Hi. As btc successfully obtained segwit technology, no hard fork happened. Thus, your question is irrelevant to current situation. However, some people still think bcc is worth buying, for it is closer to what btc always was, closer to what Satoshi meant it to be.. That's why probably it is not worthless but I think it is just another coin now. It is up 55%, of course, but I think it will eventually go down. If something is worth to be done with bcc then I think it is not buying but mining it, because we all now the first coins are so easy to mine whereas afterwards it is all not that easy.

Not yet, because they also inherited Bitcoin's difficulty with the split.

This is why BCH is currently 108 blocks behind BTC. For comparison there are 144 blocks per day to be found.

But BCH is designed that if blocks take over 2 hours to be found, its difficulty will decrease by 20% per block - which didn't happen yet for some reason even though there were much slower blocks.

Mining power following the profits means an equilibrium will be reached meaning the hashrate of both coins will be tied to their price.

I think you should not buy it now it is very undervalued now lots of people will dump it if you want to buy it, you can buy very cheap in a few months.

Buy Bitcoin cash when it is already dumping in price. Just wait for a few more days for BCC's price to become even cheaper. After that, buy and hold. There might come a time in the future that BCC will acquire value.

Thanks to all for a genuine review of BCC and now i postpone my buy for later time.
Wise choice. Also remember before buying, consider looking here at bitcointalk. Buy when the time comes that little to none talks about BCC because probably by that time the hype has come to pass and will just be part of the bitcointalk history. It won't be long though so hold for now if you already have some but if you don't have, wait a little longer until the hype is gone.

Im a die hard bitcoin fan so I would recommend for you to not to buy bcc. It is not worth it and for sure its price will not be the same as btc. If you want to buy a coin for long term better choice bitcoin instead of this coin.

What's the reason to buy Bitcoin Cash when it has the same purpose as Bitcoin, but almost no actual usage nor being recognized and used by many merchants like Bitcoin?
FYI, everyone could just fork the main chain and create another copy, but will you buy every copied Bitcoin?

I guess it'll have quite some value in future, look how ETC performed Vs ETH and ETC was actually suppose to die in the forking process.

It is worth selling. :D

Bitmain actually multiplied our coins, we all have seen the websites and called them scams, but they have done it.

Thanks for the free money Bitmain.

first,Bitcoin Cash ticker on the exchanger not BCC but instead BCH.
BCC ticker is for Bitcoin Core,
From the beginning it not worth a single cent, but because it's created based on Bitcoin Chain some people trying to pump it a little bit because they want to get profit from it and then get out.
no matter what,it doesn't have any function at all and current hype happened because a 'Big Guy' who's holding a million BCH want to dump it so he created a this shill

I am not very familiar with ETC/ETH split, but I did study ETH and invest some of that, but I think it's not very appropriate to compare the case of ETH/ETC split to BTC/BCC split, as they've very different purpose, BTC/BCC are meant to be a decentralised digital currency, while ETH/ETC sort of behave like "fuel" for projects. (correct me if I'm wrong.)

Plus if you compare the hash rate of ETH/ETC, and the price of ETH/ETC, you'll find that they're highly correlated, but do the same comparison on BTC/BCC, you'll find that BCC network hash power alone is far less to the ratio of the BTC/BCC price, and when BTC/BCC serve as digital currency, you have to think about is there actual merchant going to adopt BCC.

Just my $.2

On trading rules, we should actually buy on the dip price and if we do have bcc as of now better to sell it out and as you said we just let the hype to cool down already because eventually price would really decrease. For now we are on the peak of Bcc price which buying would really be a risky thing to do because anytime it would really crash its price because people who do hold of it would really sell out those for free money.
