Opinion : I think BitcoinCash (BCH)  Will reach $500 as an average across all major Exchanges.

Discuss.

Can't say much as now.
Most people thought BCC/BCH would be quickly dumped but someone/many people are constantly buying BCC/BCH.
Either they are pumping the coin or they think the coin has a bright future.
Depends much on how Bitmain uses theirs hardware.

Do you have any reason to believe in that?
I think we can't predict it (we can gamble :) )

Yes it looks like it's getting pumped but I doubt miners will mine it at a loss for more than just the short term so it really depends on how interested the actual users are in this coin.

Of course it could easily be a whale like Roger Ver manipulating the price in the hopes of selling it later.

Once I buy some BCH, it'll crash. Thinking about pulling the trigger on a couple.

Because for now bcc is unstable off course it is just new and as it was stated needs at least 30 confirmations to a a sure transaction rather than 3 confirmations but it is highly risky. Better yet wait august 10 until everything is fixed because there still reorgs that is happening around the bch chain. The most common advice is don't put everything in 1 transaction so try experimenting a bit if you want.

this BCH is unpredictable for nw,,
because, this is the biggest airdrop, so can be dump hard anytime
for me, i will stay away to trade this BCH at this moment

There are some people/corporations with big $$$ and deep pockets behind BCH. It isn't the idealistic perfection that BTC is, but it will for sure get serious development and pushed higher. $500 is just the beginning for this one.

Possibly, it is currently trading at $363 from it's low today at $216.

I think I am going to hold what I have and watch.

If that it so, it would be good news to some. But in our country, most virtual wallets do not support the bitcoin cash.

I sold mine off which was not much. In the end I can always rebuy when the inevitable dip happens. I just do not see what this really brings to the marketplace other than another BTC clone. I try to support innovation when I can.

We can't predict it yet since it's new but it's now on $300+.In my country, the most legit virtual wallet here doesn't support bcc/bch so i don't know if i could get some of it. It will pump if people would believe on it's growth.

BCH, the CH standing for China. Its so specifically centralized its not even funny. Hard pass.

Definitely the most dangerous coin at the moment. To much hatred around.

Surprisingly many exchangers are listing it, or felt forced to redeem coins to their customers.
The pressure goes like "you cant just pocket your customer's airdropped supply yourself!"

And that spreads the coin to many places that might not want to support the concept of forking.

This effect could be enough for adding some value like fivehundred bucks?
Voicing concerns ... there isn't any real innovation behind BCH. Compare LTC.

Like it or not, there is a unified development team behind BCH with deep pockets and many big businesses to support them. Thats more than can be said for 90% of alt coins.

I foresee it will drop significantly in these early days because everyone is claiming free BCH and sell for cash. I don't think there are big investors to invest on it now due big amount of dump, unless the investors had big cash to support those dump.

Well OP, looks like you were right, it is going for $536 over on Bittrex.

Yes. I think BCH will directly compete BTC in the future just as how ETH did. There are supporters to it including these exchanges who listed it. Its also here to stay just as all these successful ICO projects we supported. It might even go beyond $1K too.

I also think that way. Bch will break in at first $ 500 as exchange. But looking at the enthusiasts are quite a lot not impossible bch will be more than 500 $.

who knows what will be the fate of this coin, as we seen that as of now most of the holders which capable to sell their share are enjoying the free
money out of their wallet and with this speculation to reach 500 its still unclear.

Well you base your opinion on what? Why not $10 or $2500?
You say discuss and many people here are open for discussion but we need you to explain first why you think $500.
Other question: Do you see a correlation in between BTC and BCH price?

Reaching $500 is really easy for BCC because as you know they have "millionaires" behind this alt but holding the price to make it stay in the current state or even higher is simply another thing.
Maybe this price will be temporary since many people still have their BCC frozen. Well, let's see what'll happen next.

There might be initial volatility, but wait for a few days. The supporters of btc will dump their BCH on exchanges.
We will have to see if BCH can survive this massive dump. If it manages to retain interest, then I think it can cross $500.

I already got my free 500$......Gonna put it into something that actually has a future instead of this thing though. I don't think its gonna last here very long, the volume of buy is much higher than sell. It's vastly over bought

I think that bitcoin cash is going to have a value in a few years greater than the actual bitcoin price but bitcoin is gonna have a huge price too, look at what happened with ethereum and ethereum classic, after fork and about a year later both overpass the value before the fork, that is going to happen with bitcoin and bitcoin cash. so i think we must hold both currencies and never sell.

Really? I doubt that. Every coin has supply, demand, and speculation. After that, we can see the pattern and I think there's no pattern until now. Besides that, people still have faith with btc as alternative payment and making profit. See again your price action about BCH and use long time period to see their price action on real market. I believe bch just like eth, always follow btc with lower price. Good luck.

I think BCH will be playing field for all whales and people who are new to crypto .. since BTC price is High, people will start to lean towards BCH.
In the end they only care about profit, then whichever coin give them they dont care.

Really surprised the price has gone up after this long.  Someone must truly believe in it.  I don't know whats going on its caught me off guard.  I kinda wanna sell now but this is a wild ride I feel like just chilling on it.

Wow It did cross $500 but didnt last longer. The current price is $490 and it reached the high of $547 . Its a great competition going on between the buy wall and sell wall .Guys you must look at the order history on bittrex , a great competition. I sold my BCC at $520 as i believe that the BCC supporters are pumping the "Altcoin" and they want us to be fooled. Bitcoin is the king and will stay the king of cryptos.

Yes, this is really, is few hours ago Bitcoin Cash reached to $600 but very it happening very fast because a huge order selling Bitcoin Cash creating after this happens. I think this just is a FUD and want investor think again the potential of Bitcoin Cash make them confused before decision sell or hold.

Many people still have there BitcoinCash frozen. Myself included.
I was going to try to dump it as the price is now $430
but everything i received today in my Bittrex account is still frozen due to "wallet maintenance"

We don't know, there's a lot of transactions on bittrex and now they disabled the deposits. For sure that there's something behind this coin that want to make the price pump and if it will reach another higher amount of price. Probably I'll sell the acquired BCH I've got on my electrum wallet and I would to do it for real.

Right now, people do not want to hear anything like this. Because BCH is like an attempt to unseat BTC from its top position. But in due time I know BCH will gain more followers. And what you say might be true in a year from now.

Bitcoin and BCH going up is super weird.  It's literally the opposite of what everyone thought would happen.  This is what keeps cryptos interesting though haha.

Only Wallet is frozen but you can still sell BCC for BTC/ETH/USD on Bittrex. Its already enabled almost 10 hrs back. Check again before you miss the train  ;) :)

It took ~8year to BTC reach where it is now. I think the price at the moment is just a bubble. The rich guys behind BCH are trying to maintain it, let's see if they can hold on

Initially, everyone thought about cashing out BCH/BCC as soon as they get but, they forgot that Bitmain is a whale and they will keep pumping until people actually believe in BCH/BCC.

if the team behind BCH is a good solid team, then I think they can make BCH survive in cryptocurrency but still it needs time to see how BCH action after this. but if I see now after BCH is launch, I think BCH have a chance to survive and I see there is a good position in the market and maybe BCH will be increase or decrease after this week.

In HitBTC exchange, Bitcoin Cash wallet is working now, just look to the graphic, it went to 0,041 let's see how it goes in others exchanges when they open BCC wallet...

I can't tell yet if bitcoin cash will reach $500 because it is a new cryptocurrency. I think it may because every cryptocurrency have a variation on their value but it may also may not reach $500 because it may drop its value when everyone still use bitcoins and not bitcoin cash. I think the value of bitcoin cash depends on the situation.

At the moment, I think Bitcoin Cash will be hard to reach at $ 500 threshold, which is pretty hard. Although before its separation from Bitcoin, its value was highly appreciated, but after its independence on August 1, its price has been decreasing or even falling. I guess that because of the Bitcoin stockpile, they claim Bitcoin Cash and then sell it off for profit, which causes the price to fall further. But in the future, it is a promising promising coin, its value will likely rise to about $ 500.

well as expected so better to sell yours too as we see more and more dumped to happen along the road as its was a free money fro everyone who did understand
this fork that happen and getting back to that level would be a big question to everyone it will take some time before any big investors will try to pumped back bch.

I didn't think it would hit $1k as it did the day it got listed on bittrex, but you are right the trend has been a constant downtrend for over a day now, hard to see the end of it.

Hopefully, BCH will recover ones the transactions are stable and blocks mining get faster by reduced difficulty. Still I think considering the current Hash rate they need to reduce difficulty drastically so as to make network faster.
Once miners find rewards of mining they will slowly start to move in. We need to give some breathing period to this new coin.

Which you predicted is a true he up to 500usd but now BCH (https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin-cash/) is experiencing a sharp drop.my opinion in this month he will stay at 0.1BTC he will not rise 0.2btc again this month of August.but I Will buy a little again today with price 0.074btc for keep watch if it later rises to 1K usd :)

Price depends on the number of users and uses. Miners will always mine that coin which would be beneficial for them.
Bitcoin is the indisputable leader in SHA section. It's hard for another SHA coin like Bitcoincash or Litecoin to compete with it.

I think it goes back up over time. Maybe not now or in the near future, but usually there are spikes in altcoins when a big whale decides to get involved, and that is when you make your money.
My plan is to just figure out how to get my BCH to begin with... than I'll figure out what to do with it. haha

Its value depends on its money flow. If many people invest for this cryptocurrency I think it may boom but if no one or few people invest to this cryptocurrency maybe it won't reach that value.

That’s true. Crypto market is not stable all the time. It is full of fluctuations. The coin which is at the top of the list in market can be at the bottom in the next second. Same is the matter with bitcoin cash. But the pace at which people have dumped this coin, I don’t think so it would be easy for bitcoin cash to touch 500 dollars before the end of 2017.

I don't think Bitcoin Cash will be as volatile as the rest of the other alts. It might get pumped and dumped, but I don't see it dropping to the bottom of the top 100. If it does, I would consider it a failure.

The whales owned thousands of these BCH so if you own several btc then you also owned several BCH and they all are keeping it.

BCH will reach $500 at some point, it could be achieved  in several months, we've seen its price when it started. Sooner more miners are going to support it just as how bitcoin were supported and by then we will see its price hit $500.

I suppose it's impossible, although the BCH is widely recognized, but in reality, people get it for free, it does not work like bitcoin, it lags bitcoin about everything. So, its value is still very low.

I think bitcoin cash will never be more popular than other great alternative coins. Its price will stall. $500 is too much even. Ether is lot more useful.

It's high likely will happen and I think in the next year it will be above $1000, it is really good coin and investment and soon people will realize it.

Bitcoin cash went to $1000 and clashed to $289 on second of august 2017. The current price according to coinmarketcap.com is $308 and popular exchanging platform poloniex.com will soon listed bitcoin cash which may give this coins an opportunity to move up ward towards your predicting. I believe the coins is going to definitely trade above $500 in days to come.

Also there is significant support for BCH in that Bitmain will only sell it's ASICs for bitcoincash, which means all buyers have to buy BCH in order to purchase. And Bitmain pretty much has a monopoly on ASICs.

1)Many User use BCH as alternative of BTC but now most of them loss hope with that .

2) BTC price increase fast and many gain more with BTC more than BCH

3) new BTG start so many will use it
