Title: So what time are the fireworks suppose to start?
Post by: Clayce on July 31, 2017, 05:20:08 AM
Does anyone know what time exactly that the fork will occur? and is this BCC 'air drop' suppose to hit exchanges at the exact same time?

It would be nice to know a time, so you can grab some tea and watch the charts seizure.  :P

I don't know exactly whether hard fork would occur and if it occurs, its said that on August 1,at 12.44pm,BCC would be available. Most of exchanges have already announced that they would not support BCC.I don't what those BCC supporters would do with their unwelcomed BCC.I think it would disappear soon.

i believe BCC's hard fork is scheduled as the same time as UASF in which case it will be in 17 hours and 45 minutes https://www.xbt.eu/

since it is time based it will be activated on epoch time 1501590000 which is the same as Tue 1 Aug 2017 12:20:00 UTC.

- get the popcorn ready.

Fireworks and fork? Are you going to celebrate the fork? ;D
I`m wondering what will be the Bitcoin Cash price after all those exchange platforms that refused to support BCH? A few cents or  even nothing.
Perhaps the BCH devs and supporters will stop the circus and Bitcoin Cash won`t launch at all.

Fo me it's going to happen while I am asleep so it will be interesting to wake up to and see the price of both coins.

Cool thanks for the link!

After all this hype, it would be funny if nothing much even happens.

Whatever credibility the Jihan cartel has would be lost, even among their own supporters if they fail to fork. Only the diehard fanatics would continue to support them after such a fail.

I do see Segregated Witness soft fork still has enough support from miners then we are all need to worry about chain split and then bitcoin cash ? I guess there will be no chain split and then no BCC too. Bitcoin cash will be a non even like what we can in the past like bitcoin XT / bitcoin unlimited.

Coin dance is having clock for segwit activation : https://coin.dance

I know what you people are going to do with BCC airdrop. You people will avail that and then will dump it for fiat or bitcoins and then obviously will rush back to bitcoins whereas I will be simply going to hold my bitcoins as you people will finally come to where I am already residing lol. I am too strongly believing bitcoin cash will be a non event. Better be cool... ;)

And who will hold BCC anyway? I know i will get some on Bittrex which is very nice gesture from them, and makes me very happy to see there are actually something good when you are holding on exchanges..You can sell almost at the same moment when you got them and maybe if you are fast you can get 1-1, because someone on Trex loves to put those kind of orders.. Funny people! ;D

Bitcoin Cash Hardfork
0 DAYS 17 HOURS 54 MINUTES 42 SECONDS
Time until Tuesday, 1 August 2017, 12:20:00 (UTC time)

I will stay waked up at that time to sell off my free bcc before others make a huge dump.
