Filecoin does have the name advantage and I believe there was also some important guy behind it that founded Java or something? Not sure.

Are we talking about the same thing? https://ipfs.io/ or I am missing something here. As I understand ipfs is provided without any crowdfunding where you can host the nede within their network if you wanted to.

Talk about difference between Filecoin(IPFS storage project), Storj and PPIO. It's written by the CEO of PPIO (https://pp.io/) so it is potentially biased. |
