I can confirm that Devianttwo has done a lot of good work with this pool and the performance issues have been stamped out.

This is the best time to jump on board if you want to benefit from PWC's success.

dont mean to sound like a dick, but did the performance get worked out because there is such a small hashrate?

No. the performance issues have been worked out because the Difficulty is much higher now.

Note: The performance issues where due to receiving more shares per second then the actual database could confirm. this was due to me setting the retarget bit to low.  Which has been fixed since

when diff is low, no one needs a pool anyway.  ;D

People must be mining this coin crazy.
All these pools have not gotten a block for the last 2 hours.

I believe the pool is running fine but block stats and payout broke a couple hours ago.

Devianttwo can you confirm and check this?

If you don't mind. Make your own topic instead of using mine.  Anyways. YES our servers messed up yesterday for a few hours. For some reason we got stuck on an Old block and my powercoind was not downloading the latest block chain. THEREFOR it glitched out and nobody was actually mining on our site for over 4 hours. (even though we had tons of shares)  After fixing that I manually executed our payout scripts and removed all the false data and restarted the servers.  You may notice that we have a HUGE HUGE negative current round share as well. This is caused by orphan blocks.  We are getting more orphans then we are true blocks, HOWEVER, We are mining between 50 to 100 blocks per Confirm period of time. I did put the rates back up to 2% but this is because not a single sole is donating to my network which costs money to run the server in the first place.  I may have made $10 so far in the past 3 days by runing the pool. and I got 2k PWC's from the coin developer for being the first pool. Other then that, nobody has donated.  Please keep us in mind guys

http://pwc.hackshardgaming.net going strong!

The Co-Owner of my server machine decided to have a little bit of fun and attempt to corrupt my server machine.  In the process he stole my website and tried to steal more but he didn't get it.  We are currently working on resolving the issue with my server machine being down.  This will take a few hours to resolve.

Servers are now back online and operational. Took about 30 minutes for me to get the pool up to date with payouts. but we got it done.  Good to go guys

Stats are not updating and pool is not paying out

Stats are not updating and pool is not paying out

Thanks for notifying. Checking for the problem now. probably just a lockup.

UPDATE: I will be shutting the PWC Pools off for a few moments while I manage the lockup.

I have now manually paid out all existing blocks and Removed all shares from the database as there are just way to many results for the database to handle.  This should clean up the lag.

Pool now back online.  I have 4 Immature blocks that are going to fail to automatically pay out so I will split them amoung all active members of my network as soon as they pay out.

No problem. and also while the systems where locked up, we didn't even find a single block.  As soon as I wiped the DB out. insta found one.

Stats are still not updating, also getting a LOT (~40%) of rejects

Post by: Shootoo on May 22, 2013, 03:27:11 AM
Also many rejects

In 30 minutes 650 accepted vs 1800 rejected... It's starting to get frustrating

Difficulty is too low, this many rejects is normal for all coins at this point
