On the website you can buy altcoins with BTC or Eth. Would it be possible for customers to buy them instantly? I guess no, because it takes time for Btc or Eth transactions to go through blockchain and get confirmed. We can't release our altcoins if we don't get a payment confirmation. Yes, I know about exchanges. I mean is it possible to do that on our own website and it would work like exchange. Which trading site are you buying and selling your altcoins by the way? But for altcoins to btc I don't think this week is the right time to do exchanges due to the split.

Before buying altcoin you need to transfer your Bitcoins to the exchange and buy your desired coin instantly.

For faster transaction confirmations? when you buy/sell inside an exchange, it's like doing it outside the blockchain, in a state channel. Every blockchain has its own processing time. There is some chain which is really fast though, such as Ripple and Iota, whose processing time is in the range of few seconds. Title: Re: Is it possible to sell altcoins instantly? You are right, of course he can buy the btc or eth instantly, but for withdraw the btc or eth to his wallet, there will be some time for confirmation by the platform and the network.
