Title: [POLL] Full Disclosure Rollback Poll Post by: Terpie on June 21, 2011, 01:37:32 PM Let's all be honest here. You can specify your exact actions in this thread.
Title: Re: Full Disclosure Poll Post by: dust on June 21, 2011, 01:43:51 PM I did not make any trades that day. I am in favor of rolling back the trades. Mtgox absolutely has the right to do so.
Title: Re: Full Disclosure Poll Post by: Gladiator on June 21, 2011, 01:47:19 PM It's so much fun!
Every poll I saw clearly shows that majority is in favor of roll back, but those against it shout louder... Title: Re: Full Disclosure Poll Post by: Terpie on June 21, 2011, 02:19:14 PM It's so much fun! Every poll I saw clearly shows that majority is in favor of roll back, but those against it shout louder... I've been noticing the same. They deserve the title of Americas biggest clown.

Title: Re: [POLL] Full Disclosure Rollback Poll Post by: goodlord666 on June 21, 2011, 04:21:16 PM Neither.
Title: Re: [POLL] Full Disclosure Rollback Poll Post by: Bazil on June 21, 2011, 04:25:38 PM I had a low buy order already on the books. Got some bitcoins for cheap, but I'm still in favor of the roll back.
Title: Re: [POLL] Full Disclosure Rollback Poll Post by: dennis_sweden on June 21, 2011, 04:38:51 PM I have spent a fair share of today arguing against Mtgox's claims, which I believe have been false. However, at no point did I argue against a rollback. It is not possible to make an informed choice with little or no knowledge, and frankly speaking I find it a little worrying many people (although many of those arguing against Mtgox have been doing so on the basis of a lack disclosure of information) can make a choice under these premises. It may not make much of a difference what the market want vis-à-vis what Mtgox decides to do, but in a capitalist system the market can only make as good decisions as there is available information; other decisions are based upon "guesstimations".
Title: Re: [POLL] Full Disclosure Rollback Poll Post by: imperi on June 21, 2011, 04:44:17 PM I voted option 4 but I meant to select option 1. So keep this in mind.

After having done some figuring, I remembered the queuing system inside the tradebook, so I'm with the undertstanding whomever's bitcoins I bought at 13 would have been actually selling them. -bot(s) would have been selling them at that price point because they have been creating artificial margins with no intent to buy or sell outside of those walls. I know this because I've studied them like John Connor's Resistance. What they do/did is slowly put huge amounts of orders on both sides to create buy/sell walls. Once they have enough coins from doing pump (0.00XXX buys) and dumps (500+ sells) they remove the walls and rebuild them at whatever price becomes after that. I was getting dicked on paying double percentage on every trade I making over the weekend trying to get back equal to what I lost or a little more, wasn't trying to be greedy. BTW... just wait until I do this again: http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=19192.0 It defies logic. xD |
