cars.

I have been consulting several people in the car rental business and they are looking forward to use the peer-to-peer apps that we are going to make.

I have a team and advisor who runs car rental business who will be handling this project with me.

And yes, we will be be checking with the local authorities whether we are allowed to operate in their country. If everything is ok, then we will set up a proper HQ and launch our service there.

I do not know how in Malaysia, but in Moscow and large cities of Russia has already been implemented. Carsharing is called. It is supported at the state level.

Thanks for the feedback dzkrb. We do not such service yet in Malaysia. The difference with this project is, we are going to utilize Gitto coins (GTC) as a way to make payment by setting a certain amount of coins equivalent to MYR 1.

At the current rate of 0.00005 Ethereum, the coin is equal to MYR 0.04. During its initial launch, we will set 20 GTC to MYR 1. And when we start with the peer to peer car rental service, we expect the value of GTC to increase to at least MYR1 each.

robocop3 - The first phase of the project we will focus on Malaysia market. By the time we update our apps, the peer to peer car rental service will be implemented internationally. We will be trading on exchanger websites after the ICO is over to allow Gitto coin to be traded publicly.

The Gitto  project seems a bit crazy but I like creative ideas. Still a bit abstract but I am really looking forward to how it develops.

Kellen - Yes it is crazy but it can be done. It has been done by others but they probably lack the capital to do marketing. I myself rent car from time to time and is tired of calling several different car rental companies only to know they do not have any car available for the day. So I know this is a very important service that need to available out there.

It's a very good idea that if be implemented like as planned will be very helpful to those people on-the-go, and also for those who did not but interested on cryptocurrency projects.

Coin_trader - Yes. We have the vision to be something as big as Uber and Grab but catering to a different segment of the market. We will do our best to make this project a success.

Anngrant - Well, we're not going to compete with them. Our goal with this project is to work together with car rental companies, so you probably can let them know about us and list their car on our website once the project take off.

robocop3 - The coin will offer an exchange for people who need to use the coin to rent cars. We're going to own some of the cars and will make money off that too. And the token is going to be the only way for customers to pay for their car rental. We will take the whole payment from the client and issue the payout to car owner after the car is returned.

So can you tell how your project will work? It doesn't make sense to make real usage project with the crypto even the bitcoin is not 100% used in our real life.

chickenmie - It does make sense. Gitto coin will only be used for the car rental business for the time being. After all, that is the reason why we have cryptocurrency. They're meant to be used in the real world like real money.

We just wanted to provide a small update about what's going on at the moment.

Our new website design on http://www.gittoproject.com is complete and is now live.

The white paper for Gitto project will be ready soon. Once it's ready, we'll be meeting up with a prospective legal advisor for further discussion. This is to make sure we start on the right track and comply with the local law in Malaysia for our launch in January 2018.

And we're currently discussing with 2 founders of a different project for advisor position :)

We're going to push for a bounty campaign and ICO before or on 1st September 2017.

We'll also focus on one city for the MVP launch & get rental contracts for a minimum of 70 cars in place with existing providers who need customers. Further updates will be provided once we've complete the white paper.

It is true that car renting procedure is full of headache sometimes especially when you are using them in other countries. I see potential for this project because it gives hopes and seems people behind the project are capable to solve existing issues by transferring these on blockchain. I will keep watching how the development move ahead.
