Today is the last day panic. I buckled the seatbelt and put a cigarette out. Are you ready for takeoff? Tomorrow I expect that bitcoin will start. The goal of 3000-3500 dollars. Next week we will see the first results.

I don't even understand why people are panicking right now because BitcoinCash has zero chance against BTC. The price will definitely start increasing after tomorrow but It's just a matter of time until people panic again with the block size increase on November, just another chance to get cheaper coins.

At least when the forking process finishes at least bitcoin really goes to the moon :)

I think 3000 is more than doable! And hopefully it happens sooner than later! I'm really excited to see what BTC does in the coming weeks!!

Its crazy how much tension was built up around August 1 and now nothing is coming from it (so far).

Everyone is waiting and watching for the result of the upcoming event, even me i keep an eye in every possible crash or take off. But i agree with you that this the beginning of a new ath.

Panic? What panic? Most of this threads if one sees are being created by newbies and Jr members, who can't even read the situation anymore and decide to tell the world that there panic, this are the same people as those who support bcc. Get it op there is no panic whatsoever, bcc will come and go, as for the price even though I assumed it would rise, I feel it's calculated it's rise already so it will be interesting to see if the prices rise.

For now the value is stable, no panic selling at the moment, bitcoin only rise and will achieve new ATH in the coming weeks. With the news being spread that bitcoin will likely down for transaction. Noobs will certainly sell.

It won't be a bad idea to actually invest in BitcoinCash. But lets see how it goes, bitcoin has actually picked up a little, so maybe the rise has begun. We'll see by tomorrow evening, in which direction the panic is gonna flow.

There is no need to panic because there is a lot of excitement tomorrow. I can't wait for the beginning of Bitcoin cash. I know that there is a lot of people who secured there bitcoin so please calm and just watch for the price of bcc tomorrow. I hope it became succssful.

Why do we need to panic? Theres nothing to worry about depending if you do bought bitcoin on current price point. You would surely feel the worry and excitement on the same time. Tomorrow would be the event and all eyes are on that particular thing. We wont know if price would shoot up or would went down after that. This is why we should really be prepared specially on short traders.

Panic is the last thing on my mind right now as everything seems to be working perfectly fine, be there a split or whatever. The price would continue to fluctuate in the short term but would eventually settle at a range that’s somewhathigher where we are at now. Some might sell, but most others would continue holding and treat August 1 as just another day in the bitcoin world.

Fasten your seatbelt, we'll takeoff soon to the moon. I think It can reach $4k this year. But before that , maybe we'll see a little discount (drop). That would be the chance to buy more bitcoin. Right now, jusy keep calm, and trust bitcoin.

I don't panic, I do the usual thing just hold bitcoin and altcoins. I am not too hopeful BCC, but if it's worth I will dump it.

We do not have to follow the panic selling . We have been ready for whatever it happens , whatever happens tomorrow may in conformity with expectation everyone. Basically after of acclimatizing more would be success and price bitcoin will stable raising.

today is a sad day because it is most probably the end of cheap bitcoin prices and if you have not bought bitcoin in the past couple of days you won't be afford to buy the same amount anymore.

soon we will have to say bye bye to $2xxx the same way we said it to $1xxx

most peoples just try to move in 'secure zone' by selling their bitcoin and avoid loss money on 1 august. in other hand i prefer my self to wait after segregated witness 'pass'  i'm also think that bitcoin will increasing prices high more then nowadays.

Most likely bitcoin will fall by the amount of the stable BCC price after the split.

People who are trying to get their free bitcoin dividend will dump their coins, probably causing big price slippage on the exchanges.

After that who knows, could go up or down.

But there is really a panic going on and that only includes the people who is not knowledgeable with the situation of bitcoin but can we blame them from being like that? yes they have fully access with things in the forum and I think they can surely search what is the latest news regarding people, and we can surely see the people are too lazy to use their head to the ones that are fully updated with the leads on what is bitcoin are heading, and In my opinion the said event is not a thing to get panic about, but to see it as an opportunity for all of the users of bitcoin.

Yes it is, but even though some are panicking and others don't we can't control what is really happening tomorrow but whatever the decision or the outcome we must accept and start anew. I am hoping that what you say "The goal of 3000-3500 dollars" would really comes true, and if that happens many of us will glad to have that price of a bitcoin. I am looking forward of what you believe next week of this goal thing you mention about bitcoin and lets have faith always that it might be and the price increase and increase in the near future.

That's interesting. The panic seems to be taking hold and people are selling... but prices are actually climbing and demand isn't slipping. The highest online LBC sell offer I can see now is 2850. And seems to be slowly upping every 15 minutes or so.

Bitcoin's value will still increase even if it will fluctuate after the hard fork. Personally I think that this hard fork was planned by people who owned huge amounts of bitcoins so that they can buy low and sell high again. And yeah it seems that some of those new in bitcoin might be caught with this bait.

Who cares about the fork coin of bitcoin such as bitcoin cash? Those newbies are panic due to the soft fork tomorrow. Like you said that we will see segwit on bitcoin as fast as possible. I can't be patient to see the price of bitcoin will be going to the moon.  ;D

I think people are now ready with their fiat funds to buy bitcoins but all they are waiting for the all is clear signal from the centre. The price is already started floating around $2,800 and no doubt that it will cross $3K within a month and so on. Yes, newbies and even experienced Bitcoin users were afraid of 1 Aug that as soon as they realised that nothing is going to affect their Bitcoin holdings, the price is rising again. I am not sure how many of you noticed but even the another exchange incident (negativ-e) happend this week but still, it couldn't affect the price. Things and faith are getting stronger day by day and that's what going to strengthen Bitcoin for the future.

I thought few bitcoin believers only know the fact that, there is no reason to get panic. You also noticed that many of the bitcoin community are so much worried about tomorrow August 1st, Well anyway, I do believed after this ridiculous rumors about bitcoin split bitcoin will ready to take again to the moon price :D

I am agree with you that if the forking process goes to finish its price goes to increasing, and bitcoin price means I think its price goes to hit 3k$ or 3500$ very easily and everyone invest their money without any panic.

I want to see a bitcoin floor of 10kUSD but I think that I will have to wait some months before this happens

True. Been watching the market since 2 hours ago and it is different than the way people are behaving here.
Full of junks about the panic and yet the price seems to climb more.
Is it because of the fork that more people are looking at it right now. It seems like it made a free advertisement thanks to this issue. Very same with what happened with Bitcoin Unlimited and ETF.  ;D

August 1st is here! So general the market is being heavily manipulated right now and it will be extremely turbulent as soon as the fork happens. It is very possible that we see BTC being dumped shortly before the fork, hope a nice movement!

It is obvious that the day traders and who are depended on Bitcoin earning now, are in fear that if the price goes down then what will they do after that. But everything will be right after seeing lot of positive comments and the price is going up.

i agree because august 1st the decision will be final for split and i think the bitcoin go uprise and pumping above the highest level of value so i will wait the update about the issue the worries is over.

The market is surprisingly calm, it is a welcome change and barring any major hiccups the price will soar!

I hope its really the last day of panic today because I am tired of this drama, but for the meantime I'll just keep buying bitcoin if people will start dumping it again.

I think bitcoin now will go to the moon and it will never goes down. It will constantly stable and it will have a constant value from now on. And it will increase its price up to $3000 i think.

Yeah, panic is unnecessary, it just makes us lose our calm and make many wrong decisions. After tomorrow, people will understand bcc is a joke, segwit will succeed and the price of bitcoin will reach at a higher value than ever. In addition, prices of altcoin will increase strongly again, many people will regret because not accumulate many altcoin at cheap prices. Currently, the only thing we need to do is turn off the computer, go to bed and wait

Many people are panicing because of nobody knows what to expect. There are different opinions and different warnings. i am a micro-earner and i don't use all this cold storage and private keys, just hold my coins in an online-wallet, but people are saying that there no guarantee that tomorrow i will see my 0.1 BTC ever again. Do you need some more reasons for panic?

I think this is wrong. many holders preffer to get their free BCC and dump them to have free money after that bitcoin will be stable again. still BCC is just an altcoin or a copy of bitcoin.

Panicking is only for those weak hand people who want to secure their profit but if you are a risk taker kind of person and you also want a long term investment and holdings to secure your future then you will not mind the current possible issues to be faced by the bitcoin users because it will not affect our life after at least 5 years.

  Why would the price start increasing? As far as I know, everyone will simply dump their Bitcoin Cash and that will be it. I am assuming the price might go up a bit due to this drama finally being over though, so you might be right.
  And people are not going to panic about the next block size increase. Why would we? It is good to increase the block size to allow more transactions per second on the network. If we continue at the current rate, Bitcoin is dead.

Any one expected Bitcoins can go 3000$ to 3500$ After segwit bitcoin fork well let see if this may happened. Bitcoins fork is god but I think the price you speculated seems not happened in next week there more need time to get a jumped price.

Exactly, I'm eager to see how long bitcoin cash will keep it's valued price of 300$. A minute, perhaps an hour. We will see. Hopefully by November I can gather some more coins before we finally take off.

Is the split really going to take place? I still don't believe that this split will happen. I have read alot about it but still find it hard to believe. I guess I will just believe it when I see it happening. But be on the safe side guys; don't make any transactions between now and the 3rd August, just until everything is back to normal. Rather be safe than sorry.

Yes, the fear will end tomorrow. Bitcoin will go into a new path. Although we are in the last minute, however, we still can not clearly see the future of bitcoin. Everything is still very faint.

The split due to Segwit, which people were talking about, is not going to happen. However, Bitcoin Cash will be created tomorrow. It is also a fork of Bitcoin. So avoiding sending out your bitcoins until August 2 makes sense.

Yes, BCC is just like another altcoin we need not bother about it much at this situation. Even though Segwit is happening but the price of Bitcoin is kept increasing. Once after August 1st, the price of Bitcoin will cross more than 3000$.

Best thing to do is wait. If anything, backup your private keys and put some coin aside for bitcoincash. If it doesn't pan out, sell it. I don't a whole bitcoin but I pulled my $30 worth from coinbase yesterday.

Yep! Besides waiting we don’t have any other option. Waiting for Segwit results though is really frustrating but I have firm belief that bitcoins are going to rise massively in value tomorrow. All other coins will try to follow bitcoins and may be some altcoins also show increase in their values.

Bitcoin's price has already started to pump again, it's not far from June's 11th all-time high, it got pretty close a few hours ago, reaching $2900. It seems that it's now possible to reach $3000 soon.
I'm particularly not panicking, only have 0.02 BTC  :P

Lets wait and see what the price would take us,i am hoping for a rally after the fork and that is what i am waiting for,even if there is drop in price there is nothing to worry as i am sure the price will catch up later,just a few hours more to get things locked.

I would guess that there will probably be at least a temporary pump on the price when it happens, most people are likely to dump their BCC for BTC, increased demand in BTC is probably going to cause its price to increase.

We don't need to panic, because there's no reasons to worries regarding the price of bitcoin. Actually price of bitcoin now were rapidly increasing and I think that is good news to us right? I was hoping that increasing bitcoin value are continues.

Im expectig that bitcoin for now will reamin stable and after the segwit will happens maybe there are times that bitcoin may fall  but not totally fall when this already happened maybe 1 week it will recover and the price will start to reach its speculation goals i already save some and converted incase bitcoin price go down ill buy another one to start with.

Not sure people grasp how all this will happen. People assume there is going to be a quick dump on BCC to BTC. How long will it take everyone to get their BCC? this will take time. How long will it then take you to get it onto an exchange to trade? again will take time. Quite easy to miss the boat.

The way BTC has moved and how quickly it can drop I wouldn't be so confident the price it has reached today is a sign of strength and is great. I have been watching the market closely and the way trades are setup is so manipulative. They raise and drop the price as quick as they want with their fairy dust trades of 0.001 BTC. Watched it drop from $2860 down to $2770 just before. It will move as quick as it wants and I suspect it will drop before recovering

I think we don't need to panic  let's be positive that  the after Aug 1 will be ok. Besides the bitcoin is still increasing so i think the outcome is will be  successful.

BTC may want to drop to make BCC worth even less. If BCC is worth a Fraction of BTC then if BTC drops it will make BCC drop to ensure everyone that holds it and dumps doesn't get much. Then it will rise...
