People got tired of wasting their hashing power on scamcoins?

Litecoin could have easily been seen as a scamcoin when it came out and probably was by a few people. It's obviously solidified itself in the cryptocurrency world as an accepted coin though, so it'll only ever increase in popularity most likely - look at what happened to bitcoin? Fair few people hashing that out i hear.

Yeah I felt the irony as I typed "scamcoin", since if they really cared about that they would stick to merged-mining SHA256 coins. :P

Gosh, I recall when I started mining ltc at dif. 2.  :D Then reaper was found to be used on LTC, it caught on a little, then cgminer came out, and dif. broke high.

Well I'm still mining away, free power ftw. Although uni halls have terrible ventilation; I pay in room temperature. 25.2C -.-
