Title: Would you sell your BCC or HODL?

Do you think Bitcoin cash will provide any value? Would you sell or HODL?

Just wondering...

-> Coinbase already predicted the value of BCC,it's worthless.Pretty sure remaining exchanges will follow the same.
->  Just for the heck of it,if everyone keeps holding, there might be a little pump which will give false hopes to the holders.Bitcoin will be turn out powerful than before,BCC doesn't stand a chance.I wouldn't bother having BCC.

Coinbase is pretty manipulative and scammy. They freeze people's accounts when weird things occur in the market everytime, always given the same shitty reasons about how they are having server issues and related bs. Why would you trust their predictions?

If you are believer of one side, then sell the other side.

If you are not sure, keep them both for a moment and the market will tell, and market sometime surprises everyone.

BCC is just another shitcoin. I have not even kept my btc in the wallet to get BCC. All in altcoins which have potential to do a 4x to 10x

In my opinion, for the price of BCC itself is not yet clear ,, if you currently have a better BCC you save it, because I think this is a gift from bitcoin. If later BCC has a good price, this is your advantage without capital

No. We are also need capital to earn BCC. It's by holding our btc in a wallet which support BCC. We can't earn BCC if we don't have BTC.

Not, I think sell all and buy again after panic selling better hold it, maybe if you miss time sell good price you can hold it. But the risk about holding this coin is many more and the value of it can drop to a few dollars is possible.

Remember Ethereum vs ETC. Clear right?

I would rather hold, it is a speculation tool now and seems make many people lose money but in the long term it can be valuable.

I think most of the bitcoin holders are only treating Bitcoin cash as a form of free money. Most probably, right after they receive their share they will dump them, causing more price dump for BCC. Holding it might cause you to finally sell them when the price is already at the lowest.

Yeah its a free coin from bitcoin so I think I just save it. Since I didnt buy that so no worries if I just do profit or not.
I really dont like bcc as it's a copy cut of bitcoin but Im sure it will be a shitcoin just like the others. It may live now and sooner it will die.

It would be a copycat so I am selling them once I get a hold of that BCC. I'm sure it will be worth lesser when it will be distributed so I'd rather sell them than hold them.

Dump all your BCC quickly mate. That is a good strategy. BCC is valued $300 to $400 each. I know that the price will dive low. That is certain. And then by the time the price is already at the bottom, buy and hold. That would be money again after BCC will recover from the initial dumping. Some people are trusting BCC so there is a chance that it will gain price again.

if you look around you'll see almost everyone is talking about selling BCC as fast as they receive it. this means if half of the people who claim they will sell, do actually sell the price will drop hard.

this simply means selling sooner is more profitable and you should act on it.
i will probably try buying some back after a couple of weeks if it still was alive and i feel like it has reached the bottom just to make some quick short term profit from the dead cat bounce that happens after each massive dump.

i don't expect anything from BCC in long term but we'll have to wait and see how much they can pump and dump it.

yeah, people think BCC is like a free money and selling it on any rates doesn't make them lost anything so they'll simply sell it.

My friends and I decided to dump all bcc that we receive. Just showing that we dont support bcc and of course its instant cash to all of us. The cash we're getting will definetely buy other good altcoins. Its better we hodl other coins than bcc.

So many people selling BCC straight away. If you sell for a few hundred $, that's equivalent to say 10% increase in bitcoin price.
My approach (and obviously I may be wrong!) is to go all-in on alts instead. I think a lot of money has moved from alts to bitcoin to take advantage of free bcc, and I think that money will go back to alts very quickly, and give much greater than 10% return in the short-term.

If it turns out I'm wrong, then let's forget I posted this, okay?  ;D

Ya man fuck coinbase they are scammy. I had my funds stuck there when I wanted to access them because of these very reasons you say. Server issues.. yeah right.

All of my BTC is where it should be now, in a core wallet.

Will I sell my BCC? I dunno, if the price pumps I will. I think I'm going to wait a week or two and see where we're at then make a decision to hold or dump.

- Most people will sell bcc as quickly as possible because really it does not create trust for users, many people say it's just shitcoin and it will soon collapse in the market. In addition, it is free for users, and because of free, many people will sell and not many people buy, they will be dumping and its price will fall rapidly after a short time, so I do not have any reason to hold it. I think it should not appear, its appearance is a stupid thing, the future of bcc very bad, I do not think users will enjoy it

I said I swapped all of my bitcoins for alts... not quite true, thanks for reminding me... I had 0.00000045 BTC on Bittrex, so now I have 0.00000045 BCC too  :)
But the BCC and BTC wallets are both currently under maintenance, so it looks like I missed the window for a massive payout on my 0.00000045 BCC  ;D

Under maintenance just means you can't deposit or withdraw, you can still trade on the BTC-BCC market. But I don't think you have the minimum amount of BCC to do a trade :P

Ditto. I only had .17 of a BTC held on there. But my 0.17 BCC was there in a wallet. So sold it when it was around $300. Free $50. Whoop!

Can't see it getting back to $300 again anytime soon (was amazed it went up to that sort of level initially TBH). Once the offline wallet coins can be deposited, I suspect it's gonna dump crazy hard.

Shame I had my BTC mostly stored offline really. Would have been quite a nice little freebie.

why would you want to hold it?

even if you would have any faith in bcc it would be wise to sell it asap before it is hardly dumped during today and tomorrow and then after market would settle you could buy much more bcc for the money you got today selling it asap (but only if you really have any faith for it)

Bittrex shows a 24h high of $547 on my tracker!!!

I was amazed to see that when I got up this morning. I thought I 'd done OK offloading my small amount (0.17 held on exchange at split time) on there at $300.

Still got some offline. Can you deposit to Bittrex with it yet? Can't see a price this high holding for any length of time. The support just doesn't seem to justify it?!?!?

Well obviously, I did not know wtf I was talking about :)

Now I'm conflicted...my main notion is to hold it in case everything goes pear shaped with the 2mb hard fork being
blocked by bitcoin core or other silly stuff.

thus a fork did happen I'd keep the worth of my 100 btc in say a 60/40 split on 2 forks...IF miners got disgusted with

the 2mb fork not happening in a couple months

like insurance ..ie just keep it

than again see my quoted post...I obviously don't know wtf I'm talking about :(

Base on the information I have been reading from BCC holders, many of them are out there on what I call "hit and run approach ". I Believe, the current pump is temporary and that so many of the holder are waiting for small increase in the value before dumping it. Although since I don't believe in BCC current pump so I don't have any BCC talk less of holding it.

That entire statement is invalid as most BCC/BCH "holders" are only holding because they can't put them on an exchange to sell them.

The entire price situation is artificial. And the blockchain itself is dying a slow death due to lack of miner support.

There is one miner supporting, that guy in the Hong Kong youth hostel: https://news.bitcoin.com/the-trading-center-in-hk-where-they-mined-most-of-the-bitcoin-cash-blocks/
Oh wait, he's stopped supporting now and gone back to bitcoin.  ::)

Yes, price is artificial and I'm still convinced bitcoincash has no future.
