Title: Tomorrow it comes.....
Post by: Lauren Smith on July 31, 2017, 01:07:44 PM
Tomorrow is the 1st of August. Who has given into fear and cowardice and who has stood strong and loyal to Bitcoin ? This is it boys it's about to happen it's only a few hours away.

Who is withdrawing their coins from yobit ? Perhaps another exchange you use ?

Also those of you who are well versed in the Bitcoin world your comments would be appreciated. The question is what are you doing for tomorrow and why ? Should we even bother ?

Personally I say this is just like normal human panic where people lose their minds. Like if there is an emergency somewhere people suddenly go crazy and scream for who knows what reason and push and rush and panic to exit the building or wherever they are instead of just carrying on as they were. I think it will be like they. If you disagree say why please.

Thank you.

Update: 1st August was just like the Y2K scare. I knew nothing would happen.

I use and search about this Coindesk repeatedly in recent days. I hope moderators will create a hot topic if there is any changes in the price or new coin creations or other things. Just be ready and take it easy to tackle this situation. Investors will worry about upcoming. I wish that shouldn't happen will see.

Im pretty sure almost all will be witdrawing their coins to cold wallets, or mooving them into the exchanges that will make the fork, besides those it would be very normal if a lot capital return to bitcoin since it can go to the moon very fast, while altcoins are going down, even looking  a good moment to buy altcoins the risk for them loose more value should make anybody think twice.

I'm still wondering how much is each BCC going to be if its price will be considerable, I think I'd move my btc to bittrex but if not, I'd live it to my wallet.  So how much do you think BCC will be, any idea?

Don't you think there will be a huge hack of exchange tomorrow, it would be a disaster because hackers are going to target them specially if most btc are going to be sent to them.

my only wondering is if it's good to take out the cold storage, to claim the scamcoin called bitcoin cash or not, because it's free money you know, but ti's risky to move bitcoin after the fork or move many bitcoin to exchange

I'm nervous about the tomorrow situation, as I love bitcoin a lot and don't really want to loose my money. I have taken all the precautions for tomorrow's event as to moving of the funds to secure wallets. Thanks to our beloved forum and fellow guys who kept updating the hard fork solution. I'm actually grateful to them because without this I could have lost bitcoins.

As if now I'm okay with the hard fork and just waiting for the clock to tick that movement when decision will be taken by big guys behind the scenes.

Everything is depended on the Segwit2x success because if it got failed then their will be hardfork till it get success , how many dont know. So their can be panic and mostly their will be in price drop. This is what every one are fearing about.

I'm surprised that bcc price is still high and steady this close to the no-trade-zone, especially after pretty much every exchange and online wallet sending emails and notices that say: "Stay calm and it's the end of the world!"

I think come Thursday we will see pretty high BTC prices and BCC will be very tanked.

Move your coin from one cold storage (paper wallet or whatever) to another. Then use your old cold storage wallet to convert to BCC. That way your BTC is still safe in your possession.

Its not bitcoin that will be dumped, its bcc as they said.  But I'm not stopping you if you wanna dump your BTC. What is going to happen soon though is the rise of the altcoins just after august 1. I hope SEC won't stop us.

The D-day is here and hopefully, everything will be on the positive side and BTC will cross 3k in the coming week. Everyone was waiting for this day from more than a year I think and BCC will be an altcoin so no worries.

What is so special about the August 1st? It is only a fork and after a few years it will be nothing to us and those developments for bitcoin is natural and it is always part of the technology, all i can say is, the next ath is on the way and we should be ready for that new ath because it will become a very huge pump for sure.

I hope it will be fine and everything is back to normal, and I think bitcoin will grow quickly and of great value, and I will keep waiting for it until then and see what happens on that day hopefully it will get better, and Maybe bitcoin will become even more popular once the day passes and more and more will use it both in terms of investment and trade, and we can transact as usual I hope it stay awake

I am not worried, I prepared myself to the extent of moving my Bitcoins from my local wallet to Electrum which will provide me some Bitcoin Cash after the Fork happens, but that is not my main concern I want to prepare myself on what kind of future will Bitcoin have will it be a good one or a bad one it all depends on how the traders especially the big players look at the event that will happen tomorrow.

Tomorrow is going to be one heck of a busy day for Bitcoin, that is for sure. I do not see Bitcoin Cash being worth more than Bitcoin. Based on this it is not in my plans to bother with it. I am just chilling like usual, with a bag of popcorn in hand watching this all go down. ;D

1 BTC just to see what will hapen it's too much I think, but it's your choice. I still didn't get any decidion about my little savings, it is still on my online wallet, do not know what to do, there is an opinion that it's too risky to stay coins like that during the fork. Opinions gentelmen  ::)

Things have already subsided down after many weeks of FUD all over the crypto-world. We have already known what can happen when August 1 will come. There is a split and a new altcoin will officially come upon us named BitcoinCash. I would have a free money in Bittrex since I did not withdraw all of my Bitcoin to anywhere else.

I am happy that finally the scaling problem of Bitcoin can be partially solved so that we can all slowly move on and let Bitcoin fly to the moon. BitcoinCash can not be affecting the value of Bitcoin, that is for sure.

For now theres nothing we can do but wait for the results on this August 1 event. Bother and panics would normally happen and its normal for a human being to worry specially when they know that they are involve on it.I cant still sleep yet and do tend to wait for this event to come. :)

Tomorrrow is a terrible for the bitcoin user like me. How long will it take? After August 1, I can breath spacious. It  was very annoying that bitcoin will spilt, you don't know what you gonna do in your bitcoin. Some of us here were panic selling of their bitcoin. I am not involve because all my bitcoin was exchange into fiat money. Just a 0.002btc has been left into my wallet.

In my view, I am not withdrawing anything from any exchange. I have read a lot about this split but still find it hard to believe that it will take place. My views and assumptions are not final. Lets just wait and see how it goes. Probably it might happen, probably it might not. Let's not panic, surely everything will go as expected.

I think what you're expecting to have a big impact in Bitcoin will not be as you think it would. Because I've heard that it will be just a Fork and not a Hard Fork. So I think it could be just some minor changes, maybe in transactions or even in the price (hope so). But just to be sure, let's have precautions about it.

Majority of the users were not interested on these separation, but things has gone out of hands and now we have reached near to the day, just a few hours left. If a new coin come into existence without disturbing the growth as well the value of bitcoin, then surely more users will come back to the crypto usage whereas if something worse happens the trust over cryptos will decline based on its uncertain nature.

In my view, I am not withdrawing anything from any exchange. I have read a lot about this split but still find it hard to believe that it will take place. My views and assumptions are not final. Lets just wait and see how it goes. Probably it might happen, probably it might not. Let's not panic, surely everything will go as expected.

The wait is now almost over. I would suggest same to everyone that  now they should not touch their bitcoins and no matter even if they are on exchanges. Nothing bad will happen but if you try to move funds now they can be lost in the middle. Just stay clam and wait for the softfork to be implemented.

Thank you.

Even though I have not been involved so long with bitcoin but with the little time I have spent, I have learnt to develop thick skin because of the rash decisions I have taken in the past which I still wish I can reverse this has made me to decide early that whatever the depressed way we are going in bitcoin because of this August 1, I am not taking any rash decision I have been able to hold forth and hopefully won't wished otherwise in the coming  days.

I was hoping to read here some new information, fresh news. However, all the same experiences and the same hopes. Well, wait until tomorrow. It's coming soon ...

From what I know tomorrow will be the activation of BIP91. Lets look on the positive side for tomorrow. FUD will always be FUD.
LOL, do you not following schedule SegWit of Bitcoin until November 15th? Tomorrow is the time activation SegWit (BIP141) and SoftFork Bitcoin, but ViaBTC say they will HardFork and fork new coin with name Bitcoin Cash from old blockchain Bitcoin and distribuite free for user hold Bitcoin in wallet.

I'm waiting tomorrow with great hope. Either i'll completely lose my all money or everything will be perfect. All of us tells own opinion about it. Maybe nothing will change. Maybe speculative i.e. it is difficult to tell something. That's good to wait what will happen. After morning i'm sure a lot of things will change.

Never use yobit thing. Bittrex is still okay to hold bitcoins there. As they said the process will be okay for Bittrex users.

I will just try to dump the splitted bitcoins on secondary markets like kraken and others. I won't hold them.

Its like over 5 hours of waiting if I'm not mistaken. I will try to be awake because I'm excited to finally see this date because it has cause a lot of uncertainty, fear and worries amongst us. My coins are secured nothing to worry. All the debates and discussions here and predictions can finally come into fruition. And after this, absolutely, things will change for the better. Everybody is very optimistic that this will bring bitcoin closer to mass adoption. And I hope that we are going to end up with good price after this.

I am just a little bit excited and at the same time nervous of what will gonna happen to bitcoin for tomorrows event. I can't wait what will be the final results of this new bitcoin(BCC) they were talking. Let's see if there will be a split going to happen and some changes of the price of bitcoin after this event.

I think in the same way as you are, the hype created about august 1 was scaring all the users but i am happy that instead of losing their minds most of the users understand the reality and believe on bitcoin and didn't cash-out, this is the reason why BTC is now above $2700.

I'm convinced that everything will go well and we will  not lose  our  money. Waiting  will soon be over and  everything will get back to normal. I trust it will be fine and everything has returned to ordinary, and I think Bitcoin will develop rapidly and of extraordinary esteem, and I will continue sitting tight for it until at that point and see what occurs on that day ideally it will show signs of improvement, and Maybe Bitcoin will turn out to be considerably more prevalent once the day passes and more will utilize it both as far as venture and exchange

I have my bitcoin in my wallet which supports both chains even BCC so I am not worried whatever happens but I think not much will happen tomorrow and we will all be here 2-3 days after the August 1 have passed talking about how soon BCC bites dust. I am calmly waiting to see any developments although I think there will be none and everything will run as smooth as always in the Bitcoin network.

tomorrow is the day we are not finished yet, what is our plan tomorrow? ready and already have plans tomorrow? well we have to be ready and have a plan for tomorrow, because we want or not tomorrow we will pass, with that we must be ready to plan carefully what we will do tomorrow, so that activities we do tomorrow can benefit us. Especially on bitcoin.

I can say the same, I`m glad that soon all this drama will come to an end. I can`t say it was boring, my conclusions are different. Most of the people is still confused, and for me it`s a bit weird that still no one knows what will happen tomorrow. Many discussions without the point, cause we just can guess what can happen. Many people were afraid, mostly new investors, old investors with a lot of money in bitcoins. I admit that if I have +100,000$ in bitcoins this situation wouldn`t be easy for me, to not know what will happen.
Just to survive next 24 hours and everything will be behind us. Good luck friends I hope that you are ready for what comes after!

hamm... Today i downloaded episode 3 of season 7 and did not know that next week there will not be an episode, now it's too hot to watch.

Back to the topic

Who is withdrawing their coins from yobit ?

Hmm, you already saw yobit's chat as is agitated by bcc? those chat guys from yobit do not sleep. No offense, they will be the first to dump their bcc.

what are you doing for tomorrow and why ?

By my calculations will be 13:40 pm in my country, that time i will be having lunch as usual, then i will go to my old computer to watch the market and how will Bitcoin Cash will survive this dump

Should we even bother ?

The fact is simple, people earn free bcc and because of this, Whatever the price of bcc, people do not lose anything.

I am waiting for a huge dump in order to buy Bitcoins. Patiently waiting..

Then price will go to the moon imo
i think it will never be goes down. it goes down last week i think, it will be grow and gets bigger. nothing will be happen and nothing gonna lose, only a new coin will be gonna raise and i think it will never gonna affect bitcoins. i hopes it.
I agree with you. Indeed nothing such thing is going to happen. The new coin is not going to affect bitcoins’ price in any way. Bitcoins have risen in the last weeks and would give bitcoiners ride tomorrow. Obviously there is no need to fear Segwit. It is just a hurdle and crossing it bitcoins are going to touch sky.

You should learn from your mistakes and in coming years, be wise with the bitcoins. Bitcoins are the king of the crypto kingdom. They are the only coins which have given most of the times ride to the moon to its investors. Try to grab bitcoins when the prices will dump again. Good luck, mate.

Everything is depended on the Segwit2x success because if it got failed then their will be hardfork till it get success , how many dont know. So their can be panic and mostly their will be in price drop. This is what every one are fearing about.

Less than an hour for BIP148 possible split point but we can consider this negligible as BIP91 has been locked-in and all blocks already signaling BIP141 which is another way to activate SegWit and most likely segwit2x will not activated.
And Bitcoin cash is expected to split some time after 12:20 UTC, as long as we have private keys then bcash is free money, no need to panic I guess.
If those two points works smoothly, then 13:00-23:59 UTC: split instructions and all-clear.
I think people still transact bitcoin as there are a lot of unconfirmed transactions waiting for included into blockchain, over 5K https://blockchain.info/unconfirmed-transactions

The current news line says 'BIP148 activated with no split or other issues. The Bcash split will happen later today (UTC).' As I was expecting, nothing negative is going happen and a panic selling wave was there for no reason. I think we will see many investors who cashed out their bitcoins before this day will now again buy Bitcoins immoderately after a green signal from the centre.

Right, like many times so far people were in panic for no reason. We have survived the August 1, some things are still going to happen but the Bitcoin price is rising up again and I expect that everything will be back to normal soon. Those who have sold their coins because they had fear of losing money are probably sorry now.

Yes that's true! August 1 is today and still bitcoin price is also skyrocket $2923.84 and it's nearly $3k for today just like nothing happen or never been affected of the split!

So today is already August 1? Anything special? None actually.  :P

There is nothing really. Before August 1, when people reacted as if its the end of the world, I was kind of smiling. Look at these people. They are making and spreading FUDs and believed them themselves, reacted to it, and panic sold with losses. And now, look at bitcoin, it will be hitting $3000 in hours or a few days.

There wasn't really a panic selling wave, though. On the contrary, the market has been steadily climbing for 2 weeks now. Now, we are only a few hours away from the Bitcoin Cash fork, so things could get a bit more turbulent. I've got my popcorn ready. :P

As far as loyalty to bitcoin is concerned it can't be questioned because still a large number of people are with bitcoin and if they are interested in bitcoin cash for any reason then it is for the money they will be making with it. But yes the coming few days are going to be bit boring as none of us will be allowed by the circumstances to actively do trading, bitcoin transactions etc but as that's something inevitable and we can't do anything about so it's better to wait and watch while hoping for the best to come.
