Title: BCH hashrate?
Post by: mensa84 on August 01, 2017, 01:19:14 PM
Which hashrate did BTC loose now and how much hashrate does BCH currently have?

Is there a comparision between BTC and BCH available?

I think we lost around 10-15% total. its mostly from ViaBTC and antpool.

I don't know whether they are rerouting their pool hashrate or if they are just switching some of their ASICs.

I can tell you for sure that they are holding some of my payout as hostage though

It's BCC not BCH

5% or less... far less then everyone thought ... this could take hours. They are currently working on their first block Bitcoin's network has already moved on and left them behind.

Out of 6435 P BTC hash, ViaBTC Bitcoincash pool is currently at 72 P. Just above 1%. Shitcoin gets shit amount of cash.

Bravo to noobs who sold their alts to buy BTC to get useless Bitcoin cash. Now let s see if you can get back into alts at the same price you went out. I seriously doubt this.

ViaBTC has been mining BTC... so did they lie or are they splitting their hash power?

Indeed. Read on Twitter that the nodes that support BCH are rented servers from Amazon lol.

why u think BCC is a fail? it's worth fewer dollars, but the tech is fine.
They should have made an alt coin instead though, would have been much wiser.

Forking is not a good idea ever.

The price for shitcoin is now 424 $? https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin-cash/
Will we be able to sell soon at Kraken for that price today? I think that's the best option!?

it's BCC.

Several altcoins can share the same ticker... dont worry. Some altcoins even share their ticker with 6-7 different coins. This is not FIAT.

These re future, not the same as the coin. It s just the fact people still do not know how to dump it and where to dump it.

BCC s got 200 nodes so far, man, that really sounds as a secure and professional project.

Around <<5% of total btc hash

Guess most people just wanted the free cash

Most people will stick back to btc as segwit is positive activation and will most likely confirmed in 8/8

This is just the futures markets. The split has not occurred yet, I think it should be happening in about 2 hours if not earlier, there are different dates I can find, it also depends on where you live...

It's going to be fun seeing people rushing into exchanges. I predict exchanges will have problems dealing with the traffic increase. I may way a bit, I dont want to see my BTC stuck because exchanges can't process the deposits..

The hash rate is so low it could easily be attacked by Bitcoin Core loyal miners...

They split their power, same as Antpool. I don't think this whole BCC is gonna last though, judging by everything going on. Its probably gonna fail spectacularly

edit: Yep, This bitcoin cash is definitly going to be dead in less than a week. Hashrate is only 5-10% judging by the drop in BTC hashing power (mostly from China)

You are right, their official site also suggests Bcc. Sorry.

Is it only ViaBTC pool mining it right now?

I think we must clear out the name of this shitcoin right now. The new shitcoin is Bitcoin Cash (BCH) not BCC which is an abbreviation for other term.

Also, even they make another altcoin, they will be still using the same blockchain so I think you don't need to, especially when Rover Ver is the one pushing it, he wants to make bitcoin "develop".

The difficulty of bcc/bch should drop soon as it has a different algorithm for auto-adjusting difficulty. So a block will be mined sooner or later.

Such a waste of time and all this hash power..I do not see that people are thrilled with this new coin, more like disappointed and glad that they got money for free. Now we should be back to our belowed altcoins which has at lest more abilities that can provide for us. I mean who realy needs simple fork of a Bitcoin, with problematic network?  :-X

I do not know whether to be happy or not with the presence of a new coin of BCH. Because I do not feel the result. I am just as a spectator who follows its development.

Well, I can tell you right now that block generation time means that you can't even move the coins to an exchange......

Agree on what you have said we should really Differentiate BCC from BHC because as i see BCC= Bitconnect which i do see on its abbreviation and BCH for Bitcoin cash because most people do always  say about BCC and it somehow misleads other people specially on newbies. Ver do really have beliefs on this coin though which i can say that it will surely progress its price later on for sure.

It's BCC not BCH

It has both names. Sort of confusing but maybe one will prevail in the future. Or as the world of crypto being as strange as it is both names will prevail  :D

Based on my research, bcc has hash rate of 17 petahashes/sec, while btc has 6,400 petahashes/sec, giving bcc 0.26% global hash rate support. This means the btc is stable and bcc has no significant impact to the crytocurrency.

That hashrate is going to go through the roof at some point. The difficulty is already climbing quickly. When I say that has radon referring to the overall hash rate for those that are mining the coin. This is one of those it's going to rise in popularity very quickly or drop off the face of the Earth instantly
