So, nothing happened yet?

At which block is it supposed to fork?

Is there any other website or service monitoring the fork?

Nothing is happening. Just stop worrying, the more you worry the worse for your health. Your bitcoins are safe if you keep them on your local wallet. Bitcoin Cash is a non event. Nothing to see here. Take your multivitamin and go to school kids.

BUT if you are still worried, I made this for you:

Don't worry, nothing has happened so far. Just check that site every once in a while and see what it says. Just go to sleep if you have to and wait it off. Worrying too much will only make things worse, not exactly something we want in this situation.

Now Bitcoin Cash (BCC) has broken away from bitcoin, balances should now appear on exchanges and wallets that support the new cryptocurrency. But still need time, maybe a few hours or almost a day before users can actually trade the new cryptocurrency on the current exchanges. It may take hours of mining to exploit the first Bitcoin Cash blocks, as the new blockchain has lower mining capacity than the main bitcoin network. But rest assured and do not worry, everything is fine. You just keep your Bitcoin in the offline wallet and hold your private key

If they break up it could only do the miners. Who will use their new coins if the users is not profitable? My money is stored on electronic wallets and I don't see any changes. On one of the wallets works great metabolism and now.

Why worrying nothing will happen because of this split. Maybe we see changes in Bitcoin price that's it. But if people do not support BCC then surely the Bitcoin price will go high. Your bitcoins will be safe if you have your private keys.

Now I guess the fun begins...if slowly! Holders who plan to dump Bcash and those who moved their coins off exchanges to split them may now be moving their coins to exchanges. So it took around 6 hours to mine a block, eh? Only Bitmain could afford to spend this kind of hash power on this fork. :D

Bitcoin cash only succeeded in pushing people to take those huge transactional costs for withdrawing and now depositing back to exchanges, what a pain in the neck Bcash must be! Btw all coins are showing green today - must be a sign, the storm is over!

Well, BCC is not completely dead yet. They will try to revive him. Perhaps he will exist for some time as an altcoin to bitcoin. However, it is unlikely that he has a good future.

Nothing is to be worried about. As of now, theymos himself declared that it is a general "all clear". There were no split happened in the past hours and there are no signs if it will in the near future. Bitcoin processes and transactions are back to normal (almost, I think). Better check his (theymos) post here to have some further information regarding the matter: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2059111.0 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2059111.0)

It will not die because it has the backing of some miners and very rich people behind it. They are all in for the money because they are greedy. However, the price goes to a high of $400 and when all the dump happens, the price stood at $200. So I think it will stay for a long time and will have its time to for the price to increase, but it will not reach what bitcoin is today.

BTC part of my wallet (Jaxx) was down most of the day, showing an incorrect balance which had me a little concerned.  But it returned to normal a couple hours ago.  They're still debating whether they're going to support BCH on shapeshift, which they just tweeted today.  Even if they do, there will be a huge delay to even access it to be able to trade it.

Most of the exchanges and wallets are yet to credit BCH to their users. It is going to take some time, due to the complexities within the BCH. I expect the distribution to be completed by this week, and we may witness a short-term dip in the BCH exchange rates due to massive selloff. But BCH has got enough support in the form of people like Jihan Wu and Roger Ver, and they will ensure that it does not fall below the BTC0.10 mark.

Yes agree it wont die, this is make a history like bitcoin did, i think this coin will compete on bitcoin as top coin in the crypto currency.
But our wish was granted that there is no split happens, but on the news there are small possibility to happen and i think is there have no big effect on bitcoin value even splitting was happened.

Nice site regards bitcoin cash hard fork but btcforkmonitor disclose more information about bitcoin abc.
Most exchanges have suspended bitcoin deposits and withdrawals during the fork, and some are preparing to list BCC for trading in the next couple of days.
There are some exchanges support bcash and right now more exchanges seems has listed bitcoin cash as well, fortunately for everyone who get free bch.
But, for those who didn't store btc on exchanges still have to wait to deposit bch into exchanges as bch network still unstable I guess.
Meanwhile, Japan exchanges planning to trade bitcoin cash https://news.bitcoin.com/japanese-exchanges-bitcoin-cash-post-fork/?utm_source=OneSignal%20Push&utm_medium=notification&utm_campaign=Push%20Notifications

The backers of BCH are not aiming for the no.3 or no.4 position in the crypto-coin market cap. They are aiming for the top-most spot, and they want to dislodge Bitcoin from there. The backers of BCH have been very clear with this. Anyway, let's wait and watch. Personally, I don't care, as I have almost equal amounts of both BTC and BCH.

I think there are still many supporters of Bitcoin cash by its nature, not because of profit. It is the original currency of Satoshi Nakamoto, which is a permanent branch version of Bitcoin, which retains the principle of Bitcoin's activity but increases the transaction limit, and many prefer it.. Currently, BIP91 / BIP148 has been successful, however, there is still a small chance that the division will still be possible between now and around August 10. We still have to wait for SegWit locking on August 10, then know for sure what to do.

Nothing happened so far, just a hype was created to compel the bitcoins users to use bitcoincash. BCC split doesn't effect the price of BTC so far, i don't think so BCC will grow like BTC in future. Yes, I know, this has caused trouble and hardship for so many people but what comes to it must also come. Bitcoin is forced to split as it does today, otherwise it will be in real recession and at risk of collapse. The transaction, transfer Bitcoin during the separation process is difficult, everyone is like that including me but do not worry, now everything is stable, you can use Bitcoin as normal. If still afraid, wait 3-4 days more.

It has happened now, but like what most people said, it was nothing important and 12 hours after the event the price of Bitcoin has barely changed. It wasn’t anything to worry about and people just overhyped it with FUD and clickbait threads like “August the first will be the end of bitcoin”

Remember people Bitcoin cash is an alt coin just with the name of Bitcoin, nothing happened when altcoins get released so why would anything happen when Bitcoin cash gets released. Claim your free BCC and get along with your life.

There's nothing splitted from BTC, BCC is rumored to be created from BTC but it was wrong. In fact that, it remained before August 01 and some people who created and hold them in hand before tried to make a good reason for its origin so they rumored it created from BTC then they pushed the price raising then they sold BCC out and exchange into the real BTC (it is called selling fake and buying real). Do you see that all people holding BCC are trying to exchange BCC into BTC? It's bullshit to think that BCC is splitted from BTC. I have some BTC and there's nothing happened after August 01.

Give it time. One of the reasons exchanges aren't opening trading and require so many confirmations for BCC is the high difficulty vs. hash rate. That creates double spend risk.

The Bitcoin Cash chain just adjusted difficulty downwards by 20%, so block time issues should start improving now. Hopefully we'll see some more price volatility now.

For big money holders bch will be the center for them to earn money in a fast period of time, hours or even minutes, due to unstable markets, rapidly changing prices are very beneficial to certain parties

As far as I know there's no split that happened during the correction.
It is not came from to btc but it imitates what bitcoin have.
And at this moment exchanges still dont accept bch to be trade on them and the demand for it is still low.

I agree with you. I have some BTC to be kept in blockchain (the official wallet of BTC) but I did not see any split from BTC. BCC/BCH what they said to be splitted from BTC is fake. Blockchain is the official wallet for BTC why it did not support BCC/BCH? Why BCC/BCH is supported by bitcoincash.org? The website that do not have any relationship with blockchain and this website is created newly in just recent time. I'm sure the rumor for BCC/BCH that come from BTC is from the owner of website: bitcoincash.org. They did that as the reason for the origin of BCC/BCH and pushed the price raising and then they sold out and earned many real BTC into their pockets. People, please keep your mind wise to know what is real. BCC/BCH is a new altcoin in fact and has no relationship with BTC. They are playing the way "EXCHANGING FROM THE FAKE COIN TO THE REAL COIN BTC" and you are now the lost users.

It really matters little to BTC whether BCC lives or not, because it is just another altcoin and like the hundreds before it, Bitcoin is first and foremost, it sets the pace and others simply tag along. It there was some noise about BCC, 80% of it must have come from people wanting to increase their stack of Bitcoin through the free bonus and the story would most likely end there.

Though the threat of a split might not be all over yet, we are seeing the solidarity around Bitcoin getting even better and more formidable with the passage of each day since August 1st and at this moment, Bitcoin have cruised well past the $3200 price mark and very much forward looking!
